Either way, there's potential. Ring psychology is a whole different story but athletically Kiss is really good. That split ball buster is like Johnny Cage's from Mortal Kombat, good stuff.

Britt Baker is so damn good, absolutely hilarious. Her and Rebel are amazing. Commentators, Taz etc. could not stop using her as a point of reference for their promo/announcing, that's how good she is.

I love how they've incorporated the corona stuff into Britt's gimmick with the little string message line up to Tony and the encased Roles Royce. Not sure why Reba had a leaf blower though? :lol:

Shida actually felt like a strong champion for once. I know they are trying to help independent wrestling but their champions don't need to go 10+ minutes with all of them. So glad Shida got to squash someone.

I don't watch AEW as much anymore but I will say Britt character work is really good now. She really has found her place as a heel.If she gets decent in the ring I could actually see her as a face of the division now.

To be fair, JR did refer to him as a woman but sounded like he realized his mistake as he was saying.

I've been enjoying the allie/brandie/nightmare family story on fark the last few weeks. It ain't much, but there's slowly things building.

Really liked Shida vs Ford, I don't think the stuff with Kip near the end was necessary but Penelope came out of the match looking really good even though she lost. Hikaru really is the in-ring mvp of the division.

Penelope countering Hikaru's missile dropkick with the Matrix was pretty awesome! Lot of really good near falls in that match.

Rache Chanel probably wasn't the ideal opponent for Big Swole because she is very green, and Swole isn't experienced enough herself to handle that as the match proved - but I did quite like her character. She needs a lot more seasoning before she should be on TV though.

That match could have been titled the grass is always greener on the other side. I know the move is a little hit or miss on how good it looks but I like Dirty Dancing as a finisher. Not sure why it wasn't the end.

Really curious who manages Nyla Rose. Head says Vickie Guerrero given she has appeared a bunch for AEW and seems close with Rose on social media but wonder where they go. I think AEW is falling under having wayyyyyyyyyyyy too many managers to the point where there are too many personalities to figure out in just a 2 hour show a week.

I'm gonna guess Madusa. But I also heard a guess that it could also be Angelina Love.

Blindy, there's nothing wrong with having a mentor. AEW should sponsor big brothers and big sisters. They clearly understand role models go a long way in helping people develop.

Having 'too many personalities' is a weird take imo. Seems to me they're working hard to develop personalities, and most people seem unique to me. People hang out with their pals/groups in real life, why wouldn't they in wrestling. Factions and groups make things great.

If it's like 3 or so managers in a promotion, that's fine but the appeal is lost when almost every other team or wrestler has a manager. Sort of tells the audience that a wrestler can't carry his or her own weight as a mic worker. I know they have a couple of managers as an alternative to WWE's lack there of but as I put up above, there's right now 8 maybe 9 managers/coaches/mentors, it's overkill IMO.

Having too many personalities thrown at you on 2(3 for AEW Dark) hours a week is overkill. 1-2 Factions are great, having Dark Order/The Nightmare Team/Inner Circle/The Elite is crazy for a brand new promotion. 

The dark tag was a snoozefest. Diamante is wasted as a heel, and Rache is really green and limited. Allie and Brandy are also kind of bland wrestlers so the combination was not a good one.

What happened to Abandon? She came in, scared me shitless and that was it?

Also no followup for Anna Jay & Dark Order? Think she can be a legit heel with them!

Don't try to follow the women's division in AEW to closely you will only end up hurting your head. See either Brandy or Allie backstory in AEW.

But if they haven't fully drop it the earliest they may continue it will probably be 8 days since they had 2/3 weeks of a ppvish type event.

As good as the action can be in the division, Kenny must have a case of ADD when it comes to booking storylines.

I don't get it, there's like 5 women consistently booked(Baker, Swole, Nyla, Shida, Ford) with the occasion newcomer(Riho, Allie, Brandi if she counts as a wrestler) since Statlander went down. There was this Japanese carpet girl that the fans loved that has vanished from the TV, Anna Jay who they hyped up immensely as the next big thing, Abandon with her intro that shocked the world. I know they only have 2 hours but like....

They're advertising another Brandi & Allie match for Dynamite tomorrow so it looks like I'll be giving them a wide berth this week. No bueno.
