I've never been the biggest Brees fan because he is a hypocrite and gave the NFL veterans who fought for compensation with the new CTE studies of ones that are crippled, can't think straight and have lifelong illnesses from the game a hard time and said they were being greedy AKA he is protecting his own as an active player. If he was, he would have left a city he wasn't even born in (New Orleans) out to rot post Hurricane Katrina but he instead took care of the effected with his family and help build the city back up again. I feel bad for him, he had the feel good story of being a mental health advocate and he had vomiting, panic attacks during or prior to games, imagine how great he'd be without any of that? Awful injury. Makes me think Philly gets Peters signed asap even if he is a tackle, just for stability sake.

Yes, no impact on the draft - I was just being flippant.

It's the second time he's torn his Achilles too, and this one is the other side to when it happened in the playoffs two seasons ago. I agree this probably increases the likelihood they'll sign Peters, and everyone's connecting the dots to Larry Warford as well.

I'm way late on this, but I still don't know how I feel about the Packers drafting Jordan Love. Aaron Rodgers is an asshole, but he's our asshole... I feel like this is another Tom Brady situation waiting to blossom. Aaron's still got 3-5 years of good football left imo and we finally built a capable team around him. Well Joe Douglas signed and drafted some guys. Drafted Mekhi Becton & Cam Clarke, signed Connor McGovern, signed Greg Van Roten, and Noah Fant. Now whether this works, especially in a covid effected training camp remains to be seen when chemistry is key for an OLine to flourish but I appreciate that Douglas at least made an effort to try and fix the mess that is this OLine.

Samuel has the same type of fracture that Dez Bryant got back in 2015, the Cowboys rushed him back in a couple of months, and he was never the same player again, so this is no joke.

One of those examples of why stacking players in the draft can never really be a bad thing - they can slot Brandon Aiyuk straight in to replace him.

It’s also the same injury that Trent Taylor have when he bit injured during training camp last year and was out entire season due to numerous setbacks.

Big opportunity forBrandon Aiyuk and maybe Hurd too.  Deebo could return early part of the season or even ready by season opener hopefully they don’t rush him back of course 

Jamal Adams has asked for a trade and has apparently given this list of seven teams he would like to be dealt to: Ravens, Cowboys, Texans, Chiefs, Eagles, 49ers and Seahawks. Any chance BoB empties what is left in the draft pick locker and goes for it? They do have a pretty glaring need at safety.

He would make a huge difference but we don't have the draft capital. I could see a trade involving Kenny Stills or Will Fuller because WR is such a glaring need for the Jets and the Texans have options. My money would be on him going elsewhere. I would also say that while the Texans need a another safety, the need is much bigger at CB where they are crying out for a long corner that can play man coverage. The free safety Justin Reid is easily the best player in the secondary.

TL;DR - I'm up for it, but I'd be surprised.

Neither are young enough to make it worth the Jets while. Or well in Fuller's case healthy. Are either one that much better than Perriman because that's who the Jets have as a deep threat.

Texans also have to save the money for Watson after already paying Tunsil that mega deal along with whatever they're paying Watt.


Jamal Adams is such a good player but he's crazy to think that after 3 years he deserves to be the highest paid safety in the game and in essence be one of the highest paid defensive players in the game. Especially in a pandemic. Watson nor Mahomes has been paid and both are better. Guy is everybit as young as he is, he is too emotional and wears his heart on his sleeve. He was hurt because the Jets TALKED to other teams about him at the deadline.

His problem was he's yet to show he can handle being a backup from an emotional standpoint which is why the Jets went with Joseph Flacco who served his time the last 2 seasons to the younger superior QB talent.
