I can't believe it's Week 16 already. That flew by. It was really nice to have football back after the pandemic and it's a miracle we got this far without COVID completely wrecking the season. These Friday and Saturday games just scream TRAP GAMES to me. So many teams that could legitimately get upset, but it's hard to bet on all of them. I think the Rams losing to the Jets and Steelers losing to the Bengals got me on edge with 'cake walks'. I'm going to predict 1 upset out of these 4 games, but it could realistically be 3.
CHRISTMAS AFTERNOON:Minnesota Vikings vs New Orleans Saints- Weirdly enough,
rad took the words out of my mouth with this game. I can really see the Vikings win this game as they are playing for much more then the Saints are playing for. They're playing for their season and after that loss to Chicago, they need another Minneapolis Miracle to get there. However, this game is not in Minneapolis and they have no Stefon Diggs. The Vikings are the Kryptonite to the Saints, but I feel like this Christmas Afternoon, the Saints will play GRINCH to the Vikings and get their revenge. I want to say that the Saints gave it their all against Kansas City, but they really didn't because Drew Brees started the game terribly and by the time the 4th quarter came it was too late. The Saints should get back into their groove here and win this game. The Vikings had their chance last week against the Bears to have a chance at making the playoffs, but this will officially end their season. It's about time the Saints end the Vikings season and not vice versa. The Saints can kiss that 1 seed goodbye, but they'll be fortunate not having to deal with Minnesota in the 1st round. I see Brees throwing for 3 TDs in this game looking like the good ol' Brees and the Saints winning by a TD and clinching the NFC South. PS- Fuck Taysom Hill that piece of shit cocksucker.
Saints win 34-27SATURDAY GAME ONE:Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Detroit Lions- The Saturday triple header should open up with a blowout here. I just want to say Matthew Stafford is a BEAST and the fact he even got onto that field last week shows the warrior that he is and deserves his jersey retired by Detroit no matter the lack of success he has had leading them into the playoffs. The Buccaneers were, as I predicted, kept close by Atlanta. Of course, Atlanta blew the lead though because it's the Hotlanta way. I don't see Tampa Bay losing another regular season game as they were gifted with 3 straight opponents with easy defenses to run through. Tampa should have just as much success as the Titans did last week destroying this defense. Tom Brady will have fun, Leonard Fournette will have his fun too and I will not be surprised to see Lesean McCoy close this blowout out with a TD himself. Buccaneers will dominate and put on an offensive show. Detroit will put up points, but it'll be when the defense eases up.
Buccaneers win 45-28SATURDAY GAME TWO:San Francisco 49ers vs Arizona Cardinals- Will George Kittle return? It wouldn't matter now for me since I got my heart broken last week in the fantasy semi finals.... by 1.7 points! Horrific, nightmare inducing loss. One I will never forget. ANYWAYS; The 49ers season is over, but the injuries have not stopped. If Kittle comes, the Niners might look better, but even if he does come, there will not be much playing time in my opinion. The 49ers got their season wrecked by injuries and they could theoretically get one last big win here and hurt the Cardinals chances of making the playoffs BUT I will not bet on the Cards blowing it. Arizona can clinch the playoffs with a win
AND a loss by Chicago. I don't see that happening quite yet, but Arizona needs to make sure they are on their game in this one. They can not go into Los Angeles to face the Rams Week 17 with their season on the line. Handle their business here and get Larry Legend into the playoffs one more time. I'll take the Cardinals handling Beathard or Josh Rosen (imagine) or whoever decides to be their QB this game. Arizona handles their business in this one. Sorry
pduh, but next year they'll be better.
