Damn, Dave Lagana resigned from NWA. Wow, Liz got him. I was almost certain people would brush her off again.

Also the Dream stuff is back.  Second time he has been accused of grooming.  This one is not going away so easily.  This person straight out told people to search twitter to confirm and the story checks out.  Also shit does not look edited.  This is not good at all.

WWE gonna be forced to release him.  Age different may only be three years, but it is still a guy cruising for a high schooler while under WWE contract.

This is all on the edge of legality. Not sure as the laws really changed a few years back, but it is is enough that a company like WWE will want to distance. For To Catch a Predator they wanted confirmation to avoid lawsuits. If they could get the person to say they wanted to sex they could avoid a libel lawsuit with a truth defense. Without that, if they aired the segment and implied the person was a pedo, the pedo could sue them for defamation.

The issue is not asking the boy to show his body without a shirt, it was asking to see his lower body. Also sending dick pics to minors is a sex offense in the US. Sounds like this time too, this kid can connect people with a group of others if needed to make a serious case against Dream TGO style.

This story is catching on like wildfire and the kid keeps adding more stuff.  This is not going to end well at all.  Expect to see Dream released tomorrow as this kid will not likely be silenced so easily either.

Yeah that posts means nothing to me. Translate or stop being coy so I can either rage or become indifferent.

One of the reddit admins basically nuked the topic. When admin makes a decision like that, the mods generally then have to follow suit and delete all other posts about the topic.

There was nothing copyrightable in the first accusation against Dream, so they basically abused DMCA to silence the conversation. If it happened on reddit, it also likely happened on Twitter. Given the person who made the accusation vanished from both platforms, it was likely his shit was removed and his accounted deleted after WWE legal threats to make the story go away.

I don't believe in WWE making threats to make it go away, if you make an allegation following through on the proof or offer a statement to the police. While I hate to think some of these allegations are complete bullshit, it's happened before.

We seem to accept Twitter as enough evidence and trial by social media.

For the admins of reddit to get involved and pull something a lawyer had to get involved. Given the admins used a BS excuse, I assume it was a WWE lawyer. Reddit gets bogus legal threats all the time but a letter from WWE would shut things down really fast. Since it looks like Dream was grooming high schoolers and the story did actually check out, and he was not punished in WWE, looks like they did make the story go away.

And in this case yeah twitter is evidence as the kids are posting the evidence on twitter. Many of the call outs are just stories but the Dream kids are posting screenshots and referencing old tweets he made about them.

Two people come forward with accusations against Joey Ryan

Impact Wrestling's Joey Ryan is among the many wrestlers that have been accused of inappropriate behavior. Coventry-based ring announcer Charlie wrote about an alleged incident with Ryan and while Ryan's name was not mentioned, Charlie later identified Ryan in a quote retweet. Here is what they wrote:

“I’m going to start this by saying that I’m ashamed. Ashamed that I brushed it off as ‘banter’ and ‘it’s just the lads’ – when what happened to me was not acceptable. The wrestler repeatedly propositioned me for sex after a wrestling show. Myself and the majority of the roster shared a few drinks after a show (an important point, this was my second ever show as an MC, – he took ADVANTAGE). The wrestler had come to the UK and up until this point in the night, despite being the only woman in a large group of 6ft+ men, I had felt safe. The majority of the wrestlers are my friends, my colleagues and my partner.

The wrestler sat beside me and proceeded to touch my hands and my arms, invade my personal space and desperately tried to get me to go home with him. The ‘home’ was another wrestler’s couch, he offered up someone else’s home without their permission to try and f*** me. He offered me sex multiple times, and when I told him I had a partner, that was ignored, despite my partner being only a few feet away. When I asked the wrestler if his wife would mind, indicating his wedding ring, this was also ignored – apparently they have an ‘arrangement.’ He refused to take ‘No’ for an answer.

