Cowboys doing some pretty stupid shit on special teams here. They lost about 20 yards of field position on that punting debacle earlier when they got confused that the Patriots didn't have a returner, and then they very nearly fuck up the kickoff return there.

The Cowboys still would have had to go about 60 yards and they've struggled all game to move the ball so handed is too strong - but it was a complete BS call. There's nothing worse than the refs getting involved in key moments like that calling something completely bogus.

I’m not reading back through the thread but did anyone see that they finally overturned a PI call and it was AGAINST THE SAINTS? They’re just fucking with us now.

Oh, I'm not saying the Cowboys would have won, just that they should have been able to determine that.

They were objectively in a position to lose, there is no argument that team with a 4 point lead is not in a position to lose, doesn't matter what happened the rest of the game, Pats weren't doing anything most of the game either until their sole TD. Cowboys were moving the ball more and more at the end, Pats D were faltering, and were bailed out. Fine, they didn't hand it to them, just ensured that they didn't have to actually earn it, better? Sucks to see the game given rather than taken.

The call was terrible and everyone said so. And it was the difference between a first down and 3rd and 11. There’s no telling if the Cowboys would have managed to get a TD but now we’ll never know because the refs fucking suck and you can’t challenge that shit for some stupid reason even though every single play is replayed twice both on TV and in the stadium before the next play.
