It's nothing super bad, at least compared to what it could have been, apparently just borderline diabetic, which still sucks, but again not surprising considering it runs in the family. Just been looking into healthier/smarter eating habits, I've stopped drinking pop altogether, and honestly thought I'd miss that more over the last week and a half than I have, but it needed to be done. Soda was very difficult for me to give up. But like you once I did I didn’t miss it. I credit not being a soda drinker or any sugary drinks for almost 15 years now, with my sugar levels being so good for my age. My triglycerides are great too, I still eat trashy food sometimes, and carbs… but getting rid of soda was the best thing I ever did for my health.

I think I'm chatting with AI because nobody talks like this. That or the start of a romance scam. Context? sandylea ‘s brother got caught in a romance scam of sorts last year What's the story there? I've often heard it's common for lonely old people. Basically I'm talking to this person I connected with on an app and just the vibe I get, it's probably some dude from India but I'm entertaining it for now. Won't send any money obviously.

Can you have the opposite of body dysmorphic? Serious question. This is going to make me sound crazier than you all already think I am, but remember that movie with Amy Schumer where she hits her head and thinks she's gorgeous. That's me. Not to that extent, but for instance I'm having an awesome hair day today and I'm looking in the mirror thinking 'I clean up pretty great'. I go to capture a picture and it's not at all what I'm seeing in the mirror which is disheartening. Same with my weight. I think part of my issue is I don't see it until it's mentioned to me or I see a photo and I'm like 'that's not what I look like is it?' because that wasn't what I saw. I mean loving yourself is awesome, but can it be detrimental? This makes me sound like an asshole.

Basically I'm talking to this person I connected with on an app and just the vibe I get, it's probably some dude from India but I'm entertaining it for now. Won't send any money obviously. My brother is in a really toxic relationship. They break up/get back together every single month, and it’s happened the entirety of their relationship. They’ve been together since 2003. So during one of the times they broke up, he said they were done for good blah blah usual shit. Decided to get on dating sites and meet someone new to prove he could? I guess. Anyway a few people did start talking to him, a few definitely not legit, this one in particular - she lived overseas and wanted him to come visit/she wanted to come visit instantly. RES FLAG. She started saying she loved him straight away RED FLAG. Apparently she had heaps of money but it was locked up with ‘legal’ or family trouble… RED FLAG. Common scam. He wouldn’t listen to anyone about it though. She then wanted a picture of his licence - which he sent, but thankfully he did listen to us and blocked out his numbers which she didn’t like - he started to see the light a little bit there. Then she wanted to send phones to the house, we said absolutely not. You have no idea what’s in them/what she expects you to do with them. He said no, but she kept pushing about it. Wanted his ID/saying she loved him yada yada yada. He was starting to cave (he never said he was, but you could just tell). Him and his psychotic partner got back together, and he stopped talking to this ‘person’. She still kept trying to send him messages, plus she did actually send the phones to the house? My step Dad rejected the delivery, and they got sent back. My brother sent her a message saying we don’t want the phones/they’ve been sent back etc. she’s gone off her nut at him/then the account suddenly got deleted. It was extremely weird, my brother isn’t super old. He is in his 40’s so old enough to know better, but the loneliness is 100% accurate, and just has a very broken view of relationships.

My step Dad’s dog had to be put down yesterday. He was in a lot of pain, and very sick. I am absolutely devastated. We had him, and his 2 brothers since they were born. We raised them. Bones is mine. Little Wolf is my mums. Phantom is my Step Dad’s.
They turn 12 next month. They are young, and deserve a super long life. It’s too soon. I took him to the vets twice, for answers. For help. I was in denial, I know, but I thought he would recover and he would be ok. He is our little fighter, he was sick as a pup but he pulled through. I really thought he was going to pull through.
Phantom was such an incredible and unique dog. He barked like a mad man but that was his way of talking. He talked a lot, that dog talked back like no other. His eyes changed colour depending on his mood. Energetic, playful, the best climber and jumper in the world.
I loved Phantom like he was mine, my heart is broken. I’m going to miss you so much.
Saying goodbye, he looked asleep. He felt the same, he looked the same. I just wanted him to wake up.
I’m grateful Bones and Little Wolf are here and healthy. It just doesn’t take away the hurt. The love of a dog is like no other, nothing can replace. Nothing can replace Phantom.

