1) NY Jets 2) NY Knicks 3) US Men's National Soccer Team 4) 5) Detroit Lions 6) Minnesota Timberwolves 7) Toronto Maple Leafs 8) Cleveland Indians 9) Arizona Cardinals 10) Sacramento Kings Shocked the TWolves did not make this list, far worse than the Vikings. The US Men's National team I knew I would be alone on but they made the QUARTERFINALS ONCE ever in the world cup. That's it, top 8. Since then, it's been misery including the disaster of not qualifying out of the CONCACAF for the last world cup. Team does not look any better, at least the other teams MAYBE have some future or hope, the US Men's Soccer team? Nope. You need a fan base to begin with to have a tormented fan base

My list:
1- New York Knicks
2- New York Jets
3- New York Rangers
4- Cleveland Browns
5- Toronto Maple Leafs
6- Detroit Lions
7- Cincinnati Bengals
8- Atlanta Falcons
9- Utah Jazz
10- Miami Dolphins
Yeah total bias on the top 3. SO WHAT?!
And I added the Falcons because well that Super Bowl. The Dirty Birds couldn't get it done, either.
The Jazz are tormented by legends all the time. MJ. Kobe's retirement game. Then 'Last Dance' and Gordon Hayward leaving. It just felt like a good place to put them.
Then the Dolphins aint ever done shit, either. I really should have had the Bills on there but I totally put the wrong AFC East team there.

I follow the soccer team somewhat and I do not have high hopes for the current administration led by Berhalter. I just think the best young athletes turn to basketball or football or baseball due the amount of guaranteed dollars those present and business opportunities given.

Easy and obvious #1 , anyone who thinks there is a worst/more tortured franchise in history doesn't realize just how awful the Browns have been more most of our lives.
And I mean for christs sake , they got relocated and the "new team" won a fucking Super Bowl. That's as bad as it can ever possibly get.

Thats a fact UT. I obviously had them at 4, because I wanted to give New York some love but the Browns are definitely the worst. Then they get this superstar team this past season and it becomes a mess and the biggest takeaway from it is Myles Garrett beating the crap out of a QB. Just a shit show of an organization.

Have absolutely no problem with Cleveland Browns no.1 here. The aforementioned Art Modell hell, so many awful years, so many bad draft picks, a QB carousel that rivals if not is worse than the Jets, Bills, Cardinals etc. You don't get called the "Factory of Sadness" for nothing. My guy ELPRESADOR truly believes every year it's going to be "it" but it ends up not being "it". They have a crazy fanbase and have so much talent, it's bound to happen very soon. I know that seems silly but sooner or later, the talent and draft pick accumulation ends up building something. I miss @bender, and cig also really put their heart and soul into this team. At least there are the Buckeyes....

Ah yes, The Cleveland Browns. The obvious and only correct answer for #1 on this list.
Let me start by saying that the Dawg Pound are some of the most passionate football fans out there. They show up through rain, sleet and snow, no matter how shitty the Browns are. Only problem is they lack the optimistic delusions Bears fans have to comfort them. They know bloody well how bad their team sucks and come out anyway.
Last championship? When Jim Brown was still playing, oh who by the way decided to retire after only nine seasons. Following that you had the Bernie Kosar years which were pretty decent but FILLED with soul crushing moments like The Drive by John Elway and The Fumble by Ernest Byner. Did I mention Byner won a Super Bowl after going to the Redskins? There simply is no justice for Browns fans.
Then Art Modell announces he's moving the team to Baltimore because he is losing money in Cleveland. I mean how the fuck do you lose money on football in Cleveland?? The NFL says that Cleveland can keep the Browns name and trademarks and awards Art Modell "an expansion team" known as the Baltimore Ravens. But the sad truth was that Art Modell kept ALL of the Browns infrastructure and all of the Browns' actual legacy, to the point that all of the Browns legends (including Jim Brown himself!!!) identified with the Ravens. It was the Cleveland faithful that had to start all over again with an expansion team and all of the misery that goes with it. Art Modell and the Ravens? Super Bowl champs a mere 5 years later. Once again there is no justice for Browns fans.
Then THIS happened.
Quite possibility the biggest injustice in the history of football. Once the ball is snapped you CANNOT go back to the previous play for review, that is a hard and fast rule. Yet for some reason this particular referee crew decided to rewrite the rules on the fly, and do just that. Oh and they then reversed the call which happened to be a 4th down catch, effectively ending the game and the Browns playoff chances. Now I don't condone the behavior of the Browns faithful but I 100% get it. Far as I'm concerned those refs all should have been fired. But once again Browns fans get no justice.
And sure enough those following years have been filled with shitty management, piss poor drafting, inept coaching, and lackluster effort from the players. All culminating in two of the most putrid seasons of all-time under head coach Hue Jackson. From the start of 2016 to the end of 2017 the Browns went 1-31....that is not a misprint, 1-31. An entire winless season and a single victory season.
But a flash of hope comes through when the Browns draft Baker Mayfield...and the kid has an excellent rookie year, filling Browns fans with a hope they haven't had in decades. Browns management responds by surrounding Baker with what looks like an absolute juggernaut on paper. He's got all kinds of weapons, a running game, a defense brimming with potential....Only to regress horribly his second year and the team itself falls flat on it's face, playing horribly beneath their potential. The team plays without discipline, without heart, and without passion. Another wasted season.
This current Browns squad still has the same promise as last year, and with a coaching change hopes are high once qgain. But frankly I won't believe till I see it, which why I still see no reason to have anyone but the Browns at #1 for this list.

