Got to agree that Vickie has completely killed the interest that I had in Nyla. She felt fresh and different but that's largely disappeared under Vickie's played out act. There isn't really another option for Shida to face though.

Was thinking the same thing. It was random and there hasn't been any mention of her or Diamante since their tag tournament win. They could have done a DQ in the Shida vs. Rosa. Beat them in a tag match. Then had each one of them chase a title.

I am glad most of the comments on twitter about this is how they need to update the women's title. Shida looks just fine holding a normal size wrestling title. And the women's title is the size as one of Cody's weight belts.

Never really thought about it because there have been so many other issues with the women's division, but it does look silly. The NWA Women's title is smaller than most modern belts but doesn't look like a toy. AEW's reminds me of the 80s era WWF Women's Title. I wonder if that was what it was modelled on, and if so, who thought that was a good idea.

I guess at least it's better than that god awful TNT belt.

What the status on thunder rosa, is she signed? Good match with her and ivelisse. Tag match with her against ivelisse/diamente should be good

She is the Austin Aries of women's wrestling. Great talent, awful attitude. 

Rosa vs Ivelisse was an odd match.

They clearly weren't on the same page and not cooperating at all. No idea if they just don't like each other and wrestled that way from the start, or if something happened in the match that triggered it. Seems more like Thunder Rosa was trying to have a good match, but Ivelisse was barely selling anything and just randomly forced her own spots. Became a semi-shoot fight. Rosa kinda stopped selling too.

Ivelisse has been around forever and I've not seen a single good match from her.

It's a shame Ivelisse is a headcase and can't get out of her own way because she obviously has a lot of talent. But she has a track record for this across multiple promotions, in addition to more unsavoury behaviour out of the ring. Just sitting down in the ring with a bored look on her face was highly unprofessional - if I were running things she wouldn't be booked again.

AEW is ok with Ivelisse drama but don't want to give Tessa a chance. At least with Tessa you would get a few good matches before some incident happens.

Interesting report out there today that she's been doing some training alongside Dustin with some of the women in the division. 

FCW legend Serena Mancini is back to take over Orlando - she's signed a contract with AEW.

Really fun technical match between Serena and Kilyn . I think this was Kilyn's bets match in AEW to date. You can just see how much being able to work with Serena will benefit AEW's greener talents.

Honestly with performances like these one wonders why WWE kept Serna in a trainer position. She's really good and has all the tools one would want.

Now Sarah needs to make a comeback and make the WWE look foolish also.!

I was all ready to go with my "Serena is so fundamentally sound" post before Veda used the line on commentary. She has a control and command in the ring that definitely sets her apart from most in the division.

Now they have found someone with the in-ring quality required to elevate their less experienced in house women, they need to instantly book her in a proper feud/storyline with Britt or Penelope. Time to get some momentum in this division!

Women's match on late night dynamite was pretty good. Anna Jay completely dominated Brandi with a completely clean win with zero interference. Choked that bitch out.

Some fun camera angles in the corner, which let is get a closer look at facial expressions. Really appreciated the little bits that sold the story of this match. Brandi came in hot looking for revenge and dominated. Anna Jay is growing into her character in the dark order; borderline psychotic screams as she does the queen slayer choke. Good match. Yeah, not a technical masterpiece, but an enjoyable watch.

Sonny Kiss is hella entertaining, again I know she is very choreographed and her punches and kicks look weak but she has easily the most charisma in the women's division and I keep seeing her just excited to watch more.

Here is a picture of the AEW heels page. It is focused are the women in the company, but Sonny isn't shown here. I am sure he is welcome to join the site, but he will be more like a female identifying fan on the website instead of the female members of the roster.

I read that Jade Cargill was in the crowd tonight for Dynamite and that she's been training at the Nightmare Factory. I was disappointed that she didn't get signed after her WWE tryouts so am glad to see she's stuck with it. She basically instantly becomes the hottest woman in wrestling - hope to see her on Dark soon!

That picture has Bea Priestley on it, thus it is outdated. And Sonny said that 2 years ago, on her bio it says SHE/HE. I was just giving Kiss some props, Sonny isn't a finished product and a lot of the fundamentals stink but there is charisma there. If she isn't allowed to be discussed in this thread, I will bring it to the male section of the forum. Nyla Rose was talked about here so I thought it would be ok to talk about Kiss here(And I am not trying to be that guy in regards to Rose, she is one of the best talents in the division and identifies herself as a female so there's no argument)

To me it has more to do with the divisions they wrestle in than stumbling over what pronoun to use. Sonny Kiss wrestles men in men's divisions. Rose wrestles women in the women's division. It makes sense to discuss Rose here. Discussing Kiss makes no sense as she doesn't interact with anyone in the division.

Could be due to last week but for a company that focused on tag team wrestling they are doing the same bad booking of tag teams.

When two people who have been tagging for a while should be able to beat two people who have never tagged.

Normally I would agree with you, but considering the two singles stars, are the top two women in both of their respective divisions, I'm willing to cut some slack.

Alex getting so little offense vs Penelope was very strange and disappointing. The little she did get to do looked good however, she moves around the ring really well.

Conti vs Red Velvet was fun even if the transition into the finish was a little awkward. I think it's a positive that Taynara was able to have a solid performance against a talent who is still pretty green.

Fairly bizarre that Alex got to do so little - she literally didn't even get a move in on Penelope!

I liked Taynara vs Velvet quite a lot. Conti is really leaning in on her judo which I think is great, I wonder if she was being limited with it in WWE and that was why her whole presentation always felt so disjointed and uninteresting. She had good chemistry with Red Velvet, they were able to match each other's speed, and put on an entertaining match. Anna turning Tay into a heel is a nice storyline.

Tay feels so refresshed in aew. Lovr her judo focus. Comparing tay here to nxt is an example for the othrr thread of why women feel meaningless in wwe, everyone is generic and the same. Here, tay is leaning into her strengths and its great


Anna was great after, and it seems like maybe well get a tag match out of this too. Good stuff

Now Allie is randomly gone from the Natural Nightmares. But on the plus side so is lil' Bran Bran.

Alex has a unique look and didn't look like a jobber. Even though she definitely did get jobbed out.

Tay Conti had a short entertaining match. Now it would have been nice if they could cut one of Dynamite's 20 minute matches in half and put it there instead.

And just remember Rache Chanel got more offense on the number 1 contender then someone people were saying is someone to look out for against the number 4 contender.

Pretty nice return match, for Britt tonight. A lot of that has to do with how well Red Velvet bumped and sold for her. Velvet should be signed if she isn't already, she seems like a really solid prospect who is already good enough to contribute on TV.