Cardinals win 35-17.SATURDAY GAME THREE:Miami Dolphins vs Las Vegas Raiders- The Raiders are 7-7, but are still technically NOT eliminated from playoff contention. They have given up 30+ points in 4 of their last 5 games. I'm going to say that this game is the game where the Raiders DEFENSE actually steps up. Maybe it's not so much their defense, but my lack of faith with Tua. This will be my Saturday upset and I don't know why I keep picking against Miami but I do. I just don't see it with Tua. Not yet. Not with those weapons on offense. Their defense is awesome, but they don't have enough game tape on Marcus Marriota and I truly believe MM will give them more trouble then Derek Carr would've. The Dolphins have faced their mobile QBs and Marcus is not the most mobile QB they have faced, but I feel Saturday will have an upset and if it's not SF, it's John Gruden keeping this Raiders season alive for one more week. I'm also not feeling the Dolphins making the playoffs. I'm convinced the Ravens are going to steal that final spot and this will be the beginning of that happening. There's no rhyme or reason to this, but I think the Raiders come out to play and they will end their season at home like they started their season at home; WITH AN UPSET WIN. It'll be low scoring, but in the end, I'm taking John Gruden, Marcus and the RAIDAHZZZZZZZZ winning on a GW FG as time expires!
Raiders win 19-17.SUNDAY GAMES:Atlanta Falcons vs Kansas City Chiefs- I would love for the Falcons to jump to a 4 TD lead in this one just so I can watch Patrick Mahomes orchestrate the biggest comeback of all time. However, that wont happen. The Chiefs are going to come out here and just light the Falcons up right off the bat. There isn't that many worse match ups then this for the Falcons D. They're above average against the run, but very below average against the pass. That's where Patrick Mahomes thrives and he's about to win the MVP with style in this one. No CEH? No problem. Leveon Bell was bought here for this moment and the Chiefs will look lethal this Sunday. An absolute domination. I would not be surprised if the Chiefs are up 4 TDs by halftime and rest their starters in the 4th quarter in this one. Chiefs clinch the #1 seed and Travis Kelce continues dominating the position by going for 150 yards and a pair of TDs in this one. Give Patrick Mahomes the MVP and give Travis Kelce the OPOTY award. Travis Kelce will end this season the leader in receiving yards to become the first TE to ever do so. He will pad those stats in one half Week 17 where they'll surely rest everyone. Give me the Chiefs by A LOT in this one.
Chiefs win 48-21Carolina Panthers vs Washington Strip Club- WHO RHULES?! RIVERA RHULES~! It'll be neat to watch Ron Rivera coach against the team he led to the Super Bowl. It'll be
not so cool watching Dwayne Haskins still be a QB. This bum got his captain status taken from him for going to a strip club maskless and just continuing to embarrass himself and the franchise. Dan Snyder is saying that he's being blackmailed by a minority owner, too. So much drama in Washington. A shame. The Washington D was incredible AGAIN last week against the Seattle Seahawks and even though they fell short, they showed that their one star on offense away from being a BEAST in the EAST. Maybe Gibson and Scary Terry will pop off next season and start becoming superstars, but right now, they have Haskins and JD McKissic. OH! And Peyton Barber. Yikes. The Panthers could've, should've beat the Packers but we can say that about how they could've, should've beat the Vikings weeks ago too until they blew it in terrible fashion. Failure to close out games is why I'm going to take Washingtons D here. Plus, no CMC again. Mike Davis barely got the ball against a terrible run D against GB, he's going to get eaten alive here. They will not blow up the scoreboard with points offensively, but with the Panthers unable to close out games and win close ones, I'm going to stick to that trend continuing here. Washington inches closer to winning the division with a win here. Maybe the NFC East winner will not have a losing record after all. 8-8 is technically .500. Give me Washington by 5. If Washington wins
AND the Giants and Cowboys lose then Washington clinches the NFC East.
WFT wins 15-10.
