Tony confirmed that despite all of the wrestling journalism stories, he is in fact being paid to produce Collision. Really confused to how people honestly thought he was making the show for free.

Ospreay has no intention of signing with AEW as he simply does not want to live in America.

Sounds like Punk on Collision is not moving tickets for the show outside of Chicago. Being reported that AEW is struggling to sell tickets for these shows.

2000 sold for the lead in to Forbidden Door, 700 for Ontario end of the month.

Canada tour shaping up to be a disaster.

Would be so poetic to see the Elite on Dynamite with large crowds, and Punk drawing hundreds of people in empty arenas on Collision.

Confirmed the Redeemer returns on the Collison debut. Glad it appears Miro is keeping his gimmick and returning.

I'm looking forward to more Miro.

Now we only need more Andrade El Idolo.

I will be all for Idolo if he comes back and wants to be here. Feels like since Flair decided to stay in WWE he checked out. Would love to see him and LiG go on a trios tear.  Which would be a good time to do it as Rush just quit AAA, likely not on good terms.

Hopefully PACs nose is fixed soon and he can return too.

So I'm pumped for the debut of AEW Collision. The return of CM Punk, Andrade El Idolo vs. Buddy Matthews, Miro back in action.

Nick Wayne just graduated. Will be 18 in two weeks when AEW is expected to sign him.  They been scouting him for two years and he had like a retention contract since he was 16.  When he had time, he was backstage learning how to work on TV.

His first match it is believed will be July 12, 2023 vs Swerve for the DEFY title.

Looking like Bucks, Hangman and Omega will be kept off TV for the time being. The hard split was vetoed by Warner, so if Punk is around the Elite will not be there.

Seems PPVs may be the exception but who knows.

Assume Hero and Kingston will also need to be kept separate.  And possibly Hero and Punk.  Cannot believe they brought in Hero for a backstage role.  His attitude backstage is why he never made it.  Fuck he tanked working for WWE by getting into it with Corbin at the performance center.  Hero also is a gossipy bitch to the dirt sheets.

Punk may be a grade A shitbag, but when he said he worked with children, he told no lies.

He is in a backstage role. About a week ago. I think it was a trial run not an official signing.

Johnny TV added to the roster page. He is signed.  Huge pickup.  He has been everywhere and is a star everywhere.  Also not a guy you need to please with belts or main event spots, but can easily deliver in the big matches and with star power.

Looks like the new QT team will be sticking around.

You exaggerate Johnny TV's value. Good pickup, yes. Huge pickup? Hardly. He's a good hand in the midcard, a Dolph Ziggler type role. And that's fine. He has some star power but his star power really peaked over 10 years ago. On the other hand, he must be in his 40s now and he still looks amazing, so good for him. I can't say the same about his ring names which progressively get worse and worse.

If the charisma of a bag of flour screams " star power " then God help AEW.

Maybe he can jump off something, land and Taz can scream " parkour! "

Please tell me, he isn't actually gonna go by Johnny TV, Johnny Elite would be such a better name.

Really weird since he debut the first time as Johnny Elite. The only reason it was a disappointment is he wasn't the Johnny people wanted at the time.

He aligned with QT Marshall as part of QTV, which is why he is Johnny TV now.  

Star power? I don’t think he has star power. He has a bit of recognisability from his time in WWE but nothing else. He always looked cooler than he really was.

He has star power from WWE and AAA. He spent like 20 years on TV in a variety of shit. Sure he is not the top guy, but far more people likely know him than say Hangman Page or Jay White. Like your average Survivor fan knows Nitro. They do not know Kenny Omega.

Nothing wrong with being a "hey I know that guy" guy. Ever fed needs BOBCORES.

That is what makes him so useful. He is the hey, I seen that guy before person. Also he is good to lock down if Tony wants someone who can do crossover work, as he is the absolutely top requested person to return to Survivor, and one of Probst's favorite star players. Six weeks in Fiji would give Tony several months of free advertising.
