Apparently Jets are trying to trade Bell. Crazy. What team out there wants to take on that contract? Any potential interested teams had a chance to sign him this year and didn’t so I don’t know why that would change now. That’s pretty crazy though.

I agree. I’ll be stunned if someone makes the trade. I just find it wild that Gase is going full on “this is MY team now!” mode as if the fault of the Jets record is McGannan or whatever his name was.

You have to see where the source is coming from. Manish Mehta routinely stirs the pot and is the lone Jet beat writer saying this. Others have said other teams are calling the Jets to see if they'd bite, much like with the Hopkins inquiries that an actual reputable source like Jay Glazer said a week ago.
Manish Mehta is a hack and a known clown amongst Jet fans, why the national public continues to emphasize whatever he says is beyond me.

Andy Dalton has officially been benched in Cincy for Finley. They benched him on his birthday though which is rude!
Nothing else big happened. Jets were being a bunch of cockteases. Nobody wanted Bell. Dallas wanted Adams but the Jets wanted too much for him. And apparently the Packers were interested in Robbie Anderson but only offered a 4th and the Jets wanted a 2nd.

There were rumblings around here of AJ Green to the Saints but that obviously didn’t happen. I am confident in the Saints roster going forward but having a Michael Thomas/AJ Green WR duo would have been awesome.
