There's a much easier solution than that.
No more Mario games. We've had enough.

No Mario games would be the death of DIS BUSINESS. Exactly. Mario is the face of video gaming. Those hacks like Crash, Spyro, and Sonic couldn't cut it.

Other than the blades is there a point to using Mega Man weapons sides boss weaknesses? And even then some are barely better than mega buster... and EVEN THEN the necessary way of using them means you might as well use the lemons.

Other than the blades is there a point to using Mega Man weapons sides boss weaknesses? And even then some are barely better than mega buster... and EVEN THEN the necessary way of using them means you might as well use the lemons. They clean house on bosses rather fast which is big given most if not all Mega Mans have a boss rush right before Wily/Sigma. Also some like Flash Man's will save your ass on Quick Man's level, it's to the point that you use up the ammo on the instant death lazers and go mega buster on Quick Man. Otherwise, unless you've played MM2 ALOT, you will either die from the lazers or frame perfect dodge them with no real margin of error. Also a lot of the Wily enemies(See Yellow Devil or the Robotic Dragon) are weak to 1-2 of the side boss weapons and given the frustration of those bosses, you take any advantage you can get.

Was gonna wait until the VG Monthly-September thread but this Starfield review embargo is about to drop, this is going to be huge. Legit Microsoft has so much riding on Bethesda hitting a home run with this game. This game may either be fantastic or just alright. 12PM EST is when shit hits the fan, going to be insane. After how bad Redfall fell apart, MS needs Starfield to hit the goods.
(I hate feeding scores on reviews but it's the trendy thing)
Bunch of places giving 4's and 5's but Gamespot and IGN giving it 7/10 which means "It's alright, nothing too great". I don't want to read the reviews so I may watch for impressions but I think the expectation is way too big and/or unfair to Bethesda to deliver on something that can save Microsoft's 1st party efforts over the past 2-3 years.

It sounds like it's plagued with all the usual open world issues where they create these massive worlds but it's lacking detail and it can get boring to explore. It's also filled with bugs and glitches and it takes hours for it to really open up.
Was there any reason to be anymore excited over this than say No More Skies? I haven't been following it beyond it being a Microsoft IP that they desperately needed to be successful.

Bethesda has a bigger track record with the Elder Scrolls & Fallout games vs Sean Murray being a small Indie maker tackling No Man's Sky so the former has a much bigger ceiling to reach. That and Microsoft marketing this game as the big seller after they haven't really provided much as far as big 1st party IPs so since the launch of the Series S & X. Saw this stumble on my feed, wish I can credit the reviewer who put this(There's been so many) but the blemishes being the story and exploration when that's like half of the appeal of this game is offputting. It's only 1 review mind you but seems like this is sort of the theme going around amongst the chatter of these reviews which is a letdown since that is meant to be Bethesda's bread & butter. Wonder if this game was sort of rushed to arrive and could not be baked in the oven a little bit more, especially when it's a launch 30 FPS on consoles(And the stuttering issues even on the Series X which is meant to be the high power console of the 2).

It's kinda interesting how each Sega console did well in random countries. Mega Drive in Europe. Genesis was good in the states and canada I assume? Saturn was japan. Could you relate them to a B level mainstream fed like say TNA and lesser extent AEW? Like on paper it's indy at best but it's fucking HANGING bro. Eventually the music stops but they really had no right to be as big as they were since it didn't have the full support of the fans in response to the evil empire. That "edge" is what kept them different, the element TNA was afraid to embrace. When it finally came together with the Dreamcast, it was too late. They billy gram'd us and were too soon for the tech. Right when everyone was watching and ready. Cartman SEGA DREEEEEEEEEEEEEEMKAST. Fumbled and they aren't even an indy now, just a wrestle factory. Imagine using the term "chikarmy" but totally serious.
We NEEDS a Dark Side of the Joystick series STAT.

You know the idle animation characters do? Don't you feel you gotta earn the right to do that? Like if this is your first game and you're not super charismatic or full of personality it's a little... off to act impatient. Like you gotta be "over" before you can get cocky like that.

Playstation's State of Play just wrapped up. And it closes with a updated look at Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
It's coming out on February 29th. And it's gonna be the biggest Playstation game on record. As the game will come in TWO discs!
I think we might be talking about a 200 GB game here.

Nice. Between now and the new year, how many titles do you think you'll add to your 100+ collection, Lony? Not as much as I'd like. I picked up Super Mario Bros. Wonder last night (as I wanted to get grocery shopping, and making sure rent was put away first), as of now, I think the only other game I'll be getting is Super Mario RPG before the year is up ( Wife's birthday, plus Christmas gifts are going to be a top priority to me). I just did an extremely quick count though, and I believe I'm at 126 Switch games. Edit: I might try and squeeze in Sonic Superstars as well.

To be honest, that was just my round-a-bout way of asking what Switch games should I keep an eye out for.
126?! That's 15-20 more than I would have expected. With the Pokemon DLC due around the holidays, Wonder, RPG and Superstars would be an awesome way to get into the holiday vibes. When was the last time you played Mario RPG?

When was the last time you played Mario RPG? Getting back to this, the last time I played Super Mario RPG, was when the SNES Classic came out. Also, I stand corrected, I currently only have one hundred and twenty-four Switch games, not one hundred and twenty-six games. Every Switch game I got this year... 2023 Game Releases AEW Fight Forever Contra Anniversary Collection Detective Pikachu Returns Disney Illusion Island Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragon Final Fantasy I - VI Collection Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective Kirby’s Return to Dreamland Deluxe Metroid Prime Remastered Nuclear Blaze Sonic Origins Plus Super Bomberman R 2 Super Mario Bros. Wonder The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom
Released Prior to 2023 A Boy and His Blob (2021) Evergate (2020) G-Darius HD (2021) Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch (2019) Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom (2021) Pac-Man World Re-Pac (2022) Pocky & Rocky: Reshrined (2022) Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (2021) Skul: The Hero Slayer (2021) The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles (2021) Tiny Barbarian DX (2017) Tunic (2022) Games in bold, I would absolutely recommend checking out. Although, I didn't bold TOTK (as I know you have it), or Super Mario Bros. Wonder (as I haven't played through it all yet). Honestly, out of all the Switch games I picked up this year, AEW Fight Forever was the biggest disappointment so far, I mean it's not bad but definitely my least favorite pickup. Also, I'm gonna quote you, from Emperor's, thread... And say that both Kirby and the Forgotten Land, as well as Luigi's Mansion 3, are worth picking up. ARMS is a decent enough fighter, and I would totally pick up a sequel, but I don't know if it's something I would pick up in 2023. Now if we're talking upcoming games, I'm interested in... Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney Trilogy Cat Quest III Contra: Operation Galuga Gex Trilogy Luigi's Mansion 2 HD Mario vs. Donkey Kong Metroid Prime 4 Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door Penny's Big Breakaway Princess Peach: Showtime! Hollow Knight: Silksong Super Mario RPG

Welcome to the club. You're playing the original or the remake? Remake. I thought, since Rebirth was gonna be fashioned off the remake, that I'd play that version. It's been very good so far. I like the battle system. You're experiencing the greatest video game of all time, the polished new version. The turn-based battle system of the original Final Fantasy 7 is regrettably a relic of the past. But the remake does a great job with the real time battling.
