If you like gothic horror or even just enjoyed Get Out, I'd recommend the latest episode of Atlanta (S2E6).
Darius (Lakeith Stanfield - Andre from Get Out) goes to a mansion to 'collect' a free piano. The owner turns out to be a ghoulish figure who seems pleasant enough but you can't quite figure out what his end game is. The episode does an excellent job of drip-feeding you information and takes some enjoyable hard lefts.
Normally you can't watch a show out of context, but this was a well-done stand-alone and maybe one of the best episodes of any TV show this year.

So finally finished up Twin Peaks and god damn, what a shitty ass ending. I mean really that whole final episode to me was just boring as fuck and led to nowhere and then it just kind of ends on a weird anticlimactic cliffhanger if you can call it that. I would say before the last two episodes, I was digging the reboot more than the original but damn, that ending really kind of soured everything that came before it. I was somewhat worried about this though as it's a calling card of Lynch to just do some stupid ass shit like that. There were parts of it I really liked though. I loved everything about the las vegas storyline. I liked Dr. Jacoby's little radio show thing. I liked the resolution of Ed and Norma after all those years. The mitchum brothers were a lot of fun. I liked the heavier screen time for Albert and Gordon Cole. I could have done without everything Audrey related. Ben Horn was always a worthless character in my book and his story never led anywhere. Ultimately more loose ends than I cared to have. I could understand that ending if they knew they were going to do another season but from what I understand, Lynch really didn't have any intention of making another season after this one. Bleh.

Really hope something bad happens to Jian Yang on Silicon Valley here shortly, they've steadily made him maybe the douchiest character of the series, which is saying something in a series that featured Erlich Bachman.

I'm not really sure what to say about the DC Legends of Tomorrow finale. That battle scene with Mallus was both awesomely funny and stupid at the same time.
I'm praying that they don't just turn into demon hunters based on the ending.

I think I’m out on Legion. I watched season one because the first episode was neat and despite the rarely progressing story some of the visuals were so neat that I couldn’t look away.
Feels like what I’ve watched this year is all visuals, no story.

Here & Now - This maybe the worst show I've seen since The Secret Life of an American Teenager way back when I had a thing for Shailene Woodley. For a show that was supposed to be socially conscious, some of the situations were so outlandish and phoned in that it felt like I was watching something out of Mars. I was hoping once we got to the season finale and figured out the deal with 11:11 it would magically come together, but it ends on an anti-climax. I was sold on the presence of Alan Ball, Holly Hunter & Tim Robbins, what I got was a show that was rightfully torn apart by the critics. Probably the biggest TV disappointment since True Detective Season 2.
Barry - Feels like it's coming into it's own after a relatively safe start. I enjoyed how in the recent episodes they handled Barry's relationship with Sally and how creepy his nice gesture came off.
Silicon Valley - It feels like they're stammering to come up with their next arc now that Erlich is out the picture. Right now it seems like they're trying to book Jian-Yang as the top heel of the show, but the character only worked as a foil for Erlich. I hope they flesh his character out and don't just have him beat Pied Piper to market for the sake of drama. Otherwise I thought this week's episode was strong. The idea of outing somebody's religion being more serious than their sexuality was topical and handled really well.
Channel Zero - I'm having a difficult time getting invested in this series. The first season was inconsistent but had enough creepy imagery to stay invested in. This seems more like Season 2 where the horror plot is taking a back-seat to another story the show-runners want to focus on. What I hate about this is that it doesn't compliment the show at all, it takes away from it and I'm not sure what to focus on. I wanted to get invested in the 'Don't Look Now' vibe it had going, instead I'm watching a bunch of zany characters talk about the perks of cannibalism.

Watched Hulu's The Handmaid's Tale. Holy hell is Margaret Atwood disturbed. What a fantastic show. Truly awful source material but it was so well done. The worst part is how awful the USA and their leaders currently are, you can almost see this happening if the birth rates drop like they did in the story. Terrifying. I binged this over the weekend as the second season has just started - and agreed, holy fuck what a show! As gripping as it is horrifying, I can't wait for the rest to come out. Some really amazing acting.

