Do you guys use the mobile version or desktop version when browsing on your phone? It's strange you're having problems but maybe switching from one to the other will help? I dunno.=============
7. Mick Foley is thrown off the cell- The ultimate "oh my god" moment. This was the damnedest thing I had ever seen in a wrestling ring. And you know what? It still is. It's also the lone moment on my Top 25 that wasn't necessarily a markout moment. But it sure was memorable. And I'm not sure my #1 (Foley wins the title) happens without this occurring first.
I saw this live at my usual 1998 PPV destination- the Three Brothers house. There were a few other people there in addition to myself and The Brothers. Most notably this guy Zach who was a periphery member of our clique. He wasn't a wrestling fan. One of those annoying "Why do you guys watch this fake crap?" people. You know the type. Yet even he had his mind blown when Foley was thrown from the Cell. You can't fake that.
For some strange reason the Three Brothers never taped the pay per views we ordered at their house. I didn't think much of it at the time, but it's so weird in hindsight. Get the most out of that $29.95, people! Yet I had to see it again. So I requested a tape the next day from an AOL wrestling chatroom guy whose name and location I still remember- SychoIn98 from Rhode Island. I assume he was a Sycho Sid fan? So KOTR 98 was one of the surprisingly few full WWF shows I owned on tape. All because of Taker/Mankind.
Mankind takes the most memorable bump in wrestling history. Taker comes across as the ultimate badass standing atop the Cell like a boss while the crowd rhythmically chants his name- Un-Der-Ta-Ker. Then Foley climbs back up the cage like a madman only to take another equally crazy bump a few minutes later. Terry Funk literally gets chokeslammed out of his shoes. Foley actually mounts a comeback before getting deposited on thumbtacks. OK, I'm rambling. But that's because there are some crazy people out there who called this match "overrated," or even "bad." Didn't get it then. Still don't get it now. Incredible match. Incredible moment.

Hogan slams Andre- Blame me for this not winning. It made my big list (to be posted shortly!) rather than the Top 25 list I sent RT. That was a mistake. Often in these countdowns my Bakerness shines through and I get wrapped up in personal favorites rather than genuinely famous stuff. Gotta get that trifecta of Foreign Fanatics moments in my Top 10! If I'm being honest with myself, this is probably the most iconic moment in pro wrestling history even after 33 years. Just watch the short 28 second clip RT posted. See the people jump to their feet. See them mark out. That says it all. I'll post the (favorites) list I sent RT in a little while. But if I had voted on genuine importance/famousness my Top 5 would have looked something like this....
1. Death of Owen Hart
2. Hogan slams Andre
3. Mankind is thrown off the Cell
4. Montreal Screwjob
5. Hogan turns heel- forms the NWO
Yet only 1 of those made the "favorites" list I sent RT.
