This makes me so frustrated...
I get the need to understand how viruses might evolve so we can combat them, but I would be a bit more confident if it wasn't in the country that leaked the last global pandemic.

I also don't like the narrative of the "next pandemic" that is everywhere at the moment.
Seems people can't wait for another level of crippling government control.

With the last pandemic Sweden was the only country who didn't throw the pandemic handbook out the window and panic.
They now have less excess death than we had here in Australia with the draconian lockdowns that came with suicides and bankruptcies.
Now we have debt we can never possibly pay back and we have ABSOLUTELY ZERO to show for it...

So I am rocking COVID for the 3rd time.
Still sits me on my ass a bit, cold symptoms, extreme tiredness and racing heart rate.

So I do what a sensible person would do on a Public Holiday when sick, spent 7hrs in the garden digging a new garden bed.

Well if there were ever a truly wonderful time that you'd love to go back and relive then that would be it.

I think most of us agree, 2020 - 2022 didn't happen.

It should be erased from the timeline.

It's likely extremely evident in the shift in my tone here on PW, I didn't exactly enjoy those few years.

One of my sons was born in March 2021. It's the only thing that grounds me in figuring out the timeline of my life from 2020-2022

I caught the VID for the 6th time (2 times I was barely sick). I wonder if I get a prize when I reach 10 times? You'd think I'd be immune by now. Of course it has to happen the one weekend I actually have things I am looking forward to. I have my nieces' baby shower, a birthday and a concert - of which I was looking for to since May.

This is probably the 3rd worst I've felt out of all 6 times. I'm just so bummed.