The Browns were my #1. Can't believe they have an overall winning record! I double checked just to be sure and....it's complicated. They have an overall losing record if you take out their early days AAFC stuff.
Anyway! So yeah. The Browns suck. Zero Super Bowl appearances in 50 attempts. Leaving town to become the Ravens and seeing those traitors win a Super Bowl within years while the rebooted Browns have only made one playoff appearance in 21 seasons, that being way back in 2002. The Nu Browns best record is 10-6 behind Derek Anderson in 2007. In true Browns fashion they did not make the playoffs that year. Tons of laughably bad draft picks. A ridiculous coaching carousel. And the one time they were consistently good since the early 70s saw them suffer memorable AFC Championship losses to the Broncos in "The Drive" and "The Fumble" that would make even Vikings fans wince. A recent winless season. The misery goes on and on and on. Those poor, poor Cleveland Browns.

1. Cleveland Browns (#1) 2. Detroit Lions (#3) 3. Baltimore Orioles 4. Cincinnati Bengals (#8) 5. Pittsburgh Pirates 6. San Diego Padres 7. Milwaukee Brewers 8. Buffalo Bills (#6) 9. Seattle Mariners 10. Minnesota Vikings (#10) *Thought I stupidly included the Bucs on my list. I know they were on it at one point. Must have cut them at the end. Yay for me! The Pirates, Padres, Brewers, and Mariners have fielded mostly bad baseball teams for decades, with the most recent World Series championship of the whole bunch coming way back in 1979 when the Pirates defeated the.... 3. Baltimore Orioles- Time to go all Blindy . The Orioles were my first and greatest sports love. Life has not been easy for us O's fans. The once proud Orioles were the winningest team in all of baseball from like 1960 to 1985. I started watching baseball in 1986. The Orioles finished in last place that season for the first time in their 33 year history. Gotta say that was some epic foreshadowing for the next 33 years. They were even worse in 1987. Then hit rock bottom in 1988 when they made national news by starting the season 0-21. A record that will probably never be broken. They ended the year with a league high 107 losses. Then came the glorious "Why Not" season of 1989. I loved this team more than any other team in sports history. Their "documentary," which you could only get at specially selected local stores, will be my #1 with a bullet in that upcoming countdown. I must have watched it 100 times and can likely still quote the whole thing from start to finish. That is not hyperbole. Will share it at the end of this post. Anyway, the Orioles were the toast of the town. (FRUIT LOOPS!) The "Why Not" Orioles went from worse to almost first. But it wouldn't be the Orioles without a season ending in heartbreak. Sure enough, they lost the final series of the year to the Blue Jays in gut-wrenching fashion, which caused the now-hated Jays to capture the AL East Title. Not gonna lie. I cried. Then I cried again. I wouldn't have cared if I dropped dead right then and there. Life was no longer worth living. Truth! Then they were back to sucking for a few more years. The early 90s lowlight is the infamous Glenn Davis trade which saw the Orioles ship 3 future All Stars, including potential Hall of Famer Curt Schilling, to Houston for injury prone "slugger" (lol) Glenn Davis. The O's moved to Camden Yards in 1992 and suddenly got good. Not great, but good. The next 3 seasons on manager Johnny Oates were winning ones. They had a shot at the postseason(!) in 1994 only to see it go up in flames due to the stupid Strike. Then they fired my man Johnny O and replaced him with a bum named Phil Regan. The '95 O's had a lot of hype but finished under .500 due to stupid Regan's boneheaded decisions and lousy closer Doug "Home Run" Jones. I even remember rooting against the Orioles (gasp!) when they played the Rangers because Texas had a bunch of ex-O's and were now managed by my man Johnny Oates. Only highlight from this season is the great Cal Ripken breaking Gehrig's famous consecutive games streak. I am happy to say I was at the game where Cal tied The Streak, hitting a home run in the process. Cal was God to us Orioles fans. I still have a Ripken jersey and another Ripken shirt. 