But like seriously, Hillary lost to Trump.  She is out of politics.  The party itself never really liked her that much to begin with.  

Putin just issued a warning that if the world does not giving Ukraine weapons he will start to attack transit vehicles and cripple and the world supply chain.

And this is not really an empty threat as his navy could actually wreck havoc if they were ordered too.

Curious that he has not threatened a nuclear strike though.  He threatens to attack NATO civilians. but still not issued the surrender or face utter annihilation warning to Kiev.  Wondering if he actually has the capacity to deliver a clean nuke strike.

The graft from people going to the Ukraine to "help" is so real. BulletProof Medic Anthony Walker, a failed Canadian comic who went to the Ukraine border claiming he will join the Ukraine army to provide combat medicine service to people in warzone is raising a ton of money. Except it was revealed his combat medicine training was a three day remote course, and while he claims he will be joining the Ukrainian army, all his pictures appear from the Polish border. He claims just today he helped the Ukraine army breakup a crime ring and his following eats the shit up and send him cash to "help" the Ukrainian people, which may or may not a actually be going to them, since it is going to him first and his expenses and what is left may go to them.  He keeps claiming he will be deployed to Kiev as well.

Ukraine just popped it's ultimate ability, the long cold winter. Cold snap hitting that region that expects wind chill to hit seeing temps drop to -20c. That -4 in freedom units. Cold enough to freeze Russians to death in their vehicles. General temp will be about -10c or 14 in freedom units. Still cold enough that Russia needs to figure out a way to stop the cold from killing them.

All those troops in that 40 mile convoy that has not moved now in over a week are at risk of freezing to death in the next few days. Also tanks will need to be abandoned since they retain heat, and conversely a lack of heat. Same with heavy artillery.

I think Russia knows a thing or two about war in the winter.

Yup, except Putin did not send them into the field with any gear to prepare for nights in the cold.  Expected that entire 40 mile convoy will be abandoned.

Russian state TV broke ranks and started to push that Putin needs to end the conflict.

Trump said that if he was office he Putin would not invade because Trump would have nuked him if he did. Sure the rest of the world would have just sat by peacefully while the US played with their nuclear arsenal.

In fact, the feeling is Belarus' economy will collapse without Russia's help. Having a disaster of a year in 2020 and now 2 years later heavily reliant on an economy shut off from the rest of the world - longer-term, it might actually push Belarus towards Western Europe eventually.

Yup. A single American life is all it will take for people to push on Congress to declare war. It is an election year so not supporting revenge will cost people their seats.

This is how American is. We seen the Nazi kill poles and heard of the camps but decided to stay out of WW2. It was only until we were attacked that we went in.  It is said if Japan never attacked us, it was very likely we would have stayed out of the war entirely due to congress opposing action.

Ukraine said today they do not expect chemical weapons to get NATO into the war.  They are quickly losing hope.


US trade groups want action against Russia.  Corporations are losing their investments in Russia as Russia is not giving back planes on lease and taking possession of US assets in Russia.  Many major US corporations have factories and stores in Russia that will be taken over.  Likely they will demand the US taxpayer pays for this loss of assets either through a bailout, or if we will not bail them out, higher prices and more inflation.

Apparently, Russia have said they've had "positive" progress with Ukraine at some conflict talks.
