It would’ve probably made my list as my second favorite movie with Ben Stiller in it but it would have been close. (Number one though: Cable Guy. Yeah I really don’t like Ben Stiller) Cable Guy is actually great though. It’s terrific.

Cable Guy was a late cut, the Stiller appearances were a highlight, but he wasn't a major focus of the picture. I consider it more of a Carrey, Broderick, Mann flick. Plus it was immortalised in one of the better 90s pop rock songs.

Where the Reality Bites fans at? I rec’d that to you and you didn’t say anything. I really enjoy that movie and Stiller is perfect in his little role.

Billy Madison still seems low to me , I've always associated this with Happy Gilmore. It's probably because they came out back to back and I would constantly rent them and watch them over and over again - so to ME it's on the same tier and resides in the same space in my brain.
It was my #2 though , fucking hilarious and juvenile but a worthy comedy with endless quotable lines. Also as with other Sandler movies - they got a great villain. Whitmore as Eric is as big of shit weasel as anyone in Sandler movies.
The cameo by Farley is great (NO YELLING ON THE BUS!). Bridgette Wilson is smoking. Just a great all around movie that deserves to be ahead of most of the movies coming on the list IMO.

Billy Madison is great. It always seems to be on some channel every weekend. Endlessly quotable. Really defines what people loved about the guy in that time period.
I can see why people may not like it as much as they grow older but fuck it the 69 laugh still gets me.

Nope. The way some people feel about Zoolander is the way I feel about Billy Madison. I LOVE Adam Sandler and Happy Gilmore, but I found Billy Madison insipid and about as funny as rectal cancer.

Surprised BM was this low. Figured it and HG would be #1 & #2 in some order.
Let's go Starsky & Hutch!!!

I'm surprised at you guys being surprised. BM didn't make the 90s SNL list which many saw as a glorified Sandler countdown. I figured if not the bottom half it would not make it at all.

Billy Madison was my #8 pick. It's been a looooong time since I saw but I also associate with Happy Gilmore (although it doesn't really touch the greatness of Happy Gilmore). It's one I haven't watched in recent years but I do remember finding it hilarious in parts.

His facials and delivery in both of these scenes is fine, in fact I might be charitable enough to say funny, especially specific parts of the former. Nope. The way some people feel about Zoolander is the way I feel about Billy Madison. I LOVE Adam Sandler and Happy Gilmore, but I found Billy Madison insipid and about as funny as rectal cancer. But this. This right here. This is the Adam Sandler that indeed is LESS funny than rectal cancer. My god it is just so fucking bad. Borderline criminal. Chuck him in with the nonces.

I went to jog my memory of Billy Maddison and that clip Strobe posted was naturally the one I checked out.
I thought it was a parody of Freddy Got Fingered.
What a goofy outlaw comedy mudshow bullshit scene.

Billy Madison is my favourite movie of all time, I’ve considering getting a blue duck tattoo at some stage.
However the groping scene on the bus is definitely a major red flag of the movie and definitely wouldn’t fly in a movie today.
Side note: my friend gave me Freddy Got Fingered as a joke present thinking I would hate it...one of the funniest films I’ve ever seen. So ahead of his time with abstract humour.

Happy Gilmore is when he finally perfected his lovable oaf routine, but Billy Madison was still a good laugh and endlessly quote-able...though 50 First Dates bumped it out of my top 10.

Absolutely loved Big Daddy. Wasn’t a huge fan of Uncut Gems - Sandler is amazing in the film and he deserved an Oscar nomination for his performance but the movie itself was a lot of noise with very little progression in my opinion. Billy Madison has always been one of my favourite movies. Though I probably know the movie better than any of my other favourite movies as System can quote it from start to finish.

🤯 is on some bad water , or a Gatorade fan because Waterboy is great. Sandler is awesome in it and has a ton of great quotes that I still love to this day. Kathy Bates as the overprotective crazy southern mother though is the real gem of this movie. FOOSBALL is for the DEVIL! Also Winkler as the meek coach of a shitty program saved by Bobby - just more perfect casting as he crushes that. I wouldn't quite put it ahead of Billy Madison , but it's close and I just have more connection with the former. #5 seems a tad high but this is probably Sandlers third best comedy. Certainly one of the more remembered for in certain parts.

You defend Zoolander and have the nerve to call this garbage? Don't lump the underrated, underappreciated brilliance of Zoolander in with this Water Boy septic tank spillage.
