Geno Smith is the man, I said at the time he would have gotten the Jets in a better spot than Fitzpatrick did. Geno Smith was the best Jets QB since Chad Pennington, said it last year and I back that again.

Geno Smith handling yesterday as classy as you'd expect while ex Jet great Jamal Adams is salivating the Hawks win over on twitter with Jets twitter despite watching the game in a press box yesterday in street clothing. 

That's about right. Jason Myers made the pro bowl as well much like he did as a Jet, that's exactly how I remember it. Want the Hawks in for Geno and Myers and because Adams has to watch the team succeed far better while he's hurt and taking a good portion of the cap. Sucks Pete Carroll has to be on the ride but hey can't always get what you want.

Wow what a mess. So Seattle by winning(Which they have to) earlier in the day can eliminate the Lions from playoff contention when they actually need the Packers to lose due to NFC Conf. wins thus making this an irrelevant game from Detroit's perspective if SEA beats the Rams.

Colts are a total corpse of a team but it was absolutely fantastic to see the Giants completely steamroll an opponent like that, something that we haven't seen in nearly a decade. There is absolutely no contest in the coach of the year race, what Brian Daboll has achieved is just incredible. It seems pretty likely that they'll get the Vikings in the playoffs now, which is a great draw and a very winnable game. 

Looking forward to tonight's game, finally a genuine marquee matchup in primetime. Let's hope Josh and Joe can deliver the goods.

Exactly. The Packers are such a big draw they still put them as the final game even though Titans/Jags better fits the brief (and they are banging Jacksonville with a really unfair rest disadvantage by putting them on Saturday).

Personally, I'm rooting for Detroit to make it as the final NFC playoff team, so I'm hoping Seattle do lose to make Packers/Lions a win an in game.

So they flexed Packers/Lions which makes sense because as much as I would love to watch Trevor Lawrence on Primetime, I can’t summon the thought of having to watch Dobbs at QB again.

Hopefully Seattle loses to the Rams (unlikely) so both Detroit and Green Bay have something big to play for.

Also hoping Cincy wins tonight so we can still have important games for the 1 seed of the AFC next week. I don’t have faith in Baltimore to do shit against Cincy next week anyways so I could care less for that. Plus I wanna see Josh Allen try and eliminate the Patriots next week.

If they are ok getting his mom to the ambulance rather than booking it to UC hospital then that might be a sign that he’s at least conscious. I hope that’s the case.

I watched the play from the kitchen but didn’t see him collapse because I was making dinner. When I looked at the TV again the ambulance was coming on and Josh Allen was crying. Saw the replay and holy fuck.

I hope the game continues because I’m selfish but if the players refuse to come back on the field I understand. I just hope we didn’t watch a man die. Hamlin was having a pretty good season too and would have been key in the playoffs.

Just brutal that they’re making these commentators keep on about it.

Read he has a pulse but is having difficulty breathing on his own. Thank goodness for it being 2023 and the stadiums have world class tech and gear and they can catch this asap. 

They will probably give the night off to both teams and resume maybe tomorrow or Wednesday. If McDermott & Taylor have any guts or heart(Or management of both sides since this will be above both HCs), they ask guys who want in and out from playing. Maybe they settle 7-3 CIN, (keeping it football related for a second), both teams are in the playoffs, it's not life or death unless you are counting the homefield advantage. Sorry to fantasy players, bettors etc. but ya know, a kid's life matters more than this shit.

I came home and turned on the TV to check the score and what I saw was a scary as they come moment. He’s the same age as my daughter. I can’t imagine anything scarier as a mom. I am hoping he pulls through and this is not the end of his career or life.

My dad was 24 when he had his stroke due to a blood clot. Just came down off a scaffold for a break and fell over. He was paralyzed on his left side for the remainder of his life.

Grateful they cancelled the game.
