JJ Watt didn't dominate today but he did play really well, he had a swatted ball and a few other good plays, meanwhile Andre Luck got shut out by the Jags today and Aaron Rodgers' Packers got beat by the Cards and will not make the playoffs.

So... JJ Watt Comeback Player Of The year right?!? This whole 9 game win streak really started in that loss to the Giants, JJ Watt really lit a fire under this team's ass in that game even though we lost, he really poured his heart out in that game and has had a pretty great season considering many thought he was done.

JJ was listed questionable before the game and apparently had a knee injury. To me he wasn't 100% but he and Clowney still did the damage. The two early picks from Mayfield was because he threw the ball scared.

Thankfully that has to be the death nail for McCarthy's tenure in Green Bay. I don't even know though that in season would be what I wanted - solely because the last thing we need is one of these lame ass assistants to come in , spark this team and become a serious candidate for next year.

The Packers loss today was this team in a nutshell this year and just another full display on why McCarthy is terrible. The third down play calling continues to kill this team (I think 4 runs on third down , 3 to Jamal Williams) , he once against took Jones out for at least 2+ quarters. Put him in for 2 plays , scores a touchdown and benches him again. I don't know what his love for Williams is but it's fucking ridiculous.

Like all season we'd make a few plays and stall due to stupidity or miscues like drops or penalties. Defensively was just as bad as well , play well , play well and boom we're fucked. There was a play on the Cards go ahead drive where we had them , with a rookie quarterback backed up into his own endzone on 3rd and 26 and somehow still allowed the first down completion to the Fitzgerald for a first. Insanity.

There were special teams miscues all over. A punt in the first quarter where Josh Jones didn't even attempt to down the ball inside the five. There was a great punt later on that was wiped out by a stupid penatlies that cost us about 25 yards in FP.

Overall it just looked like this offense quit at times. Even at the end of the game when we were driving to tie it there seemed to be zero urgency. Like they are all done with McCarthy's offense and just want him gone.

Losing at home , to one of the worst teams in the NFL in a last stand for the playoffs is embarrassing though.

Great swing in the last 2 minutes for the Vikings there, looked like the Pats would go in to score and go up by 13/17 before the half, but a good challenge and then a big third down stop got the ball back, before a nice drive and the difference is only 3 points at the break.

Vikes TD celebration not quite as good as last week's limbo though...

Patriots are obviously still an upper tier team but they just don't have the same fear value this season. Brady doesn't seem to have the same magic, Josh Gordon is just another guy rather than the Super Saiyan we know he can be, and Gronk has checked out.