He deliberately isolated me from my friends and my partner, sitting me on the furthest side of the tables, pushing his leg against mine, sitting beside me, almost ontop of me. He also made comments about the self-harm scars on my arms – an attempt at negging? Touching and stroking without my permission. Whatever it was, it was disgusting. I ignored it all as a bit of fun, laughing it off in the moment, surely I should feel flattered that a man all the way from America with a wildly impressive resume of titles and matches, arguably the most famous wrestler I have met, but I didn’t. I was left feeling hollow and empty, I finally managed to get away from him, making excuses that I was needed elsewhere. Eventually he left. That was that. My introduction to the social atmosphere behind professional wrestling. I have never forgotten it, and I don’t think I ever will. It wasn’t a joke, it wasn’t some fun. It was wrong, it crossed boundaries. I was victimized, harassed and taken advantage of. f*** you.”

“The first legit independent wrestling show I went to was GCW: just being honest. I was overwhelmed and didn’t know what to expect. I was mainly excited to see Effy and for that reason had my pride scarf on. It was already scary at that because I didn’t know how fans would perceive me. The fans were amazing. Two wrestlers weren’t. I went to the merch table and David Starr and Joey Ryan were next to each other with merch. I went to them looking at merch not knowing what to buy. I settles on a ‘We the Independent’ beanie and asked them for a picture. They came up to me and the first thing Joey did was look at my pride scarf and say, 'Do you want to take a pictures of you holding my dick or would that turn you on.' It threw me off but I brushed it off as cis humor and laughed. Joey then said 'or do you want to do it to me' and tried to grope me with his hand. I backed up in hesitation and bumped into David who was behind me and he said, 'Joey maybe he’s a bottom' and he tried to slap my ass. I awkwardly stood aside as the fan took the picture.

I told the fan to delete it after as I didn’t want that image existing to come up in my mind ever again. That experience still exists in my mind and might not go away, ever. I was already questioning my sexuality as is and that just made me feel like being gay/pansexual wasn’t 'okay'. I don’t even know if he remembers that happening. But thank you. Thank you Effy for also helping me with sexuality after that encounter and making me forget the experience for the time being and make me proud to don the rainbow.”

Yeah... The King of Sleeze stuff I never liked from him when he worked intergender matches. It was like everything that was wrong with wrestling.

System, c, Remember there's fans out there that were legitimately offended when meeting MJF while in character. The majority of fans meeting Joey Ryan would gladly grab his dick for a photo-op - that's the gimmick. If anything, being a dickhead with little self awareness, he's without a doubt chosen the wrong audience member to banter with. A highly sensitive individual meets an obnoxious, sleazy wrestler - it was never going end well.

At the very most, he's lived the gimmick and acted like a complete douche-bag. These two incidents - Questionable character, yes. Criminal offence though? Probably not.

The previously reported incident is a completely different story though.

My point was it’s kinda hard to plead your case you don’t sexual harass people when that’s basically what your character is famous for.

As previously noted, two people came forward with accusations against Impact Wrestling star Joey Ryan and Ryan issued an official statement regarding the accusations.

Twitter user @slaymysterio, who made accusations towards David Starr, shared the following text messages that were allegedly from Ryan:

Twitter user @sierraloxton responded to Ryan's statement by publishing additional accusations from an anonymous person:

"Early last year Joey Ryan flew me in the day before a show to go see sights. On the day I was really sick with a cold and didn't want to go out, but he convinced me to go out for just a little to eat with him. He took me straight to a bar where I only had a few drinks (strong mixed cocktails) and it got me pretty messed up. Afterwards while driving me back he told me how much he liked me, (bearing in mind we had barely held down a real conversation other than chit chat at shows) I told him that I was interested in someone else and continued to let him down, but he was persistent about it. He asked to walk me to my room, I allowed him because it was a sketchy area. He her asked me if he could come in, I told him no because that wasn't a good idea. He said only for a minute and I still said no, he said can I at least kiss you, I felt really awkward so I reluctantly said ok. I still told him I didn't want him to come in. I was struggling to open my cold medicine packet back from the door so he let himself in and opened it for me. He then pursued me and after countlessly saying I wasn't interested and said no, he sexually assaulted me. I found the courage to run to the bathroom and locked myself inside. I cried and told him to leave, he refused and kept telling me to come out. I was still crying in the bathroom and kept asking him to please leave, he said let's talk and then I'll leave. He tried to tell me he was a terrible person, that's why his wife left him and he is seeing someone to help with his problems. He told me to act like it never happened, it will be between you and me and wanted to make sure we were good. The next day he acted as such like it never happened.

