I don't get why people make such a fuss about how people leave the toilet seat. I guess I'll be more specific - females complaining about males leaving the toilet seat up, because in my experience this is the only situation in which this happens. It takes less than a second and a tiny amount of physical effort to put the toilet seat down. The typical response is "if it's so easy, why don't you do it?". My response to that is "I could do it, but you can also do it without making a big fucking deal out of it like I forgot to take out the trash or clean the bathroom. It's easy, but sometimes I forget, and it's not difficult for you to correct the mistake". If the seat is down when you use my facilities(which it always is because that is our rule), it better be down when you exit my facilities, otherwise you can pee outside with my dogs. A toilet seat being up is like walking into a public urinal. I don't use a urinal so put the seat down!

I don't normally watch network news. I usually get all my news from friends on social media or google news. But when I am at the gym they have Fox News on. They report on what CNN is or isn't reporting on. I don't get it. You're a news network. Who care's what the other guy is doing. I feel it would be better off to just not even mention the other network like how WWE doesn't mention their competition. One is left wing, the other ring wing. Quite often, even watching it here in Australia, you'll notice the two networks present the same story, but of course from a completely different political bias. They often call each other out a little bit on it.

If youāre goig to be an extension of the Trump campaign and state television, you have to bolster the argument that the other media is biased against the President and subsequently not reporting good things about him.

A toilet seat being up is like walking into a public urinal. I don't use a urinal so put the seat down! This is exactly what I don't understand. If the seat is up, just walk in and put the seat down and do your business. Why make such a big deal out of it? You never hear about guys complaining about having to lift the seat, and telling their wives to "pee outside with the dogs" if they don't put the seat up when they're done.

As someone who is absent minded and has sat down on a toilet bowl with no seat, I donāt have a problem putting the seat down.

Women ALWAYS sit to use the restroom, so they automatically sit on the toilet. If the seat isn't down... they fall into the water. Hence the complaint. Yeah they should look, but [misogynistic remark has been removed]. Most guys have figured out the solution. If a lady complains about the seat being up, from that moment on he puts BOTH the seat and the lid down. Now she still has to do work, but can't complain because you put the seat down. Granted, it's muscle memory for me at this point to put the seat back down, but this idea is fucking genius. No clue why it's never occurred to me before.

Just piss with the seat down, it's still a big enough target. I imagine the guys who are responsible for all the piss on the floor in public toilets are terrible in bed.

It's all about responsibility for one's self. Let em fall in the bowl a few times and they'll learn.

Overusing AC in the summer and excess heat in the winter drives the bill up. That's probably why the people go insane. I guess outside of America that stuff is free. So a thermostat is just a reverse cycle AC? Iām not asking why people freak about the thermostat, just that Iāve never seen or used one in my life so the joke is lost on me. Agreed on leaving the toilet seat up, never heard anyone actually complain IRL though. I donāt understand much clumsiness in general.

The thermostat sets the desired temperature in a home, so subsequently either the heat or the AC runs to make sure that desired temperature is maintained against the elements.

And if your house is drafty, that winter gas bill can be a nightmare. I remember once I saw a bill at $250

My gas bill is normally ($220) $177.54 USD and i only really use gas for showering, I don't have a heater and hardly ever use my stove. So either gas is a lot cheaper in the US, or i'm being ripped off I don't get people saying Tattoos are a waste of money. Sure people may think they look unsightly and unprofessional.. but they last your entire life so i don't get that waste money logic. I waste money on CoD every year, knowing it will be outdated in a year, so you get much better value with a tattoo if you like them.

I meant I lived with one other person, not myself.
From my short trip to NYC, everything was cheaper except for medicine etc which was triple the price.

Where we really get bent over is video games. Most new releases are 99.99 and that's before you get into deluxe editions or any sort of extras.

Everything is more expensive here, but to be fair we have inflation derived from our minimum wage being $18 per hour vs $8 in the USA. Pretty much nobody makes as low as our minimum wage either. A double low income family is much better off in Australia.

That's usually the RRP, but usually if the game is big enough it will likely be $65-70 AUD upon release, which isn't bad when you factor in GST.
Also you're much better off ordering online. I've been able to get games for 50% off the retail price and games usually start at $60 AUD.

People that do no research when they randomly decide to go a country then complain about their negative experience because they didnāt know what to expect or the rules and regulations regarding travel atm.
Found a video of a solo female traveller randomly deciding to go to Egypt, misplaces half her documents on arrival and wonders why itās such a headache, complains about how many Covid tests she has to take then complained about getting stared at when she was walking around in a tank top and shorts. Not saying that itās right for her to be expected to cover up but thatās the expectation there.
Reviews of Fiji: I went to Fiji during cyclone season,I canāt believe there was a cyclone and we lost power. 1 star
Same with when people go through airport security with tonnes of jewellery on and shoes that take forever to remove.

Maybe I feel this way because I don't own a car but...
People overreact way too much to getting a scratch on their car. They rage, they cry, they are willing to fork out a lot of cash to get it scrubbed up. I feel this reaction is way disproportionate compared to getting a scratch or a mark on basically anything else they own.
