Thielen to the Panthers - obviously a drop off from Moore (his yards per route run dropped off significantly this past season in Minnesota) but a solid veteran for whoever the #1 pick ends up being. Carolina are rumoured to be interested in DJ Chark as well.
aaaand CJGJ to the Lions in a really nice move for Detroit. Another agent fumbling the bag here, the Eagles offered him a multi year contract and they turned it down expecting more of a market and ended up having to settle for a prove it deal. With him, Sutton and Mosely the secondary in Detroit should be a lot better this season.

It's been a great couple of days for the Texans, they make a couple of cheap 1 year additions with Dalton Schultz (another victim of waiting around) and Devin Singletary. Singletary and Dameon Pierce in a Shanahan rushing offence could be a really nice pairing. Maybe get a WR at #12 to pair with the new QB and that offence could really be on the come up.

Sad to see Schultz leave the Cowboys. He was money on TD scoring. Houston desperately needed a TE though and I think Schultz will still be solid as the safety blanket for a rookie QB. Let’s hope Houston doesn’t drop the ball with this pick.
I have really high hopes for Jacksonville this season though. I think they’re competing for the top seed in the AFC and have a top 3 offense this season.

Texans haven’t had a solid tight end since Fiedorowicz years ago. I really like what Caserio is doing at the moment. Hopefully we get the QB right and have a positive season.

Bears might be an issue at #9 if they grant Justin Fields what he really wants and have a Moore/JSN pairing.

Mecole Hardman signed with NYJ, any good mikec. I know he's fast but curious if he can pickup where Braxton Berrios left off for special teams and on gadget plays.

Writing was on the wall once the Hardman deal happened, I hate this move TBH. To move up to the 2nd round at the cost of Moore and a 3rd, that's a good deal by Cleveland. Moore when he isn't grumpy can make stuff happen in the slot. That being said with Wilson, Lazard and maybe Corey Davis who now might stick, Moore would have been upset to fall that far in the depth chart. And if Corey Davis is cut/traded, then well Rodgers may get his wish of either Cobb or OBJR.
Shocked the Packers didn't want Moore but then again Moore clashed with Matt LaFleur's brother and Saleh probably gave him a good writeup on what Moore brings in that regard.
Most likely means Green Bay is getting 1 if not 2 2nd round picks. Cleveland wanted Jeudy so they get Moore at the very least.
That being said for all the good Elijah Moore showed year 1, he showed a terrible attitude when things didn't go his way. Got angry and went after Mike LaFleur and demanded a trade once he was held catchless vs GB. He also threw Zach Wilson under the bus a couple of times, regardless of how good Wilson is or not, is a shit move.
If DeShaun Watson doesn't return to his elite form, Moore will not be a happy camper yet again.

Moore strikes me as the Jets version of Kadarius Toney where a fresh start is probably best for all parties. Jets didn't even take much of a loss as the Giants did in terms of draft capital (although the Giants managed to turn it back into Darren Waller) and they'll get similar production from Hardman.
It's interesting to note that the Packers didn't want him, so that gives you an idea of how he's seen in the league. He definitely fits with the Browns player profile a lot more than Green Bay.

He definitely fits with the Browns player profile a lot more than Green Bay.Yung Joka had durabilty issues throughout which probably didn't help, Moore's issue was just being disgruntled and letting AJ Brown's success get into his head that he should be treated as the same type of weapon. Matt LaFleur isn't gonna take the guy who threw F bombs at his little brother over usage and was getting in his face at one point after he didn't catch a single pass or get a single look in the Packer game. I know the GM makes the call but it's a tough sell in that regard alone. Saleh also probably speaks with Matt LaFleur on the regular and despite them being opposing head coaches on this Aaron Rodgers trade, they probably know the in's and out's of all these guys. Probably helps to make a smooth transition on how to handle Rodgers(Well Nathaniel Hackett too of course). Saleh also needs to have a DC gig ready to go if he doesn't win this year and Joe Barry bombs, I am convinced that's why Barry got kept...to keep the seat warm for Saleh to be Matt LaFleur's DC. #conspiracy. Elijah Moore I hope does well in Cleveland, he has a good opportunity. Curious if he can shake off the "Super talented slot WR" thing he was pegged with the Jets or not, he got tried to be an outside threat but wasn't effective due to size and inconsistent QB play. Part of this will be on Deshaun Watson regaining form though but I am curious if Kevin Stefanski can get E-Li Moore going or will he throw a hissy fit like he was doing year 2 in New York.