96 & 97 saw the O's finally make the Playoffs! Where they were famously robbed by that no good punk kid Jeffrey Maier. Then manager Davey Johnson, who replaced Regan after Phil's one season of failure, left because of an inability to get along with our stupid owner Peter Angelos. Johnson was also kind of a dick tbh (he was no Johnny Oates!) but at least he won. 1998-2011 saw 14 straight losing seasons. It also saw the Orioles lose their position as the toast of Baltimore due to the Ravens rapidly becoming a model NFL franchise. Even locally the O's had become a joke, with only the hardcore, diehard fans remaining. Attendance at Camden Yards dwindled. O's fans would be outnumbered by jerks from New York and Boston during home games against the hated Yankees and Red Sox. Management made one boneheaded decision after another. Even I barely followed baseball in the early 2000s, though this was honestly more due to finally having a life than the O's sucking. I came back to hardcore Orioles fandom around 2005 to suffer through a few more long, losing summers. Then came the magical 2012 season. This was basically Why Not 2.0 with the O's coming out of nowhere under manager Buck Showalter to not only post their first winning season in 15 years, but to finally make the Playoffs! I was all in on this team. Loved them. Went to a bunch of games after averaging probably less than one per year during the previous decade+. They lost in the playoffs. And that sucked. But the future was bright for the first time since way back in 1997. 2013 saw the O's have a winning season but fail to make the playoffs. They rebounded to win the AL East in 2014 and go all the way to the ALCS where they got swept by the Royals, of all teams 2015 saw them revert back to a .500 record. They rebounded to make the playoffs in 2016, only to lose to those damn Blue Jays in the Wild Card play in game. Then the bottom fell out again. They were bad in 2017 and historically bad in 2018 & 2019. Both seasons saw them break the old franchise record of 107 losses in '88. Tbh I pretty much lost my Orioles Magic in 2015. Haven't been to a game or bought any merch since. BUT! I did go to like....30? 40? 50? Orioles games from 1985* to 2014. Also bought a ton of Orioles merch over the years. *Not sure about the year, but one of my earliest memories is going to an O's vs. A's game with just my old man. I remember we caught the bus home because his car was in the shop. It was definitely prior to '86 because I wasn't a baseball fan yet. For all I know, this game was my introduction to America's Pastime. Final Thoughts- The Orioles have only posted 10 winning seasons in the 34 years I've been following baseball. Only 5 of those seasons saw them make the playoffs. By comparison, the lowly Sacramento Kings have made the playoffs 9 times during that stretch. They Orioles have never made the World Series since I've been a baseball fan. 0-21. The "Why Not" season ending in heartbreak. The....other Why Not season also ending in heartbreak. The Glenn Davis Trade. Firing Johnny Oates. Jeffrey Maier. Firing Davey Johnson. Becoming an afterthought to the Ravens. 14 straight losing seasons. Being stuck in the same division as the Yankees & Red Sox. Seeing Camden Yards overtaken by Yanks and BoSox fans. Player after player leaving for more money or just a chance to win. More playoff heartbreak in the 2010s. Coming off back to back 100 loss seasons. 9 last place finishes. Ouch! Why Not?: The Story of the 1989 Baltimore Orioles
