Hell of a game tonight for both sides of the ball. Henry for the most part was contained when it mattered and Jaire shut down Davis. Interesting that’s the way they went but it clearly worked for one of the better all around games.

Savage is transitioning into being a stud. He is playing at an all pro level the second half of the year allowing Amos to be freed up.

Oh and Tae is incredible. He and Rodgers chemistry continues to be on a different level.

It’ll be interesting , Mahomes was - 550 last week and - 250 going into yesterday and Mahomes had a weird game against a bad defense and Rodgers crushed it in primetime so I imagine it’ll be at least even odds going into next week where Rodgers still has something to play for.

Narrative wise the Chiefs offense line and defense is shoddy at best but we were also told for months that Rodgers is washed and has no weapons outside of Adams.

Mahomes still has arguably the best receiving tight end in years and Hill along with a deep as receiving corps , whereas Rodgers has one of the best lines in football.

So I read today there is a scenario where the Giants could either win the division or pick as high as #3 in the draft, it’s a Longshot but it’s possible.

Yeah I don’t think the surrounding talent will wind up mattering. I think it’s all a narrative thing, which is how this always works out. If Rodgers beats the Bears next week I think he’s the well-deserved MVP and I think Chiefs fans will gripe because they had the tougher schedule and did better against mutual opponents, whatever bullshit fans whine about.

If he doesn’t beat the Bears though, I think Mahomes will get the “well he’s the best player in the league and he did enough to win 14 games in 15 weeks and the 1 seed is more important than ever” and Packers fans will gripe about the stats and the TD numbers.

Generally going into this week the rating stats have been fairly equal, I think Rodgers will nip him in the end by closing the season better. The weird games against Miami and Atlanta are just too recent to be forgotten.
