The second season of One Punch Man, has been great so far, probably my favorite show this season. Attack on Titan on the other hand, while it's only been one episode, left me feeling meh about it, hopefully things will pick up moving forward.
As for the other non returning shows, I'm really liking what I've seen of both Fairy Gone, and Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, they seem like they could be good action series. I still have two other shows, I need to get around to checking out, but I'll either do that tomorrow, or over the weekend.

Episode 4 of One Punch Man was so damn good, definitely one of the better episodes of the whole show, and it looks like it's only going to get better from here. People were worried about the studio switch, but the show clearly still has what makes it special.
I really enjoyed the first episode of Attack on Titan but it was pretty much 100% buildup for episode 2 so that one is going to be a lot better and I can't wait. It's not going to be as good as GoT episode 3, but I bet it delivers plenty.

Lony, you stick around with Dororo? Playing catch-up and just can't wrap my head around the Dad and brother (episode 12). We had to sacrifice something for the people. You didn't sacrifice shit dude. LOL.

Looks like next season of AoT is the last. Haven't seen the current one (playing catch-up) but word is the manga is nearing an ending so hopefully it'll be satisfying. This combined with TWD (comic anyways) ending this week has me feeling things.
May read through the manga after watching the completed series in 2020. Berserk and One Piece though...

I loved this One Punch man season. Although it is a bit disappointing that Saitama was no longer the main character, it kind of worked out pretty well because there could be actual battles before he arrived on the scene. Most importantly though, it was still fucking hilarious. I thought the Attack on Titan season was great as well with some pretty shocking developments for non-manga readers like me. I was still annoyed that they have mastered the art of absolutely nothing happening throughout an entire episode for several of them, but the action was good and the story is pretty cool.
I also just completed Psychic Detective Yakumo which I loved. It was a unique story that I haven't seen too many shows like and I really liked the main character. The emphasis on the psychological / spiritual aspects was nice since a lot of anime is all about the action. But it's not totally abstract like Mushishi or anything. The style kind of reminded me of Monster but more modern. It is sad that there was only one season. Apparently there was also a live action based on this though that was also cancelled after one season, but I guess that may be worth a watch soon.

www.cnn.com/2019/07/18/asia/kyoto-animation-fire-intl-hnk/index.htmlDid you guys hear about the Kyoto Animation (KyoAni) studio arson attack? It's absolutely disgusting. 33 dead, another 35 injured. I just, I just can't fathom how somebody could do something like this. All those families destroyed and for what... just disgusting. My thoughts and prayers to all the injured, as well as to all the families who lost love ones.

Was skimming the fall season and looks like we're getting a sequel to High Score Girl. It's on netflix atm if anyone's interested, but I really liked it so I'm happy to see that. Thought it was finished.

Speaking of returning shows for the fall season... so looking forward to season four of My Hero Academia, legit one of my all-time favourite anime series. Also season three of Psycho-Pass as well, I need both DJM & Raven to return for that, as they were big fans of the series as well.

I'm still playing catch up so I can't really give much of an opinion on it yet. Did you finish Dororo from a few seasons ago?

Yes, actually finished the last couple episodes over the weekend. Fantastic series, pretty much ended how I thought it would, we'll mostly anyways... I figured the brother's would end up killing one another, but the way they went was pretty good as well.

Anyways, I ended up dropping Dr. Stone, as well as Vinland Saga, just wasn't feeling either of them. I am, however, completely on board with Fire Force (Enen no Shouboutai), a fun little series and I'm just really enjoying it so far.

Weathering with You opened in Australia and it's only playing in Sydney, which is about a 3hour train ride total to get to. (Driving to Sydney just isn't worth it)

Yay Mistress is back.
How are you liking Fire Force, Mistress? I'm really enjoying it myself. I tried getting into Dr. Stone as well, but after a couple of episodes, I dropped it.
Dragon Ball Super is nearing it's end, only a few more episodes left.

Finally finished Dororo and S2 of One Punch. Liked OP, but man if it didn't feel more like a set-up than an actual season. Dororo was enjoyable start to finish. Ending caught me by surprise as I really thought they were going for a more downer finale.

Though I'm just now starting last season, which may be a blessing so there's no wait if I go this pace from now on...
Upcoming I got my eyes on:
High Score Girl II Nanatsu no Taizai: Kamigami no Gekirin Rifle is Beautiful
And apparently the One Punch OVA.
For fans of 90s games like SF2 I really recommend checking out HSG.

I just finished watching a project called Black Fox, it was pretty decent. If you're a fan of superhero-related stuff, then there is a good chance you'll like this as well.
This was originally supposed to be an anime series, but for whatever reason (production problems, I believe), it was turned into a film instead. I will say this though, it did end on a cliffhanger, so a sequel would be nice, however, I wouldn't expect one, again due to the problems they were having while trying to make it a TV series.

My Hero Academia has returned, and while it was mostly a recap/filler episode, I did enjoy the interactions between the reporter and Izuku “Deku” Midoriya. I know I’ve talked about this show a lot before, but man it’s seriously one of my all-time favourite anime series, right up there with Dragon Ball Z and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex.
Two episodes into Assassins Pride, and it’s been pretty standard fare up to this point. The fight scenes have been decent enough so far as well, but in a season full of sequels* (at least for me anyway), it’s nice to have a show that’s new and isn’t completely bad.
*Speaking of sequels, the third season of Psycho-Pass starts next week, and I’m hyped AF for it. Admittedly I’m hoping it’ll be more like the first season, and less like the second, ultimately though I’m just happy it’s returning. Also returning seasons for both Fairy Gone, and of course, Seven Deadly Sins which I need to get around to starting at some point next week.
So five shows from this season, as well as both Black Clover and Fire Force, returning from last season... I definitely have my hands full.

Looks like the Konosuba movie that was in Japan theatres in August is being shown in a few theatres here via Crunchyroll. Think I'm gonna check it out rather than waiting for a proper sub.
<_< Or not, most are sold out. Guess it's a waiting game afterall.

I find I'm getting a lot more picky on what shows even make the "try episode 1" cut and then only a select few of those continue for the remainder of the season. Definitely over the "moe, 4 cute girls do cute things in cute ways" slice of life show. Guess it's just become too standard and samey for me. Too formulatic. Super positive main that's bad at school work? Yep. Interest in a club that has no members? Yep.