Losing a pet sucks. Had to put our first family pet down after only 2 years. Grief forced them to get another dog not long after and she's still with us, but we almost had to put her down a month or two back because of her leg and it needed a specialist who was booked up (it was at least a month out JUST for the council) but they got a regular vet to do it. Without that they would've euthanized her for quality of life. She survived but is having issues healing so she's limping. More or less I'm gonna assume based on her breed and age that she's probably only got a handful of years left so unlike the first one I'm somewhat "ready" for the day.

Thank you for the kind words everyone, I’m doing ok but still struggling and crying a lot. I can’t imagine how my Step Dad and Mum feels. I’m truly terrified for the day I lose my fur baby, I really don’t think I could cope without him and I imagine they are feeling a similar way.

Wife had two step daughters and were in involved in a custody with their dad. It was nasty. After I kicked the wife out, I met with the kids dad to drop off all of their stuff that was left at my house, and after getting to know him said I would stay married until the youngest was 16. When he won the custody battle that was the age in which in the kids could see their mom, my ex, without their dad's permission. This would prevent the ex from showing up with a new family to sue for custody or really her suing at all since NC is an adultery state.
Story of the wife in full is crazy and one day will tell with some beers. Learned to stop my string of dating crazy girls after that.
Have no intention of getting married again so not a hard promise to keep. In exchange he agreed to testify if my wife sued for alimony or pressed false charges on me.

Other than the rent I really like my place and as long as they aren't greedy come renewal time I have no issue continuing to live here. Got a slip in my door I guess they're coming to measure for window replacement. The only reason that sucks is it means I'm gonna have to waste 2 call offs because I'm not comfortable having randos inside when I'm not here. Hate doing it but I only got 48 hr notice so I can't request the day off on it's own.

My sneeze count for today must be nearing the century mark. I got hit by a pretty rough bug.
The kicker is that I am supposed to go on a First Aid course for the next three days. Almost certainly missing it. Which is a shame, I was quite looking forward to it.

I have mostly lost my voice. Feel fine otherwise but getting the stink eye from some co-workers. Listen, I'd love to work from home if I was allowed to. But I'm not using a sick day when I feel fine just because my voice is decided to peace out for a bit.

I spread my disease over the PW network. Although my symptons only started late Sunday so maybe All34LOL had it first. Didn't lose my voice. In fact I've never lost my voice. Sounds kinda scary.

Thing about diagnostics is most people online who talk about this never took a class on diagnostics and often do not even know what the actual criteria is for each condition.
Personality disorders are REALLY rare in the wild. If someone is borderline you know if they have it. Their focus of obsession is usually very, very obvious. I used to date them, as the relationships are intense and crazy, but they always end badly.
But generally you know if someone has a personality disorder right away as it dominants their personality. Autism with the spectrum is a weirder thing, and will likely get redefined again soon because low severity autism is becoming a thing, despite it not qualifying really as being a mental disorder as it fails the distress test.
As for that chart, most of the things listed are not actually part of the diagnostics for either borderline or autism. It like confuses what are two very different things by trying to make them overlap by listing things that are not really part of either diagnosis.
Modern DSM has Not conditions as well to cover overlap that most people not trained seem to not realize is a thing. So symptoms do not really overlap as having one condition will have a Not condition for that symptom being part of another condition.

Fuck Metformin. God I hate this drug. Gives you the worst fucking shits, almost without end. I can easily see why this is used for weight loss.
So hoping that I the extended release I should be getting in a month works better as fuck this.
Likely people on this forum will be pushed onto this sooner or later, as 5% of the US takes it at any given time, so when the doctor days the side effects go away after few weeks they are fucking liars.
At least the shits are better than the stabbing pain that was there for the first month.

Mrs Foos is back on Metformin. It's part of her fertility cocktail for IVF reasons in case we try for a third child. She feels your pain c. Her best friend's husband is on metformin as part of his diabetes treatment, and he has zero pooping side effects. She's furious about that.

The extended release does not generally have it as a side effect. The normal one however is hellish. Should have her ask her doctor about the XR version if she is not on it already.
