Omega is a class act.

Main reason Ace is still a problem is because his lawyer is doing Cornette's show all the time and trying to keep this feud going as well, even after Punk is back in WWE. The only way the guy stays relevant is going on Cornette's show and attacking the Bucks, Omega or AEW, and for some reason he wants to be a pro-wrestling personality more than a real lawyer.

I particularly liked the last minute or so where he basically says him and Punk were never on bad terms, he believes they could have worked things out if it weren’t for Ace Steel, and he doesn’t like airing grievances and fights publicly.

Omega has always been the more level-headed EVP and now I have to wonder if any of this week would have happened if he was there. He certainly doesn’t seem to agree with airing the footage. At least that’s my take on what he said.

When Punk got fired the only thing I was mad about was that we never got him vs Omega. And now knowing they are still on good terms I AM MAD ALL OVER AGAIN.

This is a show that made its debut with 816,000 viewers less than a year ago. The landscape hasn't changed that much over 10 months.

I doubt anyone considers that small of a drop significant on a week to week.  5% variation is nothing in television.

It's nearly a 50% drop in less than 12 months.

It was also an incredibly small house.

I would suggest it's time to acknowledge there's some problems in AEW.

If RAW was doing 900,000 consistently, and 10 months ago it was doing 1.8m, I think a logical human being would suggest, something isn't working.

It was a small house as they ran a small market. Ratings are down as the hype of the new show wore off, and it is correcting to what a show airing at this time on a death slot should be getting.

It has been years, clearly every single piece of negative news is not the end of AEW. 

5% difference is nothing more than expected week to week variation.  It goes up next week of course there will merely will be no mention of the ratings, the topic will move to whatever else people want to use for their daily attacks on AEW, which are getting more petty as the week goes on.

I don't think you can use the premiere as a baseline. At it's peak, Collision averaged around 550K viewers. That was when MJF was at the peak of his popularity and CM Punk was looking to elevate a bunch of under-appreciated talent. With both gone, a dip was always going to be inevitable and considering the state of play 450K is a solid number.

I'd understand the concern if this was November where the show was drawing 270K, but this is a pretty consistent number. Especially for what was a fairly standard edition of Collision.

There are the ratings for context. Can see most week to week vary by within 5%.  Thrice they drew over 600k, but those are clearly outliers.  Most shows are within 300 to 500 viewers.

I'm not  sure how any of those numbers are wins.

Because they are some of the highest ratings on cable at that timeslot.

Yes Dynamite ratings this week were a point of discussion for obvious reasons. Not sure what Collision has to do with it though. We’re back to the status quo. What is left to talk about?
