Detached garage in Canada? Of all places I would not expect to see them. That was all I grew up with. Very typical in homes out East and older homes here as there are back alleys to access them. Ours is different as you don't often see front driveways leading to the back garage in Alberta, but it's very typical out East. We are the only house on our street with a true front driveway. It's a bitch to shovel in the Winter though.  Newer developments usually have attached garages on the front with bonus rooms on top of them as they don't have back alleyways but my friends just moved in to a new build with the attached garage on the back which is very unique here. We keep our Christmas decorations in the basement storage room. Like hell am I digging out lights and trees from the garage in -20C. My mom is in the garage 365 days a year because it's heated so she gardens in there year round.

I have 11 more years to go. 11 years isn't too bad and would come down quickly if you threw in extra dollars when you could. He lies, he owns 4 investment properties. 1 Investment property. 1 Primary residence The reason we didn't pay it off sooner is because of how much tax you have to pay when you pay dividends... It is painful, in a Boomer kind of Boomer definition of pain... AMIRITE @admin?

11 years isn't too bad and would come down quickly if you threw in extra dollars when you could. I started with a 30-year and refinanced to a 20-year, and currently on a 15-year. My rate is 2.25% so I'm not in a rush, especially when I can get 5% in a savings account.

My rate is 2.25% so I'm not in a rush, especially when I can get 5% in a savings account. It's interesting to me how much of the USA is fixed rate interest loans. Nearly all our home loans are variable as to get a fixed loan you will pay more than the variable rate is today. The longest Fixed rate loan you can get here is 10 years, today you would have to pay 7.52% p.a. to get that and you are locked in with no refinancing. My mortgage was a variable rate, with an offset account, it is like a savings account, but instead of paying interest, whatever is sitting in that account is deducted from the principal that you owe when the interest is calculated.

12 days no black tea or Coke (a Cola) and I'm down 5lbs. Plus, I'm actually going to bed earlier and getting decent sleep. Small steps hopefully leading to bigger ones.

I reduced carbs quite a bit using the low card bread from the grocery store. It's mostly foam but it does the job. In addition, I've found cauliflower crust to be great at most pizza places that offer it. It's superior to their normal thin crust and you'd never know it has cauliflower in it.

I’ve been trying to declutter my living space and get rid of junk/stuff I’m not using.
Work in progress but managed to sell a few things on FB.
While browsing I found a pair of headphones that retail for hundreds of dollars for $55. I have multiple sets of head/ear phones but couldn’t pass that up (& obviously get used often :lol:)

Took a week off, not to go anywhere exciting or do anything other than chill and be away from the general public. First Saturday I’ve had in forever where I’m not working/wrestling or attending an event.  Went for a ride around local lake, great day for it

Woke up, grilled carne asada breakfast tacos, and then turned on the Mizzou game. Right around half time, I took a gummy. Tonight, we’ll take the boys to a special early screening of Transformers One. Life can be great sometimes.
