Haven't really heard much AEW news this week so I'm not sure what tonight has in store. You guys hear anything interesting since All Out ended? I haven't. Been weirdly quiet.
.....
So due to likely suspensions/firings we won't see our new World Champion or brand new Trios Champions tonight, and may not see them for a while...or ever again...because of this, previously unscheduled stars such as Jon Moxley & Chris Jericho have been called in.
We will be hearing from MJF, a.k.a. The Devil himself. That promo will be can't miss.
Also two matches were announced over the weekend:
ROH Pure Championship
Wheeler Yuta (c) vs. Daniel Garcia
Death Triangle (PAC & Lucha Bros) vs. Best Friends (Orange Cassidy, Chuck Taylor & TRENT)
That's all we know so far. More announcements likely to come during the day. Match announcements, I mean. We'll discuss those other announcements in that other thread.

Should announce what is up with the title tonight. Punk gone for a few months at least. Yup. Injured from the tope spot. Tony Khan is speaking live. Punk’s injury is serious and will be out for some time. My guess: tournament to see who faces MJF for the vacant title at Full Gear.

Great idea I seen for this was for MJF to use stooges to injury as many people in that tournament so whoever does face him, is too beat up to beat him.

Fuck me up with some Blackpool Combat Club vs Stoke Society. -Danielson wants to run at the title. -Stoke & co are targeting tournament participants. -BCC go against their “trial by combat” code and back up Danielson. -Danielson vs MJF at Full Gear with respective groups lying in wait. Biggest problem with that though is Danielson shouldn’t lose. He hasn’t won a single major feud yet since joining AEW. And they really should be putting the strap on MJF.

They’re running with him still being in contract talks as a story now so we won’t know until someone leaks something or he shows up in WWE. Him playing a “real” voicemail from Tony Khan before revealing himself and then posting pictures of himself flying private out of Chicago is some next level shit. Now nobody is going to know what is real and what isn’t when it comes to his contract.
