It's honestly terrifying how big (yet quiet) of a moment this one was. I always said that this photo and moment would be the picture perfect scenario for the CTE believers to continue talking about how dangerous the NFL is. It's a shame that such an excellent LB (college and NFL) will probably be remembered for this moreso then his actual playing career. He made the right choice, in my opinion and it has to be a heartbreaking one for him. But there is life after football and once he realizes that, he'll realize he made the right choice. Thanks for everything you gave to the sport, Luke. You got my respect!

The Giants are hiring Garrett to the be OC after all. I have mixed feelings but we’ll see. I feel more positive about Burton Burns coming from Alabama to be the RB coach.

I'll be curious to see what happens in free agency before I say draft target , if we don't resign Blake than MLB becomes a huge need yet again. Otherwise Bulaga could be gone as well - the dude is a warrior and been a heck of a player for years in Green Bay but it might be time to let him walk. He's always banged and his play has become really inconsistent.
Aside from that I'd love to see us get another receiver to take some pressure off Adams. A tight end that isn't Jimmy Graham (who's likely to be cut) and that's about it on offense.
Defensively we need some front line help alongside Clark. Lowry is a solid rotational player who flashes but I don't know if he is a full time starter. Lancaster is a lesser version of that and is solid depth. Getting some help here would shore up the running defense. Also getting a hybrid in the box type safety who could also play some nickle would help a ton. Raven Greene was this guy but was hurt all year and Redmond is fucking terrible.
The Packers go into the offseason with a solid nucleus to work around.
Names like Michael Pierce are great options. Or even taking a flier on a Leonard Williams is fine with me.
I wouldn't mind spending on someone like Conklin to replace Bulaga but that isn't likely. Or a Robby Anderson to stretch the field would be okay too.
Or just ignore receiver in Free Agency as this is one of the deepest receiver drafts in forever. Someone is going to fall.

I don't want to pollute our coaching ranks with Cowgirl filth. Especially filth that has been the face of over a decade of mediocrity. As for Green Bay's off-season, I think UT pretty much nails it. They need another receiving threat alongside Devonte, and they need some more muscle in the interior of their defense, as they got bitch-slapped all game by the Niner O-line. As for the Titans, they need some REAL receiving threats so they will have options when their offensive line gets outplayed in the run game like they did against the Chiefs D-line (who played out of their friggin minds that game) I'm still not sold on Tannehill as a franchise QB either, but I don't see a more realistic option for the Titans right now. They might want to take a chance on a QB in the second or later rounds though. Romeo Crennel has got to be the worst defensive coordinator I've ever seen on a winning team. How he keeps getting jobs I'll never know.

The Chargers are officially moving on from Philip Rivers.
End of an era for them really but it's something they needed to do if they were ever going to turn the franchise around.

Rivers to the Colts is my guess. Chargers will be lucky to have a thousand of their own fans show up next season the way they are going. If you compare how they handled this to the way Eli's retirement was handled by the Giants, you can see exactly why the Manning's never wanted him to play there.

That's why the Brady to LA speculation has been around for awhile now. They look at him like a draw - but building a winner would be far more important. Look at the Rams turnaround.

Also the Giants doubling down on their Garrett hire by hiring Kitchens today is hilarious. I know that head coaching fails don't mean they can't be successful in other positions but it still made me chuckle.

Also after he bought a house in Florida , the rumors of the Bucs or Dolphins have been out there. I think the Bucs would be interesting if only because of what Arians did for Warners late career. Also he has two weapons there , including a huge target in Evans , type of guys he always loved to have in San Diego. I think he's washed but I would give him a sliver of a chance of bouncing back if he ended up there.

That’s 100%, but I would even call that team Super Bowl contenders. ESPECIALLY if their defense improves. Minus the multiple Winston mistakes that Rivers would surely keep at a normal range and this Buccaneers team is an 11-5 or 12-4 team next season. Plus give me Rivers vs Brees 2 times a year next year! I’m all for that chapter to be closed with NFC South showdowns.

