You did good picking Deebo @the Kid. Yeah but not a good job going with Guice over Gage. And not a good job since Jacobs/Waller shit the bed AND I faced off against Landry and Winston. So basically I’m down 48 with Deebo, Adams and Tucker left against Greg the Leg and Mark Andrews. In other words? I’m fucked.

10/20 for 41 yards. YIKES. 49ers have made the Packers humble here. Love Shanahan not settling and pushing for more points on that final possession. They and we both. The Packers are killing themselves with drops and miscommunications too. Just drive killers.

I don’t remember him dropping this much when Brees was throwing to him. Just sayin. Before he ate and got lazy and shitty. He can fuck right off back to New Orleans. Yeah I’m just fuckin with ya. Same thing happened to what’s his face. McCoy. He was good for Buffalo for like a year then fumbled every carry until they finally got rid of him. Now he fumbles in Cleveland or SF or wherever he plays now.

Our blessed special teams. Ha. If only we didn’t trade one of the beat returners IMO Trevor Davis to Oakland for peanuts.

Why not let Adams beat his man in short area , he has probably the best release in the NFL. I hate that fucking play.

Bit of an evener-upper there for that penalty on Sherman.
49ers just need to chew up a bit of clock here and hold the ball for a while.

Or just score a long TD.
Kittle is such a boss. Dude has a broken bone in his foot and he's still out there ripping it.

At least Dak had the rain as an excuse earlier, Rodgers is firmly in the Gabbert Zone here. 33 attempts for 104 yards!

I’ve seen like a dozen times today Quarterbacks taking sacks on 4th down. What the fuck are these guys doing? You have nothing to lose - get rid of the ball.

Also it’s on the play call too. I mean you see the blitz coming - get the ball out.

The 49ers really showed how much better then the Packers they are today. Say what you want as an excuse but this D is good enough to go to the SB.
The head of the wild NFC class is NO and SF.

Definitely not suggesting it's his fault, but I expected a least a little bit more offence in the second half.
The 49ers defence is just that good though. Kyler Murray is the only quarterback to have played remotely well against them.

The game was over from the beginning and played to the 49ers strength. Fumbling the opening drive on the 2 yard line is like a 2x turnover and just crushed the Packers and put the crowd and momentum up to 10 for the 49ers. Plus they are a great team , you can’t play as bad as the Packers did today and expect to even compete against a Super Bowl contender. I don’t think the score indicates the 49ers are that much better , they whooped our ass and we deserved it but I ain’t afraid to play them again. Defintely wouldn’t be if it were somehow going to be in Lambeau.

I'm surprised you are that optimistic honestly. Packers have a super soft schedule so they will make the playoffs but based on how little their offence has showed up in recent weeks, combined with the fact that their early season defensive improvement has evaporated I really don't see them as a genuine contender.

The 49ers are winning the Super Bowl this year if their defence keeps playing like this.
The game might end 9-6 if Garoppolo doesnt show up but still they’d win.

The Packers will probably stay where they are in the standings and unless something unforeseen happens they’ll play Minnesota. I admittedly haven’t seen a lot from Minnesota this year but I wouldn’t be surprised if Rodgers tore them apart and we get Brees vs Rodgers in the NFC semis.

Packers have a super soft schedule so they will make the playoffs but based on how little their offence has showed up in recent weeks, combined with the fact that their early season defensive improvement has evaporated I really don't see them as a genuine contender. It is what it is , teams go through ups and downs and we've shown the flashes capable of getting hot on both side of the ball. It reminds me a ton of the 2010 season only we *most likely* aren't going to be a 9-7 wild card team. Time and time again the Super Bowl is won by teams who get hot at the end and I think we are capable of beating anyone if that happens. I just think it's silly to look at last nights game where everything went wrong from the opening drive as an indicator where the Packers stand in the hierarchy of the NFC and I'm not going to instantly react to it as if it's all gloom and doom. I would love to play the 49ers again , I think if a few plays and bounces go differently that's an entirely different game. Plus as you said , we have an easy schedule going forward and could get a few home games and that's a different story as well. I still love our running game if we are able to jump out early and the defense can rush the passer and create turnovers - which is more than we've had in the past. I wouldn't make them the odds on favorites but we can still easily get the 2nd or 3rd seed and then it will be interesting. Also the Saints got demolished by the 1-7 Falcons in a similar type game to last night and played the Panthers down to the wire like the Packers just did. It's not like they haven't had their moments of being up and down either. They are both capable of being beat and beating down on anyone.

If we still had Teddy starting, we’d be unstoppable.
I agree with UT’s overall point, I still think the NFC is wide open come playoff time. I can see all of the top NFC teams representing the conference in the Super Bowl except for Dallas. SF, GB, NO, SEA, and even MIN all have legitimate shots this year. This some make for some exciting games come playoff time.

Plus yeah , it would have been easy to make the same hot takes and points when the Saints got crushed by the Falcons but it would have been silly. I'd take last nights loss over that one. Agree though , I think there are a ton of contenders in the NFC. I'm still on the fence on Minnesota because I really don't trust Cousins when the lights shine brightest and their defense isn't going to carry them anymore but they could still get hot and make it tough on anyone. I know that if Minny makes the playoffs they are the last team I'd want to face because division opponents are the toughest out.

It’s not about hot takes. The Saints lost to the Falcons in a division game where the Falcons were playing for their HC and was easily a game that could be called a trap game.
The Packers were playing the 49ers with the #1 seed in the NFC on the line and they got absolutely demolished. If they play a rematch, it’s going to be the Niners winning again. That Niners D is too good for Rodgers to dissect because he doesn’t have the time. Maybe the Niners don’t get the two big scoring plays but the Packers would still lose by a TD.

Fucking get real with that shit.
The Falcons were 1-7 and the 49ers were 9-1. I don’t give a flying shit about narrative and Quinn.
Also the Saints were at home. Last night was on the road.
Narrative hot take talking head bullshit tries to even make the Saints loss look like the better of the two.
