I've seen a few crowd reports saying the Hogan/Shida match was very good

Wouldn't be a surprise - Kiera has only gotten better and better during her time in Impact, she's really ready for a bigger audience now.

Jamie's (re)debut was a bit awkward because it was a big spot to put someone no one really remembered or recognised - especially considering she looks like a completely different person from the last time she was in AEW. Her presence should be a real positive in the Britt vs Kris feud though as we get a bit more of a storyline driven build up to All Out in a few weeks.

Kiera vs Shida was far too short. But that's par for the course for women's matches on dark, quantity over quality

Couple of good new moves tonight, Shida's swinging front facelock into a DDT and Jade's Black Hole Flatliner (not perfect but goddamn!) - great to see the women innovating even in these short matches.

Only two small complaints from me but they aren't really about the match just some presentation things. The commentary team sucks the life out of the match on elevation. And Shida needs to drop that attire. The match was enjoyable for what it was. They made Kiera look pretty nice. I hope they sign her and give her some time to talk. Now I am really said they didn't let Fire and Flava come in through the forbidden door as tag champions.

And I still find it odd that Diamante has been doing shows for nearly two years and still hasn't officially signed with the company.

That should be another fun match. I know it won't happen but I might give Kiera a distraction win. But they aren't going to end Kris streak on dark.

Oh yeah, I'm looking forward to Hogan/Starland, that should be a good match. I'm not really sure about the other three women's matches on Dark, as they don't really interest me at all.

I thought that Masha Slomovich was pretty impressive you can tell she's had some time in Japan.

Yeah she definitely was a better looking dark jobber than normal. Penelope looked better than usual in that match. 

I was just about to come in here and post the same thing - her fundamentals looked very solid. That bridging half and half suplex was sweet.

I legit lol'ed at Rosa on commentary going "we had a 25 minute match and it was...interesting".

Rosa vs Penelope booked as the follow up to that for Dynamite.

They're all exactly the same - Britt, Penelope and Diamante beating down their fallen opponents after a match - but at least they are starting to build in a little bit more post-match storyline action for the women rather than having matches just because.

Yeah, I just saw that on reddit, should be an alright match, it's just good to see Thunder Rosa getting another match on Dynamite.

Seeing Kiera Hogan in AEW, makes me wish they did more with the women, as far as the forbidden door is concerned. I absolutely would have loved for Fire 'N Flava to have shown up and defended the tag titles against Anna Jay and Tay Conti.

I honestly had no idea she was out injured, I don't usually watch Elevation or Dark, unless there's a match that catches my interest, so I just assumed she was working those shows.

Even though I like both Kris vs. Kiera there match wasn't as good. The ending was just kind of sudden and not in an out of nowhere type of way. I think it also showed Kiera few steps above Kris. I hope Kiera vs. Tay may happen soon.

I think Kris is quite similar to Penelope and Nyla - all three have their moments of impressive athleticism and delivering moves that look great but usually mix in a couple of sloppy/awkward moments. I also don't think she's got much of a handle on telling a story or making a match flow as you allude to with your second sentence there X-zero.

They obviously like Kiera hence putting her in the big match with Jade tomorrow night. Kiera vs Rosa is really the match I'm looking forward to most, Kiera had the best chemistry with Jordynne in Impact who's a similar heavy hitter type.

So that Jade vs Kiera match was absolutely nothing. It feels like 75% of women matches in AEW are enhancement matches of some sort and I'm getting bored.

Hogan deserved better. They lost time due to CM Punk's speech. No reason OMGISTHATPRIVATEPARTY should get more time than either one of these ladies.

I'd accept that excuse if this wasn't a recurring pattern with the women in AEW. The women hardly ever get adequate time for their matches/segments especially if their name isn't Britt Baker. 

Also  Jade really needs to start having competitive/longer matches so she can learn more than just hitting her spots. 

Jade Cargill absolutely needs to be made the #1 contender after All Out.

While tangential to AEW, Maki Itoh is on a team with Onita in an Electric Current Explosion match later this morning o.O

They are which is why so many are undefeated or near undefeated.

I wonder if we’ll ever see AJ Lee in AEW with everything going on right now.

All signs point to AJ being retired for good. She is busy with a lot of other things Punk said.

They're doing the Casino Battle Royal again on the All Out pre show. Defending winner Nyla is the first entrant.

The 2019 match was a bit of a disaster piece really, but there are some intriguing names that might make an appearance this time around. We're expecting Ruby to show up at some stage and she'd have to be the favourite to be the Joker, Mercedes was the joker last time and could be in it again, and Anna Jay is just entering the earliest timeframe for a return from her injury.