Coming to terms with this was the hardest part, and I honestly never thought I would have the strength to tell this. If someone isn't interested in you, don't pursue them. If they say they are talking to or are interested in someone else, respect that. This shouldn't happen to anyone else."

Then she says 'Yes' to being flown out by Joey Ryan - most likely at his expense. And basically tells the bloke she's not interested. She obviously doesn't owe the guy anything.. but why would you even get on the plane, to see a guy you don't know and have zero interest in, or any intent to be with?

Accusations made against Kongo Kong and Kong responds

Indy wrestler Kyle Boone made the following accusations towards former Impact Wrestling star Kongo Kong:

"When I was 19 and very new in the wrestling industry, I was part of a match involving Kongo Kong. It was only my 5th show, and I messed up a small spot. When we got to the back, he scolded me and told me how badly I had screwed up and I felt terrible. I tucked my tail between my legs and went out to sell merch during intermission for the very first time, because I had just gotten my own shirts. I sold my first shirt that day. I was so happy that someone would want to buy something with my name on it.

I went to the back, and Kong started yelling at me a second time. He was upset because I went out during intermission and didn't stay in the back to sell his chokeslam. He then demanded that I gave him all of the money I had made. I explained that this was my first time selling merch, and he responded with 'either show me your dick, or give me the money you made off of your merch.'

I tried to joke with him to ease the tension, but he stood there with his hands out and repeated that I had to choose, 'dick or money' in front of the entire locker room. People were watching, laughing, and egging this on, as it went on for roughly 20 minutes. I never thought in my life I'd be in a position where I had to choose between showing someone my dick or giving them money. I had heard stories about how these situations panned out, and I didn't want to come off as a 'bitch' to the locker room or risk not getting booked again, so eventually I turned my head, closed my eyes, and opened my tights. He scoffed and said he didn't see it, and demanded I still hand him my money anyway, so I did, hoping that this would finally be over with.

At the end of the show, I was also booked to be a part of a rumble. I was so thankful when my name was called, because I had been in this position for over half an hour and I couldn't wait to leave the locker room. After I was eliminated, I returned to the back and Kong approached me again, upset that I wasn't selling his chokeslam from over an hour earlier. I apologized and said that I should've known better, but he said that he didn't care and that when the promoter paid me that night, I was to hand over my money to him. I was holding back tears at this point.

When I got paid, he made me hand over my money, and then he made a bunch of the people I train with hand over their money as well. After that, he demanded I go pack up all of his merch and bring it to him, which I did. He then said I had to apologize to him, and by the end of it all, I was on my knees begging him for forgiveness as I started to tear up. I was sad, humiliated, and defeated. He handed our money back and I walked away.

I will never love wrestling quite how I used to, and I feel like I won't be the same ever again after that. I can't talk about it seriously without shaking and tearing up, so when I tell this story to someone who hasn't heard it, I try and play it off like a joke, despite the fact that it really f***ed me up emotionally. When I mention to people that I think it's f***ed up situation, they usually say something like 'he was probably just joking' and when people that were there retell the story, it's 'haha, remember that time Kong f***ed with Kyle?' and I've just had to roll with it.

But what if I was a girl? Would it have been 'just a joke' then? It's easy for men to say that they're going to react differently, or fight off someone who does that shit or whatever, but here is a guy with 2 feet and 300Ibs on me — now what? Dudes will say that something like this wouldn't affect them, but you never really understand what it feels like until it happens to you.

Sharing this story is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. I had to consider my career, my bookings, and how people who perceive me because of it. I've been told countless times to get tougher skin since I started wrestling, but to me, having thick skin means being prepared to take the backlash from this post. I'm not laughing it off anymore. I want to be someone who can make things change for the better."

Maybe, just maybe, she wanted to spend some time with another human being, doing interesting things, without any thought of sexual interaction? A guy and a girl can hang out without any expectations of sex. They could bond and become friends, which is a good thing, especially if they work in the same industry.
