If you bring MJF into WWE, you couldn't start in NXT ad he's far too good in every possible way for developmental. He's probably better than most WWE Superstars in fact. Even the best actors require direction, if unchecked they'll end up chewing the scenery. Which is what MJF is doing. I'd put him into a feud with Cody as an apprenticeship in WWE and tell him to take Cody's lead and do what the brass says word for word, and you'd probably see wonderful things from him. Eek. We have different opinions on how good he is right now.

We have different opinions on how good he is right now. I have no doubt he could work a WWE PLE tomorrow and given the time, he could steal the show. Saying that, he'd need play within the rules of WWE. A mate of mine calls him a bootleg LA Knight, which is silly. But signing him today would be like signing a LA Knight type, albeit 10 or 15 years younger and a much better in ring performer.

We don't need to talk about it, but it's fun.
Airing outside of its normal night, AEW Collision drew record-low ratings during All Out weekend.
Collision, which aired opposite WWE SmackDown on Friday, averaged just 157,000 viewers — down 45.7 percent from last week. It’s the lowest audience total in the history of the show. Rampage, airing after Collision in a three-hour programming block, averaged 233,000 viewers in its normal time slot — up 6.9 percent week-over-week.

The less lunch meat there is on the sandwich in AEW, the more mayo MJF puts on the roll ... that is the "MJF problem".

Including the Canadian Destroyer? Is it too late to want the Super Kick to be meaningful again?

Ok so maybe scheduling the shows around WWE is a good idea after all.

I agree that MJF has lost some of his shine over the past year. The weird gimmick change into a babyface AEW mascot. The edge lord promos. The awful changes to his look including muscles that don’t suit him and fake tan that looks like something off Jersey Shore. He’s lost some of his glow. I still think he’s talented, but whenever I see clips of him these days he comes off a try-hard theatre kid.

I don’t see much AEW stuff anymore, I assume because they do not have the constant run of top level WWE guys being released and coming over. But what I’ve seen I haven’t been particularly interested in. I get a lot of Osprey whom I don’t generally enjoy, and then lately I saw the bag spot thing which I didn’t care for either.
Different strokes for different folks. I have never been a work rate guy, but if I were I imagine I’d like AEW a lot more than I have in my limited sampling.

I really thought this meant the worse AEW gets, the more MJF can command a higher dollar. As if, they know that he knows, that they know he's the top guy under 30 in that company.

An interesting, and logical reasoning for AEW continuing to book big venues.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful has disclosed why Tony Khan prefers doing shows at big arenas only -
"I've asked about this a number of times and I've been given a number of reasons they book the venues they do. It's very common for music acts to book large venues and curtain them off as well. Amenities, how nice the venue is, ease of access, parking, mailing lists, the ability to open up additional sections, concession staff are all reasons AEW chooses to run bigger venues."

What’s crazy about that is small venues are all staffed and organized to support … ya know … the capacity of their venue. The parking and concession staff will be right-sized appropriately.
