Israel is working on the peace agreement. It is fairly neutral ground for both and can be done without NATO.

The New York Times correspondent killed in Ukraine in one of the strikes. Curious to see if there is escalation or not now. This is an American dead.

Yup. A single American life is all it will take for people to push on Congress to declare war. It is an election year so not supporting revenge will cost people their seats. This is how American is. We seen the Nazi kill poles and heard of the camps but decided to stay out of WW2. It was only until we were attacked that we went in. It is said if Japan never attacked us, it was very likely we would have stayed out of the war entirely due to congress opposing action. Not gonna defend it. But look back at history, this is how America always has been. /// Reports are the Russian elite are fleeing to Israel where they will face no sanctions. Good to see our strongest ally has our back. Even this logic is flawed. The United States, declared war with Japan in December 1941 a day after Pearl Harbor. And despite a war raging in Europe, they didn't touch down on European soil until 1943 ( yes, before D-Day ) It was only in 1944 that the main Concentration Camps were first discovered by The Soviets. And only recently did evidence suggest British, American and Russian officials knew of such camps as early as 1942. So to say " we knew what was happening in Europe " is the exact opposite of historical fact.

Hope he doesn't text Chavo about the dogs in the side gate. This made me think of a funny YouTube video, where they parodied Chris Benoit and made him say "where's my crossface chicken wings and tap water"? Anyways...Russia asking China for equipment, lol

The US LOVES to start WWII at 1941 for a very, very good reason. 1939, Jews were coming to the US letting us know that there death camps, and death squads killing entire villages. We told them too bad, no visa, no asylum. Read about the Voyage of the Damned.
The Wagner Rogers Bill did not even get a vote, as powerful southern Democrat Robert Rice Reynolds used his power to block it from even getting the floow of congress. This bill would have allowed 20000 jewish kids from Germany into the US. Instead he pushed for the Smith act, which would allow us to deny anyone entry in the US if they were associated with communists or fascists. So if you city was say taken over by fascists, or you were from a country that had a socialist revolt, we could just deny you entry. And this was applied to Jews heavily.
In a passionate speech in 1941 Reynolds said on the floor of Congress: “I wish to say — and I say it without the slightest hesitation — that if I had my way about it at this hour, I would today build a wall about the United States so high and so secure that not a single alien or foreign refugee from any country upon the face of this earth could possibly scale or ascend it."
The US knew what was going on, we just did not give a fuck. Eleanor Roosevelt went around congress and worked to bring some refugees in, but Congress wanted nothing to do with the Jews. After the camps were known about Reynolds said he would prefer them going to the camps than allowing them to enter this country.
This was the attitude of the Southern democrats, who controlled congress. That was from 1941 before Pearl Harbor when Reynolds and the democrats were still opposing Jewish Asylum despite not being well aware that most Jews in Europe were being killed. Again, we did not know they were carrying them off to kill them at camps, we just assumed they slaughtered in the villages at this point.
Him and others using the Smith Act he pushed for, banned anyone coming to the US that left even a single family member in Europe saying, “with every boatload of refugees that comes to this country there are Nazi and communist agents.”
Polls from the era said 70 percent of America agreed with him and Americans were united in their opposition of Jews being allowed in the US. In 1941, Reynolds was so popular he took over the Military Affairs Committee for Congress. By 1944 the US moved away from populism, and southern democrats lost their supermajority and he was voted out. Once our boys were fighting the nazis and freeing the Jews we no longer tolerated nazis and antisemitics in Congress. Before this happened though, he pushed for Executive Order 9066, which set up concentration camps in the US for Asians.
So yeah, we start WWII history in the US after we were bombed, because we were fucking assholes before that.

Russia attacked Yavoriv today. They are just 15 miles from the Polish border.
GOP is trying to claim that Biden support Russia which is why he is not sending in US fighters.
Alt Right going crazy claiming Putin, Trump and Kim Jong-un are the only ones brave enough to fight off the Luciferians, so we should support them and not the Ukraine, NATO or the EU as they are too corrupt to save, Got to listen to an hour of that fucking insanity earlier. YAY alt right news.

Half a dozen American companies were told that in the imminent future if they do not stop boycotting Russia, Putin will arrest executives, take the assets and turn the trademarks of the business over to Russia. Coca-Cola, McDonald's, Procter & Gamble, IBM and Yum Brands are confirmed. I cannot wait to get myself some of that sweet NEW Coke now.
Def seeing Americans paying for any losses these companies take.

US intel thinks if Russia does not get the weapons they want from their allies to quickly end the war, likely in coming weeks they will deploy a nuke to lose the war as martyrs. Losing the war after NATO coming in would be a better loss than losing the war from being unable to capture the major Ukraine cities and slowly seeing their army get worn down.

You can color me shocked at how poor the Russian Air Force has been, seems a complete unwillingness to engage and establish air dominance. We know Putin doesn't care about the lives of his troops, which leads me to assume his concern is primarily around losing aircraft he can't replace.

I don't think it would help much against NATO, however. As an armchair know nothing that I am... I would think that regardless of what happens next, maintaining air superiority where your ground forces are is the never one priority. When the USA hit Afghanistan and Iraq... Twice, their first targets were the airfields and the enemies air defence capability. Either Ukraine is light years ahead of where Iraq was...or Russia is way behind the USA in air warfare. I mean the USA did it from carriers... Russia can do it from their home territory. It's all just a bit hard to fathom.

Well Putin moving towards and endgame. He is starting to level Kiev targeting residential areas now.
Ukraine meanwhile announced it is clear that NATO has no intentions of admitting them so they must move on and consider other options. Likely they will withdraw the request to join as part of peace talks. Post peace talks, they will likely replace their nukes as well.
Ukraine military is a weird one. They love their RPGs. Putin cannot take air superiority as Ukraine has thousands of Stingers, which are the near perfect counter for his aging airforce. Also the RPGs are totally asymmetric. A 2000 dollar missile can easily take out a 50 million dollar plane.
In the Middle East conflicts we took out the airfields to remove threats to our navy, particularly our carriers. Losing even a single carrier would be a severe economic blow, but the only thing that does prove a threat to them are missiles, particularly aircraft launched anti-ship missiles.