Chicago Bears vs Jacksonville Jaguars
- The Chicago Bears have looked BACK for two weeks now. Dominating performances in back to back weeks sets them up for a third week in a row. I've so far been 100% correct in saying Jacksonville would not win another game this season months ago and so far so right. This game might scare Chicago fans as they have lost games they should have won, but their season is on the line in this game. The Jaguars might be without their best offensive player James Robinson in this one and this defense is extremely exploitable for Mitch Trubisky who makes the Bears offense FUN AGAIN! The Bears will be watching that Arizona game closely on Saturday as they know a loss by Arizona and a win here by Chicago could place them right there tied for that 7th seed. A loss and an Arizona win would eliminate Chicago from the playoffs and lock up the 7 teams in the NFC. I'm going to give faith to this Bears D and the fun offense of Chicago and keep them alive heading into Week 17.
Bears win 27-17Cincinnati Bengals vs Houston Texans- The Bengals just beat the Steelers! The Bengals just beat the Steelers! UNBUHLEEVABULL~! I don't care, really. Good for the Bengals. Unfortunately for them, that will be their last win of the season. I'm not going to sit here and disrespect Watson and Watt and say they'll lose to the Bengals too. Good for the Bengals on ending the season with 3 wins, but that's where it stops.
Todd have no fear, Watson is going to light this defense up. Also, how about David Johnson last week looking like Prime-David Johnson? Man, all that dude needed was COVID to get back into form, huh? Anyways, two non-playoff teams, I'm going with the team with actual stars on the field. Give me the Texans by a bunch.
Texans win 38-14.Cleveland Browns vs New York Jets- Those fucking useless Jets. Pieces of shit. They cost me my fantasy season and cost me money on betting. Honestly, what a bunch of fucking losers. Sorry
Blindy, but this team is just terrible and had no business beating the Rams and blowing their Trevor Lawrence sweepstakes. Scumbags. Wait until I get on the Rams later. I got something for them. The Browns are going to have something for these scumbag Jets, too. Darnold may have survived Aaron Donald, but he will not survive Myles Garrett. The Browns are playoff bound and it's a pandemic. It could only happen this way and it has happened. The Browns will will jump to 11 wins and win with ease. Why? Because fuck the Jets and fuck Nick Chubb
(eliminated me with that final BS TD in the 4th quarter!) and fuck fantasy football! If you want to talk more about the Jets, I'm sure you will
Blindy. Have at it. Can the Browns win the division? Let's go on to the next game!
Browns win 33-10.Indianapolis Colts vs Pittsburgh Steelers- The Steelers are falling apart. From 11-0 to 11-3 and everyone is talking about it! The Colts have looked great recently with Jonathan Taylor looking like a future star in this league and that defense dominating as I expected before the season started. Well, I wouldn't say 'dominating', they're great though. Two close wins against Houston shows that some rivalries never die. Or does it show that Indianapolis
is beatable? I'm not going to give up on the Steelers here. This is the perfect time for the Steelers to bounce back and show the world who the fuck they are. AMIRITE
🤯?! AMIRITE
RagnarokMike?! I think so. Sorry
jTjohncenaGOAT, but I'm not seeing the Steelers dropping 4 in a row and heading to Week 17 with the same record as the Browns. The Steelers WILL win this game and
CLINCH THE AFC NORTH. Black and yellow, black and yellow motherfuckers! A loss here by Indy could be dangerous if Miami and Baltimore both win this week. Saturday games will make these Sunday games more important.
Steelers win 27-23New York Giants vs Baltimore Ravens- The crazy thing about the Giants game against the Browns is that they
DID have a great game plan. They ate the clock all game trying to keep the Browns off the field. However, every time the Browns were on the field, they were scoring. They also played too risky and left points on the board by not taking FGs. Either way, it was a good game plan that they didn't connect on. Or maybe they were trying to lose because they don't want to be a playoff team? Who knows? I do know that the Ravens are back on fire, though. A great performance again last week should continue this week. The Giants did a great job shutting Chubb down last week, but the bigger problem will be slowing down Lamar this one. The Ravens D should have no problem shutting the Giants down here. I'm taking the Ravens to get to 10 wins and if my upset prediction of the Dolphins is correct; the Ravens will take over that final playoff spot in the AFC. If Indy loses like I said; I'm saying Baltimore and Indy are both at 10 wins after this week. Ravens with ease.