This would be an uttah disastah. OBJr Pt I in NY had so many highs and so many lows, what could possibly go wrong in his 2nd tour of Jetlife stadium with his injuries and on this turf that he's been vocal about, especially when his buddy Shepard lost his season on.
But I guess if QAnon wants him, you gotta do it. Imagine if ARodgers goes down and poor Zach Wilson has to deal with him and his fuckin' daddy the minute he starts misfiring. Will get a breakdown on Instagram that made Baker Mayfield's look tame.

Really fast, good on jet sweeps, etc. Not the best route runner and it seemed like he and Mahomes were always on the wrong page for his first few years. Last year was his best season until the injury though so I started having high hopes for him that he was on the way up. I worry about him and Rodgers. It’s seemed inevitable he was leaving since the beginning of the year, so I didn’t have much hope he was staying but I hope he does well.

Sounds like he wasn't happy to be pidgeon holed into being a gadget player by the previous KC offensive coordinator though it may have been due to the inability to run routes or be on same page as you said. Curious if Hackett can utilize Hardman or if he sees something worthwhile. Feel like the Berrios endaround plays will be better if they continue to go to that playbook given he is the far superior athlete. I think his special teams contributions are a big plus too, seeing that divisional round punt return vs the Texans was a thing of beauty. Just made something out of nothing with pure speed.

Berrios is free from the Culpo Curse Blindy . As soon as he leaves New York. Sucks it came a year too late, just need Christian McCaffrey to consider the same now but he might be in it too deep! I feel like Berrios got distracted too much last year, maybe with this psuedo reality TV standing. He looked so much different than what he was in 2021 where he was amazing, especially down the stretch. The white dyed hair was the first sign but he had so many mental lapses in punt coverage, including 1-2 times of not retrieving the ball and letting the punt go deep into their own territory. Also had a bad drop vs Minnesota as a WR that cost them the game. Also feel like Zach Wilson while not excusing some of his bad play also got distracted with Berrios where they began enjoying nightlife early on the offseason vs really bunkering down and putting more work. Curious if that was a reason why there was little to no attempt to bring him back. Still a very good WR4 and maybe outside of last year, a very, very good special teams. Sucks he went to Miami but he went to college there I guess.

I don’t think he was ever pigeonholed in KC, especially not in the last year. I haven’t heard anything to suggest he had complaints about his role last season until the injury. I’d forgotten the special teams since he’d gotten away from it.

Packers social media is almost as bad as the Jets one, didn't even think it was even plausible. This was hilarious.
Anyway according to Yahoo's Charles Robinson he says the framerate of the deal between GB/NYJ for Rodgers would be
GB Gets: 2023 2nd round pick(Probably the 1st of the two back to back so NYJ's own over CLE's) 2024 2nd round pick that can become a 1st pending on either Rodgers or NYJ's success
NYJ Gets: QB Aaron Rodgers Potential 2025 draft pick if Rodgers retires after 1 year(This might be the holdup, 1) If GB would be willing to give up draft pick compensation 2) What kind of compensation if at that)
That's a pretty good deal in all honesty for both sides if it's this. Jets can still keep 13 and one of their 2nds with no 3rd via the Elijah Moore deal. Would be ideal to trade down from one of those spots to get a 3rd.

A few small changes from the owners' meeting - jersey number 0 is now available, teams can have a second TNF game (but no flex schedule...yet), and tripping is now a 15 yard personal foul (McCorkle Jones on tilt).
Other proposals like the 4th & 20 to replace an onside kick, and video review of RTP penalties weren't approved.

Even though the NFL (Roger) is denying it; you can already see the Amazon take over slowly building up. This Thursday Night 15 day notice flex idea is horrible and is obviously a way to tug at Bezos cock. I think Amazon getting involved in the NFL is like selling your soul to the devil. Bezos isn’t going to take the inches or the yards of this deal. He’s going to want the whole field and if that sacrifices players health, so be it.

The big news in the NFL today, is that the number zero has been reinstated by the league.
The last two players to wear zero, or in this case, double zero, were Raiders center Jim Otto in 1974, and Oiler receiver Ken Burrough in 1981.
And already there are takers for the elusive 0, as Jaguars receiver Calvin Ridley, and Cowboy linebacker Micah Parsons will adapt that number.

Imagine those star players that wear 0.
They could either make it as "Zero The Hero," or fail and go from "Hero to Zero."
