Irving is indeed struggling rough first half.
Ben Simmons despite what the stats tell you and he was good but he still refuseor cant shoot when the defense give to him he really needs to work on his jumper

Do you think Boston has the deepest team in the league?

Do you think Boston has the deepest team in the league? I think Boston, Toronto and Warriors are the three teams the deepest team in the league while I admit Iggy and Livingston from the Warriors are not getting any younger.

Durant being more interested in Westbrook in the front row than the game kinda sums this up I think...

I kinda lost interest last night because Warriors games feel fairly pointless.
The Pelicans are a fun team to watch. Randle is a nice add for them and a pretty big loss for the Lakers imo.

Do you think this will be the year that the Spurs finally miss the playoffs? I know they added DeRozan, but will that be enough to field a playoff team?

Lonzo Ball is straight ass. I wonder how much longer ESPN and co will try to sell us him as the next big thing. Dude was borderline top 15 rookie last year.

Kawhi is officially back....best player in the East now easily. I'd take Giannis over him. Kawhi is still a better player. Better overall defender, more polished offensive game, and most importantly, Kawhi actually has a jump shot. Giannis is better athletically but that's as far as it goes.

Assuming health and he can get back to where he was two seasons ago, Kawhi > Giannis. Gianis is potentially better, but he’ll have to actually show it before getting there.

Giannis is better athletically but that's as far as it goes. And yet Giannis scores more points , because he can get to the foul line at will. Not too mention he played in about the worst and snail paced system last year. I wouldn't be shocked and some people thing Giannis could average 30-11-7 this year - that would be a fucking blast to see. Giannis as a facilitator also jumps him up a notch. Not too mention he could probably play 4/5 positions on offense and guard all five on defense. The dude is due a leap this year and could be top three by the end of the season.

Kawhi had an all world coach, Giannis had to deal with an inept offense ran by Kidd. He now has a solid coach in Budenholzer, a Popovich disciple. Giannis is more durable. He is far from potential at this point the potential has become reality.
And Giannis creates less headaches.

Not sure your reference about more points. In their peak seasons, Giannis scored 1 point more than Kawhi. I am expecting Giannis to be better with Bud though. After the Bucks got over some of the overpassing issues they were having last night they were flat out great.

FIST FIGHT!
So Rajon Rondo and Chris Paul got into a physical altercation during last nights Lakers/Rockets game. Mark Ingram, who started the whole thing by shoving James Harden, also came in after throwing a punch. We should be seeing suspensions to all 3 players. The NBA is off to an exciting start!

I thought it all got started because Paul got spat at? Pretty shitty if so, I'd rather a punch to the nose than spit in the face. Nothing worse.

Seemingly it did but still I'd rather be spit on then have my eye gouged like what Paul tried to do.
Great job by the head of the players union, way to show your professionalism.
Ingram is a punk for shoving Harden and then sucker punching Paul. Should spend more time bulking up those noodle arms it has wants to show off his testerone so much.

So the Cavs already fired their head coach Tyrone Lue which yesterday they loss to the Pacers drop 0-5.
I guess Dan Gilbert have some weird high expectation unless there is more to it for the firing. Never thought Lue was a good head coach anyways but the timing is wierd.

Just goes to show that one man can change a team's fortune.

Which is a horrible quality to have if your team is rebuilding/going young. I'm really happy he's gone.

What's Dan Gilbert's long term solution? Does he even have one? Lue might not have been the greatest coach, but Dan Gilbert is an even worse owner.

He hasn’t coached a consequential young player.

Say what you want about it being early, but the MVP is going to go to Joel Embiid this season. That man is dominating.
