Texas house passed a bill allowing detention and deportation of any person of color that does not have their proof of citizenship papers on them at all times. Action will be allowed merely on suspicion of being illegal. Acceptable documents are:

Valid U.S. passport
Certificate of Naturalization (N-550 or N-570)
Certificate of U.S. Citizenship (N-560 or N-561)

Most Americans do not have a valid passport, and those that do, rarely carry them inside of the US.  

Trump family will take the stand next week most likely in the NY trial. Trump will take the stand in two weeks. Truth cannot invoke the fifth since this is not a criminal trial. In a civil trial you can take silence or not answering into account as a sign of guilt.

Believed Trump will take the dementia approach and pretend to not remember anything to avoid committing perjury.  

The twitter cases start this week in the Supreme Court. First up is whether or not Twitter has the right to ban or block users. Should the Supreme Court rule no, blocks and bans of social media users will have to be determined by them on a case by case basis moving forward.

Also will mean social media bans will no longer be allowed for US users. Blocks and ignore lists could also become barred for US users as it will restrict our first amendment rights.

Im Eric ended his testimony in NY. He basically took responsibility for several problematic transactions and maintained the fraudulent values on the stand.

This is important as it is likely Trump will then testify like Don, he has no knowledge at all of these deals. Which in the end leaves Eric holding the bag and force the judge to rule on facts, which will be, Eric was primarily responsible for all the fraud of Trump org. Then fine him as such. Trump testimony went so badly that his lawyer had no questions for him and just wanted him off the stand.  Ivanka is on Weds.

While be unable to move any of the funding bills, GOP will likely vote on impeaching hearings for Mayorkas over bordergate. MTG just introduced articles of impeachment.

Appearing more and more the GOP will not any solution to the funding problems in their caucus, and we will end up shutting down in the near future.  Too many want extremist positions that others who want to be reelected refuse to take.

Trump's lawyers just fucked up majorly in DC. They tried to claim as a defense Trump was acting under the advise of his attorneys. To use this defense you must yield attorney client privilege and the judge just called him out on it. He now either needs to turn over all communications with his legal teams, or drop his primary defense in DC.

So far he seen defeat after defeat in this case, with the trial getting pushed up to Feb for him constantly attacking witnesses. While no sentence will be enacted before the supreme court rules, he is not in a good place going into the start of it based on pre-trial motions, and likely will face jail time.

The judge is also trying to proactively cut off possible ways Trump can further delay this trial.  Smith seems to have abandoned Florida for now to focus on this trial as well.
