Oh the Lobster was Brokenlamp's and the Squirrel Blitz's avatar for ages.  It was the epic battle of Lamp vs Blitz for the ages.  Back when PW did not have rules about animated banners and most of us had dialup.

How old is that avatar c? Did you have it when they brought the boards back?

I remember my start at PW pretty clearly. I was very bored since my dad got my 1st computer. I had NO CLUE about how to express myself at that time. All I knew is that I loved TNA, NNA Impact Wrestling & I had to find people that did. 16 years later, I listen to podcasts, jam out to music, write poetry, thoughtful letters & more. Such fires wouldn't be stated without PW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

No idea why I decided to look up and find this place today. I guess cus I've been getting my nephew into wrestling and feeling nostalgic for it lately. I probably had 10 different names over the course of a few years, so nobody will remember me, but I think I started as MrBenjamin. I think I joined early 2000s, would have been 12-13 at the time, and was huge Rock mark who got offended any time someone criticized him. 😂

I badly wanted to be one of the "cool" respected posters, and tried really hard to come off as a smart mark who knew what stuff like workrate was, but had no idea what any of those terms meant lol. I argued a lot with BenoitMark, and that guy who had the cartoon Kurt Angle avatar, anyone remember who that was? At one point, I formed a poster "stable" with some other Rock fans called Team Bring It where we all had sigs of The Rock and would "feud" with other posters. LMAO. I'm cringing so hard remembering all of this. But at the same time, such a simpler time in my life that it's hard not to get a warm feeling thinking about it.

Anyway, nice to see some familiar names that I somehow remember all these years later. Hope you're all doing well and sorry if you ever had to interact with my insufferable preteen/teen self. 

I doubt anyone here will remember me (maybe Rogue?). I was here and at DOMS, where I was a mod at one point, in the early 2000s but was barely a blip on the radar. I used to read the boards religiously and it has been quite a trip reading through this thread. I'm quite happy to see so many familiar names and I hope you're all doing well!

Right around the time I started watching wrestling in ‘99 this guy at the local deli told me I could get inside news from prowrestling.com. Earliest memory was an article about The Dudleyz going back to ECW, lol. I followed the site for years following until it vanished. I offered help on wrestling video game editorials but posted maybe two updates. Not sure when I found the forums but I posted alot under this name between probably 2009 - 2013? Really foggy on that though. Was into TNA back then so remember being in a lot of those party chats. Usernames that come to mind around then are whocares, mal and inthisthread.. i’m sure more will come to me.
