I totally agree with the Hail Mary thing. If that wonderful play of luck gets ruined by instant replays, I'll be irked. Imagine Doug Flutie jumping around in his belly shirt in his Boston College days and the referees waving their arms for a replay and it being overturned?! MOMENT RUINED. NO TY. Keep your technology, I say. Fire the refs.

Yeah he overtook Sharpe a few years back. Jordy is one of the ultimate Packers and right behind Rodgers as my favorite player of the decade. Maybe second favorite ever.
Sad to see him go , happy he didn’t hang around too long as well. Hopefully the Packers do the right thing and sign him for a day to allow him to retire a Packer.
A sure fire member of the Packers ring of honor too.

Trade 2nami continues! Bears send Jordan Howard to the Eagles for a sixth rounder in 2020, and it sounds like Robert Quinn is on his way to Dallas from Miami for a (as yet unconfirmed) similar late round draft pick.

This is the perfect landing spot for Jordan Howard. He’s going to have a big bounce back season.
Dallas getting stronger and are a legit Super Bowl contender coming into this season. They need to hit this draft good.

Yeah I think so , it's not an easy choice no matter what but I just loved watching Jordy play and his and Rodgers chemistry was incredible. Driver was incredible as well and both were GREAT for the community - but it's like pulling teeth. I just loved Jordy.

Packers legend Forrest Gregg has passed away today at age 85.
This guy was one of the true titans of the game, and is in the short running for greatest Packer of all-time. Vince Lombardi himself called him "the finest player I've ever coached" And this was a guy that coached Jimmy Taylor, Bart Star, Ray Nietshcke, Herb Adderly, and ton of other Packer legends.

Could Russell Wilson actually be traded this offseason? There has been smoke all offseason about his contract and that he could be on the way out , even Glazer reported months ago that he don't think Wilson will be a Seahawk next year and now there is reports from PFT that the Seahawks don't believe Wilson wants to be in Seattle anymore.
I have to believe there are a ton of teams out there who would be knocking down Seattles door to try and get him. Jacksonville might even have some buyers remorse over getting Foles.
You'd have to believe the Giants , Redskins , Broncos amongst others are salivated. I could definitely see John Elway trying to pull something off by draft day.

I don't know what the hell Seattle is thinking here. There are only a handful of QB's that can put their franchise on their back, and Russell Wilson is one of them. Keeping him should be their absolute highest priority.

Now counter reports are saying Wilson's agent is working on a contract with Seattle right now. They might be in talks but generally when stories like these don't go away - there is validity to it.
John Elway is desperate for a QB - he should just offer a first and second this year along with a first and second next year. Wilson would put Denver back on the map and is used to winning with a good defense and running game. Perfect fit. Plus it's in the AFC.

Keeping him should be their absolute highest priority. Because having a cheap QB and good team all around him > having the most expensive QB in league history and a middling team around him. This feels like it’s your corner to be in. But the reports suggest its Russ that doesn’t want to be there, not Seattle that wants him out.

Yeah it seems more of a Russ thing. Rumor is they have til midnight to make a deal.
And the Seahawks know how much an incredible advantage they had with Russ on a cheap deal. I don't see them sustaining the same success with Russ on a record contract.
Having said that , the Seahawks roster already isn't what it once was and Russ is capable of at least overcoming a mediocre team to get them to the playoffs. And there are plenty of teams out there who would and should sell the farm for him.
Cincy is too cheap but that'd be fun.

Obviously a trade would facilitate them getting one in the draft. It wouldn’t be Murray but they could surely line themselves up to get Lock or Haskins.
Interesting stat I read today:
In both Seattle’s Super Bowl appearances , Wilson made less than .6% of their cap. If anyone appreciates the cheap QB good team mode - it’s Seattle.

Russ was the one that broke the news and he tweeted it from bed with Ciara.
"I'm the highest paid player in the NFL and I just fucked a model/singer, y'all. Thanks for your support, I really needed it."
I love him.

Felt like Russ trying to build leverage, with all the “Look at how much those franchise tags are gonna cost” and “he doesn’t really like it there” type things.

35 per year is a lot especially when you consider he only gets to throw the ball about 15 times a game.

Not sure what he has left in the tank after the season ending injury, but we shall see.

When Mahomes rookie deal is up his contract is going to utterly smash this one. Provided he stays healthy and keeps doing what he's doing.

When Mahomes rookie deal is up his contract is going to utterly smash this one. Provided he stays healthy and keeps doing what he's doing. Even lesser QBs will beat this one. Everytime a new deal is up if the Quarterback is even moderately successful they are going to break the bank. Jared Goffs deal will probably smack this one.

The NFL schedule will be released tonight; so pumped.
It has leaked that the Patriots will be hosting the Steelers on SNF. That should be something. The new look Steelers on primetime right off the bat. The Patriots will also be hosting the Chiefs in Week 14. Also, Week 8 Browns, Week 9 SNF against the Ravens, Week 11 at Philly and Week 12 hosting the Cowboys. That looks like a tough ass second half of the schedule for New England if those leaks are true.

The New York Jets schedule is out and it's got some BIG games. Week 2, awesome. Week 7, awesome. Two MNF games and they even get a TNF primetime game against the Ravens. 3 primetime games. Awesome. Unfortunately, when they get the Steelers in Week 16, it's not in Pitt and will be in NY. I would've loved to see Bell in Pitt. Where Blindy at?

AYO thereallt, Big Blue schedule out too. They get 3 primetime games too on Eli's farewell tour. TNF against the Patriots in what will be the final Eli vs Brady game. MNF home against the Cowboys. MNF at Philly will be his final primetime game AND he ends his regular season (possibly career) against Philly, too. 3 primetime games for these boys, too. Should be a fun year in the NY/NJ area unless the Giants suck ass and are just taking up precious primetime hours to suck ass and finish 2-14.

That's a much gentler schedule than last year which was absolutely brutal. First time I can ever remember us not having a SNF game though, although I guess that's what you get for trading your most marketable player.

Did the NFL purposely screw the Raiders?
They have the hardest schedule AND the most 1pm games of any West team since 2002, with a total of 7.
Something tells me that the scheduling makers really didn’t want to see the Raiders succeed before their move to Vegas.
Maybe to have a high pick in the draft heading to Vegas? Interesting.