So, Fear the Walking Dead: Just killed basically the most interesting character, shot and killed just out of nowhere at the end of the episode. Not really sure I feel about it, with him gone, Strand is really the only character left that I care about for the time being, Morgan excluded.

Made the mistake of watching Handmaids Tale episode 3 before bed. Nightmares all night.
Season 2 of Brockmire is uncomfortable thus far, though I really laughed hard at “I’ve been told it’s exactly average sized by sex workers in sixteen different languages”

I gave up on Rise. To much damn singing and its just kind of bleh.
Finished up season 1 of 13 reasons Why and really enjoyed it despite it's extremely bleak tone.

I really enjoyed the Donnie Darko Post-Grunge feel 13 Reasons Why had. However, you could see where the show took liberties with the source material and that there wasn't enough there to stretch it out to 13 episodes. Not only did it lead to a lot of filler, the whole hook of the show, trying to figure out why the main lead would ever be on these tapes felt really cruel, especially since he had to wait so long to hear what he did.

So much for Lethal Weapon, evidently Clayne Crawford had some troubles on set and is on his way out, even if it's not outright cancelled, it will be once he leaves anyway, so I'll just check out on his exit. Pity, entertaining show.

Great finale to Atlanta - so many fantastic full circle references back to the start of the show like Ern's job at the airport, the sofa out in the park - and a really satisfying ending after Ern taking so many hits throughout the season. It's a good job DG is such a pop culture phenomenon at the moment with so many projects to tide us over until the show is back.

So Last Man Standing is returning? If so than awesome.
Also started getting back into The Librarians... watched the first episode sometime last year, but finally watched the first two seasons over the last few days. It's not bad, very much like Warehouse 13 (though not quite as good), plus it has Christian Kane, which is a nice added bonus.

I can't believe Last Man Standing got renewed but after a finale like that, Lucifer can't find a home, it's bloody disgraceful.

So, Fear the Walking Dead: Just killed basically the most interesting character, shot and killed just out of nowhere at the end of the episode. Not really sure I feel about it, with him gone, Strand is really the only character left that I care about for the time being, Morgan excluded. Meh, I don't mind. In all honesty, I kind of found the character annoying. It did kind of feel out of nowhere though... Almost as if maybe the actor playing him was just hard to work with on set so they were just like "fuck it". I know during season 1 he had an issue with a security guard and just acted like a total dick. To me this season of Fear kind of feels like they are hitting the reset button on the series. The show just feels different, and I mean that in a good way actually. I love the additions of John Dorie and Al to the story and I like the flashback moments of how things started to go wrong at the stadium. The big bad of the season I'm not sure of. They are unique in that they aren't using violence, at least as to the point i'm at right now they haven't, they are just simply waiting them out and will collect their resources when they break down and leave. Also the big mystery of Madisons fate and what has become of her. I'm still two eps back but what I'm seeing so far, I've really enjoyed Fear.

Looks like Roseanne's mouth just got her show yanked off the air.
ABC cancelled Roseanne, after tweeting racial remarks about former Obama adviser, Valarie Jarrett, after quote, "comparing Jarrett to an ape," and calling her a muslim.

That's just plain fucking stupidity, it's bog standard shit that you can't refer to people of black heritage as apes or monkeys. Even if they actually look like an ape or a monkey, ya just don't fucking do it.

^ That sucks and I'm sure the Trump Supporters who are fans will not complain about libtard PC culture LOL. Oh it's already begun. We live in such a weird time where by one group being offended by everything has made another group think that everything should be free game to insult. It would be nice to find that happy medium between going over everything with a fine tooth comb in hopes of finding racism/bigotry and being a raging asshole who thinks it's ok to belittle people in a public platform for stupid bull shit? Anyways ABC is in the right on this one. It's a bummer that everybody else got swept up in the bull shit and are out of work now though as she was the show.

All I can say is that Roseanne committed career suicide because of what she did. And she in turn, cost her show's cast and crew their jobs as well. And they had nothing to do with that. This was all caused by one person, with one tweet.
