Something big getting announced next Weds. Likely Tony announcing the new show, but some saying he will also announce AEW streaming on MAX. Everyone saying details being ironed out now but Warner will be announcing stuff earlier in the day themselves.

Reports are backstage Tony did lockdown a new overall deal, and is getting a substantial increase in cash from it.

Mad King had his surgery last night. Should get updates on when we see him again soon.

Fully expected that Tony’s announcement next week is going to be Collision. The way people are talking it’s a given at this point.

WON has gone as far as reporting the first episode (June 17 in Chicago) will feature the return of CM Punk and be titled “The Second Coming.”

Have to assume with what happened on Dynamite that show will also have return matches for Miro and Thunder Rosa.

Joe likely moved there too since Punk wants to revive their RoH feud. More matches consisting of 20 minutes of headlocks coming I assume.

But, it's not all bad.

The Elite v The House of Black was fucking unbelievable. Jon " bleeds with a strong wind " Moxley v Hangman was good also... that's as far as I got.

House of Black getting unleashed finally was amazing. The Iron Man was really, really good. Best part of the Texas Death Match was the rule change. Normally they suck as there is so much counting. Hangman doing a deathmatch lite was interesting. Great finish to that match.

People reporting that the AEW Max Streaming deal is a lock. Also AEW is getting a sixfold increase in cash from the new deal going from about 45 million a year to 240 million. Four year contract this time for TV and streaming rights. Does not include RoH for streaming. Pay is based on WWE's pay per ratings. Tony draws half as much, so he gets half as much cash, which is a shit ton more than he was getting.

I'm excited to see what is on HBO Max going forward. I have Crave TV here in Canada and that comes with HBO. If I'm getting AEW content on a streaming service and easy access to PPVs I'm going to splooge.

That isn't to say that FITE TV wasn't good for PPVs but if it's all in one place that I already have a subscription to that's a bonus.

Not saying I'm gonna watch it but it being attached to something I already got will increase the chances.

Booster Gold should one day be on Max, as that is the home of DC as well.

I don't believe that. I can't see them promoting her for Collision if she isn't cleared. 

She could be on the commentary desk.  On Busted Open radio this week she mentioned she still may need spinal surgery.  That is at least a year out.  The fact they are still talking about surgery, means she is nowhere near being cleared.

Interesting note about Mark Davis from Aussie Open. When his knee got messed up, Tony got in touch and covered the surgery. This was before he agreed to a contract.

Another group that WWE wanted but lost out on due to the hiring freeze.

The rumor of the massive deal they now think was seeded like the Saudi WWE buyout was to try to anchor the current value of the shows high. Plan it seems is to not redo the contract mid term, and instead do a new plan for everything in 2024. Likely that will include streaming as well. All In 2 from what I saw was still believed to be streaming on Max.

The Bidding War of 2024 was the TV deal all along! MJF knew!

Wait. They didn't renegotiate to get Collision? So they added a new show but didn't get more money for it? Am I reading that right?

I find it highly unlikely they wouldn’t get paid for it but it is Tony Khan so who knows.
