Ooh, Lev Bell fumbles just as the Steelers looked to have all the momentum.
Blake Martinez is having a nice night, double digit tackles plus an interception and recovered fumble.

Wow what a clutch drive from Hundley! I didn't see that coming at all.
Can the Packers defence stop the Steelers two-minute offence?

These refs are a special kind of fucking terrible. That missed helmet to helmet call on the TJ Watt sack was ridiculous. No idea how you can't see something so blatant.

There were a few calls that were head scratching. I don't believe much in games being fixed but this one might make me think twice.

There were a few calls that were head scratching. I don't believe much in games being fixed but this one might make me think twice. To be fair I think the Packers o-line was allowed to get away with quite a lot of holding that would usually be called, including on one of the touchdowns. I think your coaches deserve more of the blame, the final offensive and defensive possessions were terribly organised. Still a surprisingly good performance though, before this game started I was wondering why it hadn't been flexed out of primetime but Hundley had a nice night.

Week after week, no one has a highlight reel quite like Brown has a highlight reel. Perfection in a late game catch. So glad to have a reliable kicker too, I'll always remember the anguish Scobee wrought.
I don't get why the offense and defense can't be great together though. Offense has it together, defense struggles; defense has it together, offense struggles. Like holy hell.
Though it definitely doesn't help Joe Haden got hurt right as the offense started to get it together.
Another game I mostly liked what I saw from the offense. But Artie Burns is terrible, he'll stop and wait for plays to come to him, rather than making plays, too many penalties, and constantly getting burnt. Completely botched his coverage after keeping the Pack on field with a hands to the face. It's maddening. Still, offense is making progress, 4 TD's despite too many drops and a few turnovers, almost where they need to be to make a serious run.

LOL like they would give that call to a back up QB. We all know the refs pick and choose which QB's they will protect. It's not right, but it is what it is.

They were absolutely maddening in this game, for 3 quarters they didn't give a good god damn what GB did. Just glad they let that one kick the Steelers way in the end, not that the helmet to helmet wouldn't have been the right call, but after no calling that OPI to keep GB in decent down on distance, on top of no-call after no-call, I would have been kind of upset if it was a penalty to save the game. Terrible officiating all around.

Yo Shin, must win for Houston tonight. A loss pretty much eliminates them from contention. Not completely, but being 2 games behind with 5 to go is not doable for this team. The Ravens aren't a good team on offense, so this should be a low scoring defensive battle. It's going to come down to which defense steps up. Houston can knock Baltimore into the 5-6 group and bring themselves up to 5-6 as well. That would make a 5-way tie between Houston, Baltimore, Cincinnati, Oakland and the Chargers. The latter two being 1 game back of their division and final wildcard spot. With the Bills holding the 6th seed, that spot looks open.
However, all fun aside, I don't see Houston pulling it out tonight. I think Baltimore wins a low scoring game 19-10 putting the Ravens at the 6 seed, dropping the Bills to 7th due to tiebreakers and leaving us with just 3 (CIncy, LAC, OAK) being a game back. The battle for the 6 seed will awesome as the Ravens have Detroit and Pitt up next on their schedule. The Bills got New England and Indy up next. That 6 seed and AFC West title is going to be fun to watch. That 6 seed can make a lot of noise in the playoffs as its first matchup is most likely going to be against the AFC South winner of Tennessee or Jacksonville.
The more I look at this playoff picture, the more obvious it has become that there's New England and Pittsburgh and then everyone else. Fuck it, give me that showdown as the AFC Championship and I'll be happy with the usual.

Yeah this is do or die, been messing around with the playoff machine and its damn near impossible to make it in if we lose this one. Everybody better bring it tonight.

The Texans are the future of the AFC South. More so then the Titans and they'll always be at war with the Jaguars IF they get a QB. Bortles ain't the answer. Once Watson gets back, this teams going to be scary. Truthfully, without Watson, I wouldn't even want to make the playoffs if I was the Texans or their fans. I say you get a top 8-10 draft pick and get an additional piece and turn the keys over to 2018 and beyond.
The Colts will continue to be trash, with or without Luck. The dude isn't a footballer for life. He got a degree in science or some shit in Stanford. The dudes too smart to play football forever. He'll probably leave Indy soon, too and wrap up his career elsewhere. Maybe go to Cali and join the Chargers when Rivers leaves or something. Or the Niners.
The Titans just don't have it. Mariotta isn't a long term answer and their offense is not as good as we're supposed to believe they are.
Jacksonville and Houston are going to be the top dogs in that division.

I don't think there's a quarterback you'd look forward to facing more as a defender than Savage. As a statue in the pocket he is ripe to strip-sack and that interception is a perfect example of how he can't see the field.

So the NFL has just announced that BOTH Michael Crabtree and Aqib Talib are suspended for 2 games EACH. Without pay.
Too much, too little or good? What do you guys think?

I think it's fine in isolation but again another inconsistent ruling from the NFL considering AJ Green got away with a fine a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah, especially since this would technically count as a "3 game" suspension. This is good news for the Chargers. Also, Coopers in the concussion protocol so the Giants may go 3-1 against the AFC West next week.

I'm keeping track of how many times Flacco throws short of the sticks on third down tonight, one up already. So far I make it four short of the sticks, one sack and two uncatchable throws out of bounds - against one conversion.
