Literally no one is saying Ric Flair's actions were okay. The reason people are having such a strong reaction to Tommy Dreamer being a fuckhead is that they're surprised that Tommy Dreamer is such an absolute fuckhead.

No one made statements that will not use Flair or Hall, only Dreamer.

Jobbers can't make mistakes.

So wonder if WWE will sue Heidi Doyle or not. She pretty much said she had an NDA, and she clearly broke it here.

My guess is the reason Golddust did not get shit was because Taralyn Cappellano was not willing to break her NDA.

Hilarious to see everyone making him out to be a hero, when he was telling Cappellano he was gonna fuck her when he had the PA mic and rubbed his penis on her.   

Who would have thought a drunk coke fiend who has struggled to control his urges at the best of times..

I'm surprised it took this long for Flair to be held accountable.

A year ago, people got cancelled for 'abusive language' and yet, the industry celebrates him.

It's interesting that Hunter seems to continually associate himself with people like Hall, Waltman, Flair, HBK over the years despite being essentially straight edge.

My two favorite takes on this so far:

Tommy Dreamer could have discussed how Ric Flair actions were inappropriate but instead he decided to keep it real.

There will be a Dark Side of the Ring episode, about this Dark Side of the Ring episode with dramatic reenactments of Dreamer ruining his career.

Can someone tell me what Tommy says since it's apparently enough to get suspended from TNA. I'll watch the video eventually, but don't wanna sit through some hard-r's take on Youtube. I mean if I'm gonna sit through 20+ minutes I might as well just watch the actual episode.

He wasn't smart enough to just shut up. At least RVD was smart enough to essentially say, you don't want to know everything about your heroes.

Dreamer basically said it was just Ric being Ric so what is the big deal?  And it was really edited to make him look like the biggest asshole in the world.

RVD was getting more into the ECW stuff I felt like, which was incredible fucked up shit according to the Raven shoots.

Incredible story told by the female flight attendant. I feel bad for her and everything she's saying about feelings, reactions and consequences to what gets said or doesn't get said was SPOT ON. Sorry she had to go through this, but she really did an incredible job telling this story.

As for Tommy Dreamer; boo. Dude didn't even come off cool. Came off like a total douche. Read the room Tommy!

Only thing that bothers me is that people acts like it's anything new or shocking when it is so obvious that Ric Flair is dirty and inappropriate old man, he's not someone you would want your wife or daughter to be around anyway

Tommy Dreamer deserved to be suspended, It's never okay to Harass other people, there is No excuse for that.

On a side note, good move on impacts part. Don't want to upset the 104 fans they still have.

Dreamer is great backstage and knows like everyone. I really this was a read a room situation and Dreamer not expecting a hit job so he did not really bother watching what he said.

If it was a hit job, it was only because Tommy Dreamer loaded the gun and put it directly into his own mouth.

Tommy was just dumb enough to say on camera what most of "the boys" probably thought of the situation. He came off like a douchebag but locker rooms are chalk full of douchebag behavior and commentary. And as Da Gr8t I Is said - it's not shocking coming from Flair. Not that it makes it right but can we all stop acting like Ric Flair being a drunken pervert with no self control is a new or shocking revelation.

Funny that RVD is coming off like a babyface but he pretty much admitted to watching or knowingly allowing rape to happen.

He's Dusty's kid but he is also a father of a transexual child and has been very pro LGBTQ+ because of it. He also had a huge hand in women's wrestling getting a chance supposedly along with Finlay for WWE when they were both around. I think he has matured and also had tons of substance issues around that time maybe due to divorce or whatever was going on. The Black Reign TNA run was evident of that, even more overweight than he used to be and probably didn't even know where he was half the time. Hard to believe that the AEW one is the same person. 

I think if it's a very isolated incident you might get a slap on the wrist by many, especially if you clean up your act but Flair has done this too many times, regardless of the era, to be given that benefit.

I know controversy=cash and all but I can't imagine a lot of wrestlers will want to talk about an incident from years ago knowing the fallout that could come if you answer wrong. The flight attendant clearly said the only person who tried helping her when Ric Flair was giving her the helicopter dick was Dustin Rhodes. Why should he get in trouble? For having substance abuse issues and singing into a microphone?

Because he cornered the other flight attendant and grinded against her and told her for hours he was going to fuck her with details of what he wanted to do her on the PA. That was really why there were even lawsuits and settlements.

The big difference here is that what many people have always assumed about Ric Flair was finally confirmed by people who witnessed it, and it was done on a pretty big scale. Ric shouldn't get a pass but I won't be surprised if he does. Then again, WWE may have fired him as a precaution before this episode aired, and now we have to see what NWA and AEW do.
