This is up from 503,000 the previous week.

NBA playoffs lead-in definitely helps. I really wish they would capitalize on this though and get some more interesting stuff on Rampage while the playoffs are helping them out.

They kicked off Friday with a promo. :lol: what are you doing? Fucking get Vikingo or Hangman or Danielson or Hayter in the ring. Someone flashy or recognizable or both. Hell, kick off the show with Jade Cargill. You can't tell me that NBA fans aren't going to see her step onto the stage and be like "hold on, who is this?"

Unless someone on Twitter is spreading some lies; Warner Brothers Discovery is interested in WWE programming. That can't be good.

Maybe it's someone on Twitter masquerading at WBD, now with the blue check situation.

WBD loves wrestling - they will make a play for Raw or Smackdown to run another night of wrestling.

The full rumor is that if they lose NBA, they will likely try to replace them with WWE content.

They likely will also make a play for UFC.

All that said, if Fox or NBC sends an offer in, that kills for the respective show as they have rights of first refusal.  

None of this effect's Tony, WBD just wants like ALL THE WRESTLING it can get that draws high ratings.

For those who do not get it, WBD wants to end almost all scripted programming on their cable networks.  So wrestling is one form of steady non-scripted content they can offer that has no breaks.  It also is some of the highest ratings per dollar you can get.  Sure they can order two more shows from Tony, but really, there are diminishing returns from one wrestling organization.  But put two feds on your network and you milk both to have wrestling on every night, sometimes with multiple shows.  For those in WBD who do not feel scripted shows are worth anything getting both WWE contracts and making WBD the exclusive home of WWE, along with AEW being exclusively on WBD, is like a wet fucking dream.  And it is not a bad business plan at all really.  

Plus owning them both, they could press on them to work together to do super shows quarterly to replace battle of the belts.  And if they do, I REALLY hope there is a reality show about Tony meeting with HHH to plan them...

Some interesting news kinda sorta dropped with the announcement of the Triplemania Tijuana main event.

Two weeks ago Konnan said in an interview that he was trying to get Kenny Omega for an event, but Omega didn't want to commit to anything because he was still negotiating with AEW. He also said he wouldn't commit to any dates "until he signed."

Then today they announce Kenny Omega vs El Hijo Del Vikingo II on July 15th. So in a roundabout way, it sounds like Kenny Omega has extended his contract with AEW.

Or it no longer matters since WWE is not hiring.

Reported that none of the elite signed yet because negotiations with them all, including Hangman, are in Dec. And Omega has time added for injury so three months more for him. Tony could try to add the suspension as well to the Elite but it would not be in his interests as he wants them as cheap as possible and pissing them off is not the way to do that.

Konnan was basically misunderstanding the situation and it was more in regards to negotiating talent use between AAA and AEW and not Omega's contract. Likely Tony will want more guys to pop in from AAA here and there. I am hoping this means we get Black Taurus at some point. Love that dude.

The whole company is edgy so I am not too surprised. They have blood shown almost on a weekly basis and it's even featured in their intro which I am sure makes Turner Sports thrilled.

I am stunned no one sees how bad this looks but the audience that will buy and wear this shirt probably don't care. 

Turner is ok showcasing blood, as long as it is limited.  Bleeding from the head is fine to them in guys.  Girls get restrictions to one or two per show only, on limited shows.

Shirt is what it is. Not something most will wear, but will likely be out of the shop soon.

WB earnings reports say they will be expanding their streaming service to possibly include sports. Likely Dark and Elevation were removed, and Tony went to exclusive with WB to move their stuff onto MAX when it rebrands.
