People in the front row that stand up for no reason. I went to the Impact dallas taping in January and ended up with a great seat in the second row, but for some reason the guy in front of me would get excited and jump up for no reason and stay standing while the action was in the ring. I can understand if the match goes to the floor and you want to see whats going on. But the shit was in the ring. Lets get some new chants This is awesome, Fight forever, You still got it have become the new WHAT. I want to see a fight forever chant break out then the heel rolls up the face and ends the match immediately.

One wrestler doing a move on two opponents. Most of the time it's more contrived than a Canadian Destroyer. My least favourite is when one wrestler hurricanranas two opponents. Completely defies physics and instantly takes me out of the match.
Saw a spot recently where Fenix did a flippity dippity armdrag on two opponents at the same time. Two opponents much bigger than him. Fuck off with that shit.
Sometimes it's acceptable. A double DDT makes sense. No real lifting or power required. Hook two opponents and fall backwards. A huge guy double suplexing two smaller opponents is also believable. Anything else, piss off.

The double chokeslam is something I always wanted but they mostly only teased it. Not Hurricane but guys you buy into like Show and Kane.

Moves that take too long to set up. Especially finishers. When someone is stuck in zombie walk for what seems like forever just so the other person gets everything set up just right, waves to the fans, orders a pizza, gives a shout out to the mom, plays air guitar, helps their kid with their homework, listen to a half baked slice of 🤯, and finally hits their move. Lets get the show on the road and at least make it look half ass real.

That brings up an interesting point.
"At least make it look real"
Is that a thing the current wrestling fan even wants? Like is that the perfect synergy between knowing the deal and broken kayfabe. We still want them to pretend even though nobody over the age of 3 buys into it? And even they are suspect...

I hate it when people go on about giving wrestling a "real sport feel" or whatever
Apparently all these AEW interim champions are a good thing because they have them in boxing and UFC. I don't care about boxing or UFC!

MMA people in wrestling in general TBH.
Wrestling has been obsessed with them for years. Who is Cain Velasquez? Who are all those men who used to hang around with Sky and Page? Why was some cage fighter man a ref on an early TNA PPV?
I'd watch MMA if I wanted to see MMA men!

I don't care about boxing or UFC! Punk messed up their title lineage and they still simp for him. That was one thing I admired about early ROH and something I tried to do with my own fan fic... everything nice and OCD friendly. No vacancies. No injury losing their smile bullshit.
Punk literally ruined AEW LMFAO.

They insist on appealing to EVERYONE because wrestling in itself is kinda lame.

I can understand the thought process in some cases you bring in a non wrestling star that might bringing new eyes to the product that normally would not watch. But at the same time has it been proven that its worth the investment?

People use the same moves to finish matches. Impact Wrestling is the most guilty of this. Sami uses the package piledriver, and so does Mia Yim. Moose, Bhupinder Gujjar, AND Rosemary all use a spear.

Wrestlers saying "stay down" when they can't beat their opponent.

Wrestlers saying "stay down" when they can't beat their opponent. I probably already answered it in this very thread but arguing with the ref in relation to moments like this are another one. ESPECIALLY if they do that comical "1-2-3" hand slap to them. Or THAT WAS 3 with the fingers and the ref says no. Like has that ever been reversed in the middle of a match based on their argument? Just feels like relics from a past gen where things were more simple so they had to sell the action a bit more to the audience.
Just a lot of eye roll worthy moments.

It's " back to basics " stuff, I often see a lot of greener talent do it. But what is more frustrating is someone who is exceptionally experienced doing it.
Danielson used to do a " I got 5 " thing, and probably still does - I stopped watching his matches even prior to AEW - yeah, we get it... you know the rules.
Rewatching some Attitude Era stuff, I was surprised how for a buch of degens running rampant, everyone had their T-Shirts tucked in like good boys. That annoyed me.

Danielson knows the rules, he's just being a dick about it by keeping a submission on until four and then rubbing it in everyone's face that he's not technically breaking the rules. He doesn't do it anymore, but I always thought it was an effective heel tactic, certainly for a small Indy crowd. That's not the same as a wrestler saying "it was three, ref!" which is some automatic and dumb way to convey frustration.

I feel like I’ve posted these before but here goes: - When a heel cashes in/attacks a downed opponent to start an impromptu match without the face consenting. Why check if wrestlers are ready to go at the start of other matches then? Besides it gives the babyface more sympathy when they are beaten down but still willing to take on all challengers. I did this in the last match I wrestled, i was just following orders ðŸ˜

Brawling in the crowd. Yawn. Instant skip.
I understand it's a treat for the live crowd, and I sure as shit would be excited if I were in the crowd and wrestlers were brawling right in front of me, but for someone watching on the big screen, it kills the match.
The one exception is Undertaker vs Triple H from Wrestlemania 17. That was a good crowd brawl, you could see what was going on, and it actually had a point, unlike all other crowd brawls which are just done to pop the crowd.

Crowd killing was great during the Attitude Era. Awkwardly back clubs... tosses over rows of seats... SUPLEX ON THE ENTRANCE RAMP... backdrop onto the "hard" floor. Great stuff to watch.
As a fan in attendance, other than the HOLY SHIT instance at first... probably isn't very fun to watch.

Heel faction asks babyface to join. Babyface refuses. Heel faction gets all upset, promises to end babyface's career blah blah blah.
A lazy and overdone way to start a feud.

I'm fine with that in principle. I do like little snippets of the song being interactive, like the WHOA in Cody's theme or the BOOM in Adam Cole's theme. Or Minoru Suzuki. When it goes beyond the entrance and the wrestler stands in the ring for 5 minutes to conduct the audience...piss off.