You are way too high on Rivers at this point. It’s his best case scenario but I don’t think he makes anyone division contenders instantly.

We gots ourselves a trade. AJ Bouye to the Broncos for a fourth round pick. Probably means Chris Harris Jr. is out of Denver.
Crazy how quickly that elite Jags defence has gone their different ways. Calais Campbell is basically the only one left from the team that played in the AFC Championship Game.

Crazy how they went from possibly the best CB tandem in the league to both being traded. Bouye wasn’t a great #1 guy but he was a great #2.

Pretty good time to be a team that needs a LT. Four or five legitimate first round options in the draft and now Jason Peters hitting FA and Trent Williams available in a trade. Nice situation for the Giants, Chargers, Jets, Browns, Cardinals and Dolphins.

Josh Norman reunites with Sean McDermott. 1 yr, 6 million. Bills got cap space out the ass so I’m good with it, especially if he slots in at #2 and has a good year.
Now about those receivers.....and O line......

Now about those receivers.....and O line...... Could be a good signing on a prove it deal. You have to think his ego would have taken a hit being a healthy scratch last season, and the Bills will use him more in zone coverage than man to man which he doesn't have the speed to play anymore.

I think this Norman signing will end up being super underrated. I think his veteran voice is going to help that already awesome defense. Some might suggest that the D will regress this season, but I’m going to go with the opposite. I think the Bills will have the best D in the NFL this season and win the AFC East. A 12-4 season is coming for this Bills team. Maybe even better.

The Bills dropped easy win games last year to Cincinnati and Cleveland last year because their offence was inconsistent. Throw in those two games, and the fact they should have beat NE in their first meeting, and you've got a 13-3 season. I'm excited to see what they can do next season, especially if Brady actually leaves the AFC East. I still have to assume that the Patriots will find a way to win without him, but just his presence being removed is a big factor for those other teams.

I still have to assume that the Patriots will find a way to win without him, but just his presence being removed is a big factor for those other teams. It’s also going to be tough. Minus the 6 games against the AFC East, they have to face the AFC West AND NFC West. That means besides 2 games against the Patriots, they have to face the Chiefs, Rams, 49ers and Seahawks. Not to mention they’ll face what should be better teams in Denver and the Raiders. They’ll also have to face the Steelers too which will feature Big Ben. Also add in 2nd place Titans and the road is extremely tough. It’s definitely NOT going to be easy. So an 8-8 season (or worse) is just as likely UNLESS their defense is, like I predicted, the best in the NFL. They will also need Singletary to become a boss RB and Allen to improve. It’s not going to be an easy road to the playoffs for any team in the AFC East. The Patriots will have the same schedule except they’ll face Baltimore and Houston (last seasons #1s) instead of Pittsburgh and Tennessee.

Just to continue on the Bills talk, this is their schedule without the correct weeks. Just their opponents this year.
Patriots x2. Jets x2. Dolphins x2. 49ers. Seahawks. Rams. Cardinals. Chiefs. Raiders. Broncos. Chargers. Steelers. Titans.
That’s a lot.
Patriots: AFC EAST x6. AFC WEST x4. NFC WEST x4. Ravens. Texans.
Even tougher.
Jets. AFC EAST x6. AFC WEST x4. NFC WEST x4. Browns. Colts.
Not easy.
Dolphins. AFC EAST x6. AFC WEST x4. NFC WEST x4. Bengals. Jaguars.
Much easier final 2 but they’ll need to improve.
Realistically, the AFC East could only send 1 team to the playoffs this season and that could be a 9-7 team with that record.

No Brady to Tennessee.
The Tennessee Titans have agreed to a 4 year, 118M contract with Ryan Tannehill.
Either Rivers or Brady are going to TB. I’m assuming Bridgewater will head somewhere like the Chargers.
