This Saturday it's the final main roster show of the year and in another clear sign that HHH is in charge, WarGames will be making it's main roster debut.

Of the two matches, I'd have to lean towards the men purely because so much stock has been put into the Bloodline. I'm curious to see how the match unfolds because it'll be less mano e mano and more about Sami and the role he plays. Will he be the weak link? Will Jey crack? What about Kevin Owens? These are the type of questions that makes the match so interesting. I think the Brawling Brutes and Drew will really shine here as well, especially if we get Elimination Chamber 2011 Drew who really found himself that night.

You can bank on Styles/Balor and the US Triple Threat being fun matches and I'm curious to see what Shotzi does with this opportunity. She's somebody who is made for this profession and really stands out in the women's division. There could be a styles clash here, or it could be another great Ronda match because Shotzi is a little lacking in the fear department - she carries herself like she barely has any.

Surely this has to be the best Surivor Series build in years simply because they're not doing the contrived RAW vs. SmackDown wrestlers who had only just been recently drafted over? :lol:

Those War Games matches are going to be lonnnng aren't they? One of them in a night would be bad enough but two is an absolute slog.

I haven't watched a PPV since Clash At The Castle and I think I'll be skipping this one!

I gotta put this here. Ronda Rousey isn't that interesting. I'm not saying the division is good, I'm just saying Ronda doesn't make it nearly as passable considering someone with star power like her. Paint-by-numbers crap in a holding pattern until WM 39. Where the build-up will be solid to great. Only for the match to be subpar.

Normally I feel the same way but The Bloodline vs The Ragtag Band of Scottish Canadian Irish Brawling Brutes has such an immense story behind it that I'm on board. I also feel that this is the first time Reigns will eat a pinfall in I don't know how long. Not sure who will pin him though, probably McIntyre or Owens.

Fair enough. I wrote Sheamus off because he's been a midcarder for years, but I'm not that in tune with current WWE. Would love to see that, a fresh and credible opponent for the Tribal Chief.

I think Bray vs LA Knight should be added to the card, I'm sure one in the office would be able to make time for it and it would not need very much

I love the NXT/WWE era War Games matches. They really do feel like a big deal.

I'm glad they've gone away from these bland Smackdown v Raw matches for " brand supremacy " or whatever that means, or throwing together a handful of guys for the sake of a Survivor Series match.

On that, I wouldn't have minded seeing The OC v Judgement Day in a traditional match or Gable leading an Alpha Academy centric, finisher heavy Survivor Series match against Team Bro.

I thought it would be Judgement Day vs Bloodline, but this is a better match on paper.

Women's match I assume will be crazy as the girls go nuts when given gimmick matches like this.

And yeah, feels like a big deal and way better than Raw vs Smackdown.

I am so glad they are ditching this brand vs brand shit, it's like they change shows every few months so where is your loyalty at.

It was so played out. Maybe the 1 year that NXT got involved it was fine but I am glad they are getting back to basics here.

I think the last Survivor Series I remember actually being built around actual alliances before the " brand supremacy " angle took hold, was when Brock lead a group in maybe 2003 and tried to recruit John Cena.

I would suggest, it wasn't coincidental that it was to help sell the annual WWE SmackDown v Raw game that usually came out around October/November.

I hope Jey is the superstar that costs The Bloodline the match, not Sami. Zayn wanted to get Roman's approval for months. Now, he doesn't want to hit KO when Owens has stabbed Sami in the back at every turn? Jey messing up because of his hatred of Sami makes the most sense here. This would lead to the tag team title feud. If Sami turns on Roman it will make RR the sympathetic figure in this story.

As pre-planned as Survivor Series/War Games is on the calendar, you've still got to organically book a reason to " go to war "

And The Bloodline v The WWE is perhaps the first time in a long time that something is at stake. The dynamic amongst The Bloodline will dramatically shift if they lose, especially considering the already tense relationship amongst the group.

Considering it would be a full circle back to the " Main Event Jey / Right Hand Man " storyline, and behind humbled by Reigns.

Remembering, Jimmy was " Nobody's Bitch " also...

But Jey comes off as the dumb thug, and least controlled of the two brothers, a turn on Reigns would be magnificent.

What is wild, is despite bringing in War Games, HHH really did bring this back to what made Survivor Series great in the stable vs stable matches that are built up the month before. This is the first SS that feels like SS in a long time, despite not even having the traditional SS match.

That said, wish they would leave War Game elsewhere and do something like a Cibernetico for Survivor Series. Go all fucking in 10 v 10, batting order, lucha tag rules, breaking into an elimination match when one team wins, all that jazz. I think it would be huge, on par with the rumble. Chikara made this match cannot miss, and WWE could easily do insane crap in the format.
