Remember when people got triggered like little bitches when GUNTHER had the same name as a Nazi?
Apparently, Mox is channelling Russell Crowe's character from Romper Stomper.
If you've never heard of Romper Stomper, it's about Neo Nazis.

It's become a wrestler's market. Much like when we talk about housing. It's a seller's market.
Wrestlers are getting big bucks, or in a lot of cases more money than they warrant or deserve and that's ok for the wrestler.
Overpaying for housing, it raises the surrounding properties. The same in wrestling. Overpaying a midcarder, pushes the top end up a little higher.
Most of the talent in AEW, shouldn't be seeing more than a few hundred thousand. It's fair. But not over priced either, given the company has still failed to turn a profit and is losing viewership and attendance month on month.
( 697,000 this week for Dynamite )

“people now basically demanding he brings people back to watching cable TV”
That’s the logical conclusion. 200k people who used to watch AEW a year ago just canceled their cable. It can’t be anything else, right?

Except the only people caring about those numbers are the wrestling fans. WBD is not looking at Tony getting the top demo spot on cable and thinking they need to replace that show because it is under performing in the nightlies.
And 44 million cut cable this year in the US so far, so yeah, losing 200k people, or less than .5% of that group, is entirely possible.

That, and they've got perhaps the 4 most unlikeable people in wrestling - The Bucks, Perry and Jericho receiving far too much TV time.

No that is you. All reports are WBD is happy, and they said on record they were happy with AEW, but you guys keep insisting that they must be upset with AEW yet provide zero evidence of it. So like either post your sources or piss the fuck off and stop acting like people are wrong for believing what WBD says about AEW. Like was there even a single news story that said WBD was ever unhappy with AEW ratings? Cause I only seen the opposite. /// And reports are WBD does not care about the number of viewers and were happy with being the number show on cable. So sources that they were unhappy? www.wrestleview.com/featured-top-story/325941-aew-dynamite-ratings-correction-wbd-internal-reaction/

I'm mostly indifferent to Perry, but I don't buy the guy as a threat. Jericho needs to switch roles, I bet I could still enjoy him on the mic at least... But the Bucks are certifiably, 100% insufferable and irredeemable. I can't think of any tag team I've hated more than them, sans The Nasty Boys.

As if WBD is going to come out with a statement suggesting they're unhappy and Tony Khan is on a performance improvement plan until otherwise noted.
Have they made an announcement on the new deal yet?

So you got zero reports at all that WBD is unhappy and are going off what? This all trust me bro?
Reports from today are WBD offered Tony twice what his previous deal was. No reports that WBD is not renewing at a higher rate have come yet period.
Only tribalist fans believe WBD is unhappy and not giving a new contract for more cash.

Keep watching bud, they need all the fans they can get. Yes. We need companies like AEW to stay around, to keep the overall wrestling business healthy.

Funny how tribalists think wrestling is best if only WWE is around and people who cannot work there just have to change careers.
Seeing people get hate because AEW is paying them well is some of the most insane sane I seen on the internet.
But of course everyone loves AEW here. They just do not want to see them get a TV deal, hate the TV product and think the wrestlers all are childish and suck. But they love AEW.

Yes, but the onus is on the promoter to book a promotion that is interesting to watch, not on fans to watch that they don’t like just because it’s ’good for wrestling’. I don’t see people wanting AEW to fail here. On Twitter, sure, but that’s a cesspool. Here I see people talking about how AEW can get better. Is there a bit of schadenfreude when their deluded, self-entitled fanbase, that spent years shitting on WWE when we were all trying to enjoy it, now has to take the criticism and can’t take it? Sure, there’s more than a bit. But no one wants to see AEW fail here.

And again, since you’re too fucking stupid to get the point people make: no one wants AEW to lose their deal. Everyone here think theyre not getting a big increase since every tangible metric is collapsing.

Just last week most sites reported that WBD was happy with the number one demo spot on cable, a repeat from the week prior when they reported the same, and many reported that WBD does not care about the raw numbers like AEW critics do.
But hey if you got a different source show it. Show that they think the show is collapsing or are unhappy with the metrics the shows are getting.

And clearly you are not reading them the same WBD is. There is not a single story or statement from WBD that they are unhappy with the performance of AEW, you just want to think they are.
Reports are over a 100% increased is locked in and they are just working over the details now of the new contract.

I said there’s no logic in a major payout. The 100% plus is assumed to include PPVs. If it’s like for like (three shows, double fees), I’ll eat my hat.

So moving the goalposts again. All this bitching and moaning, first they will not get deal, then they will not get a increase in their deal, now oh well their deal must include PPVs. Get bent, you all been shitting on the fed for over a year and using this shit to do it. Just admit you do not like the fed and move the fuck on, this all is like really pathetic.
