Someone is stealing my sweet, sweet rep!

I joined in 2002, so I've been annoying/boring some of you for 20 years now!

I modded WOW, OT and A&G, but I can't really remember much about any of it.

It wasn't a golden era for women's wrestling (I'm thinking maybe 2005-07...?), so I just spent most of my time as WOW mod antagonising the regulars (who were always just going on about SHELLEY AND BETH AND ANGEL WILLIAMS) and hyping up the likes of Jackie Gayda and Candice Michelle.

I spent hours and hours and hours talking to people on PW and MSN, but I can't even remember most of their names. I remember kotw though!

I think my avatar was either Stone Cold at KOTR or Cactus Jack, maybe both depending when. Use to have a lot of tongue in cheek signatures poking fun at TNA. I remember a Vince Russo “swerve” signature and a “let the pigeons loose” one.

I joined the original PW back in 2007, I think, as Carlito_Cool. As you can guess, I was a fan of Carlito back then. Wasn't there a board crash or something similar in 2006? I just remember that most people that I saw on the forum at that time had all rejoined after the crash but I might be wrong.

Anyway, I used to spend HOURS on this website in the late 2000's and early 2010's. I loved talking wrestling in both the WWE and Women of Wrestling forums and I have great memories of spending many a Monday night/Tuesday morning in the summer in the party threads for RAW and PPVs. I was still at school at the time, so the summer was the only real opportunity that I got to join in on these and I always enjoyed it. The Beautiful Game section was also brilliant, such a fun community and considering it was a forum about American wrestling with mostly people from North America, that we had such a thriving community there for many years is something I look back on really fondly.

In the 2010's, I had left school and started working so my time for PW dwindled. I was still here quite often but my productivity in Fan Fic, where I spent much of my time post-2009, fell a lot. I had updated my Fic regularly from like 2009 to 2013 but I guess work/life got in the way. The many crashes of PW after this and eventual demise of the original website was sad. It was only a forum, but we created a lot of really cool stuff there as a community and the way it all came to an end was disappointing for everyone. I'm delighted to see this place still going and that so many familiar faces made the switch over and are still active. As much as I've not been here that often in the last few years, I still feel an attachment to this place and a lot of the people on here.

I think I might have been History mod too. I did some countdowns in there anyway! Or maybe drafts?

I also remember being thrilled having to deal with people being super mad because Stone Cold had the genius idea of renaming WOW "Bitches of Wrestling". Top level comedy.

I do miss the Box.

I registered on PW sometime around 2003-2004, to the best of my recollection; although I rarely posted on the board. The only thread I remember creating was one asking who the worst cruiserweight was, which I answered was Jamie Noble, as did most other posters. Poor Jamie; he is definitely not that bad. 😂

There was a PW fork, "Pro Wrestling Revolution", created by some posters on Invision in 2004, which I adminned at. Despite the fact that this board is now over twenty years old, it is still online. I believe I am the only one with the URL, since the board migrated from Invision to another host at some point, many years after it became defunct. billiejoe and Rogue were two of the other posters there.

For Billie, I have had this picture of "Fat Kevin" (... kind of a PWR meme, but before memes) saved on my email account for two decades; so if you ever login, this might be the dumbest/longest punchline for a joke you'll ever see ...



DOMS has already been mentioned several times. DOMS was the rebranded PWR ... It had a pretty good run, all things considered. Shoutout to jdh (aka merle) wherever he is.

Fun Fact: Rogue and I met up with merle for WM25 and had a blast with him. One of the funniest people ever.

I remember you both mentioning his Macho Man impersonation in one of the RAW discussion threads. DOMS was actually the best place to talk about what was happening in wrestling, on a weekly basis, among the same five or so people. We had some pretty popping RAW parties ... even if you were on a fifteen minute delay. 😂

Also, when Rogue met Booker T she told him about our Shucky, Ducky, Quack, Quack rating system. He thought it was great.
