The Lucha Bros. are probably my favorite tag team, not currently in the WWE, at the moment... this is definitely a big pick up for All Elite Wrestling.

I don't think the Lucha Bros are a exclusive deal, but still a good get.

On opting to leave WWE for AEW, Jericho stated: “Yes, I can do this. What AEW is doing is showing me respect and showing me they have a lot of expectations for me. The cart is on my back. I have to do great work and go the extra mile to make this work….I have to use my 30 years of experience to help build this company. And that’s exciting to me.”

Its been reported on some of the news and rumor sites. Jericho is already in character setting something up with the comment "Everybody is so excited, except me. Both are pale comparison to my mentors: Negro Casas, Bestia Salvaje, and Emilio Charles. So, stay the hell away from me."   That said I expect him to face one of the brothers at double or nothing or maybe both in a tag team match.

We’ve already got a storyline! AEW is practically on golden shores!

I am now in as a fan. 

One of the worst kept secrets in Pro Wrestling, but I'm glad he isn't going to the WWE. As much as I'd like to see a AJ Styles vs. Kenny Omega rematch or even a Kenny Omega vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match, the WWE presentation would hinder it significantly.

I heard the presentation for the whole thing was pretty brutal?

Kylie Rae also joined, which is a really good get for their women's division.

I'm really pleased to see they are going outside of the "comfort zone" with some of their additions to the women's division. Signing Nyla Rose is a big deal for very obvious reasons, but she's built a good reputation in the East Coast indies and touring in Japan - and from what I've seen in (admittedly gif format) she's athletic and exciting. I knew of similarly little about Yuka Sakazaki but after a quick Youtube dive she's got a fun character and is a well rounded wrestler. And Aja Kong is Aja Kong.

It did get considerably better with Kenny Omega's debut.

All jokes aside, it's looking really good. And if they can swing some WWE like production levels, it will be a great product.

I guess Lionheart can either see dead people, or read messages from them because Jericho in AEW is making me flacid.

I was excited to see Jericho outside of the WWE system, it's something I didn't think would happen. Then I saw it, it was good the first time, then he kept having the same souless 'hate' filled brawl over and over again. I'm ready for the next chapter, instead he's putting on another rematch. What am I supposed to be excited about? Which Fozzy song will he come out to? Which cosplay he'll wear? What unimaginative expletive he'll come up with?

Jericho had a tremendous career, he was one of my favourite wrestlers when I became a fan, and that was 20 years ago. You know what else I was a fan of at the time? The Simpsons, and I stopped caring about it ages ago too.

You pretty much just described all wrestlers with any gimmick having any feud and then acted like it was boring.

Also, you just got in Emperor's black book for hating on The Simpsons.

Classic Simpsons is right up there as one of the best shows of all-time.

Modern Simpsons? Not so much. I guess it's been better in recent years, but it's still difficult to get excited.

Just like Jericho, really.

I didn't, but even if that was the case, then if Jericho was just like all the other wrestlers, why would I tune in because of him?
