Took my 4 year old neice to her very first football game tonight(high school game here in town). I thought she would get bored quick and we would leave early but she had an absolute blast and did not want to leave until the game was over.

Spectacular night watching the sun set talking football with my littles. She's going to know more about the game than the boys her age. My goal is to make her like Icebox from Little Giants. :lol: She wants to go see JJ Watt next. I'm eyeing that December 3rd game against the Patriots, that's going to be the one.

Been a while since I've been to a high school game. Same head coach runs the team that did when I covered them for the newspaper in 2011-2012 and he still runs the exact same offense, I forgot how much fun it was to watch live, just pure football.

But man so many guys walking around with guns strapped to their hips, I was really surprised how many. It's like get the fuck out of here with that bullshit.

I enjoyed the Packers/Bears game. I'm not sure I'd want a Superbowl like that but I have no issue with a defense-dominated game.

Packers will have a good season I think. Pass rush looked amazing, they did a great job against the run, and the secondary was pretty phenomenal too although Trubisky did have his chances. Once the offense improves, they'll be legit. That was a quarterback that was ice-cold having played no pre-season football with his new coach. It'll get better.

I'm willing to let Trubisky lean on that also, but it's a fucking enormous game for him next week against a Broncos defensive line that will be looking to scare the pants off him. It's not like he has to become Mahomes. Just tidy up his nonsense and make some big, unconventional plays. That's what he is and all he needs to be on a team with a sensational defense. Seriously, how many play-makers do they have? Roy Robertson-Harris looked like a monster in the first portion of this game, he's another you can add to the list. Scary, scary defense.

Now he posted a video of a private convo with him and Gruden. This dude lost his mind. Honestly, maybe he didn’t. Maybe he’s just always been a POS diva.

That video was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. Looks like some Sopranos ending scene with the black and white picture and overdramatic cuts and music. I began laughing when Brown responded back to Gruden trying to pep talk him, Gruden sounded like his MNF self. The cuts of him being a loving husband and father when he was responding like he's showing the world he's a great humanitarian was so over the top and hilarious.

I have to think ESPN is paying Gruden and Brown millions to have this story explode the way it did because Broncos and Raiders will easily be the most watched game on the doubleheader history of MNF since they've been doing this. A case can be made that this game is more highly coveted than Texans vs Saints even though those two teams will probably be in a shootout and may be playing January football games when it is all said and done. This is way too convient for it not to happen like this.

You don't know how many people I would kill to have seen ORaider27s response to Antonio Brown. Keep in mind i faught with him for years over Randy Moss.

Well I don’t work in a dangerous environment and no one guaranteed to pay me 30 million, so I’m not sure that me doing it to my employer is really a good example. Sports business and the real world aren’t particularly similar.

Now imagine you missed work one day, your boss fined you five figures, and your agent let you know that because they’re enforcing the fine your boss can now take away the 30 million dollars they promised to pay you months ago. I cannot imagine you just smiling at the boss and showing up to work the next day.

I’d rather gamble that Brown will be picked up by someone else than take Latavius Murray.

Obviously, I'm joking on the Latavius Murray thing. We both know Latavius > AB right now.

BUT....

Yeah, I can see this on both ends. Both sides are right in their actions, but both could also be looked at as wrong.
