The Bengals were my number 10. It was more of a self-conscious thing again by not wanting to have Ohio dominate the top of my list more than anything. I agree they deserved to be higher.

I live in deep Bengal country and I honestly hurt inside watching fans of them. It's like someone still sporting a Romney 2012 sticker on their car. Dude just stop.

I had Cincy at 7.
Even when they had great teams, they've always found a way to fuck it up. And that's in MY LIFETIME.
Disastrous franchise.

I still haven't gotten over that 2015 Bengals/Steelers wild card game. They scored 16 unanswered points in the fourth quarter to take the lead, had the ball after an interception with just 1:45 left on the clock, only to fumble it straight back to Pittsburgh and then completely combust with the double personal fouls giving Boswell the chance to kick the game winner. I doubt there will ever be a more absurd loss.

5 years ago I would’ve had an argument for 3 of my favorite teams on this list. Now I just have my always the Eastern Conference bridesmaid Pacers to feel that bad for.
Having your lifelong favorite team win a title? It doesn’t suck boys. 😎

So many bad bad years man. The 2000's were just brutal. They are back to the bottom of the division nowadays but Jorge Soler. Royals/Chiefs/Mizzou tigers BBall as the 3 teams?

8) Cleveland Indians
Right spot for them. Have not won a WS in over 60 years and the times they were in the big dance(1997, 2016) they found antagonizing ways to continue the misery over. They have been up and down lately but with Kluber gone to TEX and possibility of Lindor not being there due to contract, who knows if they will get back to their contending ways. The WS vs the Cubs was a battle of the two most cursed teams in baseball and Chicago got theirs. They had Jim Thome, Omar Vizquel, David Justice but they just ran into a dynasty in the Yankees in the 90's and outside of 97, just could not win vs them. Sorta like the Knicks of NBA just being so unlucky running into Michael Jordan.

Pacers were the other team. Missouri has a case as we’re one of the most frequent programs to make Tourney with no Final Four, but we had enough Big XII tourney wins to keep from feeling tortured. And the 2014 playoffs with the crazy wildcard, the 8 game winning streak, and the game I went to in the World Series (a 10-0 Game 6 win) made me forget about all the bad that came before, and 2015 healed losing the 14 series with the tying run on 3rd. The other thing I’ve been good about, especially with the Royals - when they’re bad, I tune out. There have been like 15 years of baseball I really didn’t have to care about at all.

They also had one of my top 5 favorite players of the 90's in Albert Belle, then he had to offend Hannah Storm during the '95 playoffs when they also had a good chance of winning. The Indians were my number 2, they really have been a running gag since I could remember and had a series of movies devoted to their losing ways, that says it all.

Whoops. I left the Indians off my list because I misremembered them winning the World Series a few years back rather than losing. Yeah, they definitely belong. I probably would have had them at #5 on my list if not for that phantom World Series win. Much like the Bengals, they've been bad bad, thoroughly average, and good enough to break the hearts their fans in the postseason. They haven't won the Series since way back in 1948. Meaning only people nearing their 80s(!) and older are going to remember the Cleveland Indians as World Series champs. Ouch.

LeBron got them an NBA title single handedly(Well Irving and Love too) few years ago, think they're off the list. Add some NBA Finals appearances, WCF appearances and getting the absolute bullshit of FOUR number one picks in the human crock shit that is the NBA Lotto and they do not belong on this list.

Bills are an easy choice to be on the list , I love looking back at the nineties Bills and it sucks that those teams weren't able to come away with a single championship. Going 0-4 sucks , and it's made even worse when its followed with decades of mostly futility and shitty front offices.
I mean Doug Flutie is probably their best quarterback since Kelly. Flutie is fun but not exactly the guy you want with that moniker. And management insisted on Johnson at the time anyways.
And then of course there is this year in the playoffs too. Blowing the lead.

Bills are a fair shout, I would have them at no.11 or no.12 due to actually being in some super bowls which is more than I can say about a lot of teams(Cardinals/Jets/Lions/Browns) but the misery of how they lost those super bowls in addition to the dreadfulness years after(Music City Miracle, and the woeful 00's of being Tom Brady's HOF stat padding session) have them absolutely deserving. They are on the upswing though and have been in the playoffs twice in the past 5 years which is something. That's the 2nd most playoff appearances in that timespan in the AFC East.
I don't even think they are the worst side in Buffalo pro sports to be honest with you:
(Sabres probably didn't make this list so I think now is as good as ever to put this bad boy here)
Bills have been far nicer to the fans than the Jets have for decades but that might be a controversial opinion.

The Bills are a lot like the Vikings only their Super Bowl losses are more recent and they don't have the consistency "good teams" so they never had hope which is why they need to be ahead of them. They still find spectacular ways to lose though , and I think that's sometimes just as bad. The Wide Right and MSM especially are forever etched in Bills history as some of the worst moments in sports. And even this year , blowing that lead to the Texans when they had them dead to rights and were moving on in the playoffs. Classic Bills. Despite my hatred for RT , I actually do hope they have a nice little run in the East coming up.

I wanna see a watchable, great product on a weekly basis before I start having grey hair. I was in elementary school when the Jets won the AFC East  I really hope the Pats fall out because I can't remember the last time the Jets or Bills or Dolphins HOSTED A PLAYOFF GAME! I think it was 2008, the year Brady went down and Miami won the division.

It’s coming, friends. The AFC will be ours and no table will be safe. We will put The Dudley Boyz to shame.

Buffalo made my list. Really fucked up shit happens to them. I jynxed them in the playoffs and probably did it again by picking them to win the AFC East but yeah. 0-4 is rough.

I had the Bills at 7, they did comeback from 38-0 though to get to one of those Superbowls. Most definitely a team of extremes.
Plus wasn't Leon Lett a Cowboys moment? That was tremendous defensive play by the Bills wideout to deny the TD.

I had the Buffalo Williams at #8.
They were the butt of many a joke back when they lost 4 straight Super Bowls. They became synonymous with losing during this time. Even non-sports fans knew of the Bills as losers. In hindsight I don't think this was fair. Their making 4 consecutive Super Bowls is still a record. But they did provide their fans with plenty of heartbreak, most notably with Ray Fink...err...Scott Norwood's missed field goal against the Giants.
Then there was the Music City Miracle. Then the Flutie/Rob Johnson debacle. That was followed by the longest playoff drought in the NFL- something like 17 years. Even this past year I was pulling for them in the playoffs. They had a big lead against the Texans. I did something else for a while and when I came back they had blown it in true Bills fashion.
Plus their most greatest, most famous pre-Super Bowl run player is the infamous OJ Simpson. That about sums up the Bills. Those boys just can't win.

Don't really get this one , granted I don't know the ins and outs of baseball ... especially recently but for only being about 44 seasons , sporting a near .500 record in that time and winning TWO world championships. Doesn't seem that bad at all. Guess some elaboration is needed.
