The defense wasn’t good with Berry last year, so he isn’t the missing piece that salvages the defense. He’s a great player, but the Chiefs beat the Eagles a week later without him. He’s not the problem, the defense was not going to be good either way. The offense has misfired badly in three of the four losses because they can’t seem to beat a zone defense.

This is obviously a lost season for the Packers, but they've unearthed two good looking backs for the future. Aaron Jones and Jamaal Williams have shown enough that they can help the offence become more balanced once Rodgers gets back.