Ravens win 38-15.Denver Broncos vs Los Angeles Chargers- Eh. I'm at the point of the season where I don't give two shits about some teams. These two teams are them. I was right in picking the Chargers to win and Herbert scoring the GW TD won me money so I want to pick them to win BUT they're still the Chargers. This is exactly the type of game they lose after beating the Raiders. I'm taking the Broncos winning and finishing with a better record then the Chargers sending the Chargers to the basement of the division. That bottom finish will guarantee Anthony Lynn gets fired and rightfully so.
Broncos win 30-27.Philadelphia Eagles vs Dallas Cowboys- Whats crazy about this match up is that the Eagles are last in the division, but don't look like the last place team in the NFC East. Jalen Hurts is the real deal and the future of this Philadelphia organization. The Dallas Cowboys are going to have some contract issues coming soon because Tony Pollard looks like the real deal. It's just too bad they paid Zeke heavy. However, the Eagles paid Wentz heavy and we know how that's going. I still think the Eagles are a better team then the Cowboys right now. Dallas has been a disappointment due to Dak missing the season. I like what Hurts is doing for this offense right now and I can see him lighting the Cowboys up.hat's crazy is if Washington loses to Carolina and Dallas wins this week; Dallas could still win the division. Insane, right? That's the NFC East. It'll be very interesting to see if Washington can handle their business against the Panthers and it's good that the Skins play early. The Eagles and Cowboys will know what they're playing for heading into this game.
IF Washington beats Carolina in the early games, then the Eagles would be coming into this match up
ELIMINATED FROM PLAYOFF CONTENTION. So they'd be playing for nothing. We'll see. I'm still taking Philly here and even if Washington does win and Philly is playing for nothing; they'd still be playing to end the season of the Cowboys. That's definitely a good enough reason for the Eagles to show up.
Eagles win 27-17.Los Angeles Rams vs Seattle Seahawks- FUCK THE RAMS! FUCK JARED GOFF! FUCK THAT DEFENSE! FUCK MCVAY! FUCK LOS ANGELES! FUCK'EM ALL! I hope Russell Wilson ANNIHILATES these motherfuckers. The Rams ruined my fantasy season, cost me money and will somehow some way win this game just to piss me off even more, but I'm taking the better QB and better HC. Give me the Seahawks. FUCK THE RAMS!
Seahawks win 27-7.SUNDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL:Tennessee Titans vs Green Bay Packers- I basically spoke about this game last week. Both teams have the perfect offense to abuse the other teams weakness. The Packers Run D sucks, the Titans have Derrick Henry. The Titans Passing D sucks, the Packers have Aaron Rodgers. I'm expecting a high scoring shoot out here. I would love for Indy to beat Pitt and Tennessee to lose this one so Indy can win the division
BUT I am taking the Titans here. Derrick Henry is on his quest to 2,000 and he will keep at in this game. Aaron Rodgers will not be able to keep up with the defense not able to stay on the field long enough. I expect a lot of points, but in the end
UT and his boys fall short.
Titans win 38-30.MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL:Buffalo Bills vs New England Patriots- The Patriots are OFFICIALLY eliminated from the playoffs! The Destruction of the AFC is over! The new AFC East champions, the Buffalo Bills, are their opponent this week and this is the perfect match up for the Bills to really show the Patriots who the new kings of the East are. It's
RT, Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills!
RT get the tables! Destroy the Patriots! I don't care much more about this game, although Buffalo could take that #2 seed for good if Pitt loses this week. It would be funny if Bill Belicheck pulls out this win just to show Buffalo that the only reason they're AFC East champs is because he's allowing it; but he's still their king. I'll side with Buffalo here.
Bills win 28-17.
