Fucking get real with that shit. The Falcons were 1-7 and the 49ers were 9-1. I don’t give a flying shit about narrative and Quinn. Also the Saints were at home. Last night was on the road. Narrative hot take talking head bullshit tries to even make the Saints loss look like the better of the two. The more comparable loss to the Saints/Falcons one would be the GB loss to the Chargers not the Niners. There’s zero excuse for the Saints to get dominated at home against a 1-7 rival. They overlooked their opponent and got whipped on. I don’t think they will let it happen again.

That would be the better comp for sure , but I do wonder why The Flower struggles with the West Coast travel and getting the team up for it. Either way it’s easy to make the argument for the Saints being better off but both teams have terrible losses , both teams offenses have failed to show up and the defenses have been up and down at times. One less or one win does not ever make or break a season. Last night we shit the bed on national television. Won’t be the first or last time - but watching every snap this team has played this season I have faith we are capable of playing with anyone - including the 49ers.

Yeah basically GB got dominated by the Chargers too so that’s their sleeper comparison.
The Niners straight up smashed Green Bay and would do so again “if” they meet in the playoffs and only way that happens is a 2 vs 3 match up because Green Bay is not getting past New Orleans either in a 2 vs 3 match up.

Yada yada yada blah blah blah. Why? Tell me how the Packers are beating SF or New Orleans this season. Aaron Rodgers can only do so much. Their O-Line got owned. Adams is the only one who can catch anything. Their D isn’t who we thought they were and have been exposed as of late. They can’t stop the run. These are all reasons why GB is a tier below the Saints and 49ers. Stephen A Smith said something I agreed with today and that’s the Packers are soft. Which they absolutely are.

You’re hot take idols opinion on the Packers doesn’t mean shit to me. Stephen Smith is fucking trash in every sense of the word. And again you’re talking about ONE GAME. You change your mind with the direction of the win with about a dozen different teams. You can’t just take things that happen in a single week as gospel.

Your Packers got exposed as pretenders. Plain and simple. A bunch of soft undercooked pancakes.

I’m very pumped up to see how Lamar Jackson performs against this Rams D. I got the Ravens winning, but would not at all be surprised if the Rams come in here and hit Baltimore with a reality check.
This is a very exciting MNF game between two great teams. Let’s see how this shit goes.

Blah. I was hoping this would be a close game. I know the Ravens are steamrolling people right now but what the hell happened to the Rams this year?

Blah. I was hoping this would be a close game. I know the Ravens are steamrolling people right now but what the hell happened to the Rams this year? Bit of a mix of the o-line taking a step backwards from elite to just average, combined with a defensive recipe to slow them down (a six man front to stop runs to the edge) being out there for everyone to use.

This has been an absolute savaging. Ravens four possessions: 9 plays, 55 yards, TD 7 plays, 61 yards, TD 8 plays, 75 yards, TD 7 plays, 60 yards, TD
Lamar has zero incompletions and 3 TD passes.

Back to back Primetime nights with what looks like a great match up on paper become dismantling of pretenders. The Rams are out of the playoffs and it happened fast.
The Ravens are going to the Super Bowl, for sure. They’ll probably have to get through Mahomes and Brady to get there though.

Why exactly is your incredibly high paid running back with arthritic knees and can barely practice fully still on the field down by 39? Fuck off Rams.

My boys up 5.2 points right now facing Kupp with 2 minutes to go in a PPR league. He can’t believe Kupp is still in the game. He’s freaking out. I screen shotted this shit just in case Kupp pulls it off.

The Ravens are the most fun team to watch since I started watching this sport. Hope they go all the way if my Texans don't (spoiler - they won't).
The Jalen Ramsey trade and Jared Goff contract look like two of the worst front office decisions in years.

After the playoffs last season I was pretty reluctant to buy into the Lamar Jackson hype. This lasted until the Pats game. This guy has proven me wrong he is so fun to watch.

The Jalen Ramsey trade and Jared Goff contract look like two of the worst front office decisions in years. It was fun that they went all in, and it nearly got them a Super Bowl, but we're seeing why teams are not that cavalier: They're about to enter salary cap hell with a lot of starters set to hit free agency and they don't have a first round draft pick until 2022.

The Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL did something similar last season. They had 2 major high profile unrestricted free agents coming up at the end of the year, and it was a foregone conclusion that they were leaving to sign elsewhere even though Columbus had the money to re-sign them. They just didn’t want to play there. So they said “fuck it” and traded away all their picks for a third high profile unrestricted free agent they had no chance of re-signing and tried to get a Cup.
They swept the 1st place Tampa Bay Lightning in Round 1 of the playoffs and everyone was like “these maniacs are going to pull it off,” but then they lost in Round 2.
All the UFAs signed huge deals elsewhere. Now Columbus sucks and has no draft picks.
