You do whatever you gotta do @theshow, I'm all in on an actual colossus like Odyssey Jones though. FINALLY he's getting some shine. I still have no idea why he wasn't in NXT still. I know he caught flack for transphobia in the past but he has so much Keith Lee ability in him maybe minus the high flying. He always impressed me whenever he wrestled in NXT.

Excellent Day 1 Babyface Arc for Priest. I swear a lot of fans have a false sense of confidence with their fantasy booking because Vince booked like an absolute moron (as does Tony), so understandable to an extent; but Paul is going to have a lot people eating crow on Priest, I think.
Cole gives us a run down of Seth Rollins' medical predicament and reveals he is getting an endoscopy. I think he stopped just short of repeating his famous "anal bleeding" moment.

Lumis crawling around reminds me of Brodus Clay's gyrations that they put the kibosh on after the first week he did it. 😂

I still don't love the Wyatt Sicks stuff -- but I don't actively dislike them in the ring so far, which is actually much better than I was expecting

Wyatt gimmick has always struck me as the McDonald's version of Broken Matt in Impact. The burger doesn't quite have as much personality, but it is, in exchange, being mass retailed ...

Fun episode tonight. Lot of stuff to sink our teeths into. Seems like New Day is gonna be split eventually w/Odyssey either replacing one of the two (likely Xavier), which would help this nothingburger FT rivalry make a little more sense. Gunther/Orton should be a really fun transitional main event for BiB. Lots of good potential spots to utilize there. Balor+JD/Priest+Rhea is great so far. I cant wait for Rhea/Liv II, the Summerslam contest has to be at least one of my favorite matches of the year so far. Bronson squashing Seth like that was unexpected, to say the least. He's a goober but still an underrated talent by some WWE fans. Glad they're embracing better presentation with him, though that wouldn't have been my first choice of moves. Bold strategy, let's see how it plays out Hunter... Also, was it just me or was Pat drunk or high tonight? Something seemed pretty off w/him throughout the show. I still don't love the Wyatt Sicks stuff -- but I don't actively dislike them in the ring so far, which is actually much better than I was expecting Their theme is another Def Rebel dud but they looked cool tonight. And that video segment earlier was well done I thought. They're definitely converting me more every week. I also hadn't realized Lumas + Gacy were involved until fairly recently and that peaked my interest a lot more. All the players are honestly kinda perfect for these roles the more I mull it over.

Wild episode.
Someone said it took 15 years for Sheamus to get good. I think it took everyone else 15 years to get with the program - another banger, after banger. Keiser looked great. He's incredibly underrated as a all round performer.
Two people surprised the heck out of me, and I'll happily admit where I'm wrong. First Bronson - anyone who puts a hurting like that on that poonce Rollins is alright by me. And it seems, the live audience loved it too.
And, before I mention Priest. JD is so fucking good and everyone is sleeping on this guy. He stood toe to toe, blow for blow with Priest.
Priest, well... great promo, great match and a hell of a finish with all that chaos.
The Judgement Day is our new Bloodline. I love this new version. So much fun.
The Wyatt Sicks.. I'm still a hard pass on this type of angle. It was a good debut. But a hard pass.

A perfect example of how strong booking can maximise your talent pool. I’m no Bronson Reed fan but that segment was awesome. Fans were losing their shit. The Tsunami is over. Bronson Reed has been aimless for a while, but that was a killer segment. They had to go absolutely all in with that booking, and so they did. Incredible crowd reaction. The Tsunami is an awesome move. So simple yet so effective. A huge man dropping his weight on you from a great height. I'm not convinced Reed is good enough to use that moment to reach new heights, but it's a brilliant start. I still don't love the Wyatt Sicks stuff -- but I don't actively dislike them in the ring so far, which is actually much better than I was expecting Apart from the initial debut the Wyatt Six (I refuse to type that awful pun) have been kinda...OK, I guess. The match was good but once they lost their mystique it was always going to be a downer. Not for the crowd though, they loved 'em. What will get me invested is seeing Bo Dallas step into the ring. Yes, Bo Dallas, not Uncle Howdy. Are we Damian Priest fans now? I have been for a while. He's been getting better and better ever since he became World Heavyweight Champion, and even before then. He owned Judgment Day, and that's why his jealous stablemates betrayed him. And, before I mention Priest. JD is so fucking good and everyone is sleeping on this guy. He stood toe to toe, blow for blow with Priest. That's the first time I've paid any real attention to JD. Impressive match. Again, strong booking gets the most out of your talent. It's remarkable nobody is talking about the top card acts, namely Gunther/Orton and Punk/Drew, despite their segments being very good. However I am not sure why Orton is allowed to show up and challenge for the Raw title when he is on Smackdown. The first chink in the armour of the brand split. It's about to blow open.

I think they’re going to slowly set up to Gunther vs Cena so Gunther running through Orton first could be Gunther “draining the swamp” until he gets to Cena. Almost like the legend killer moment, but he’s killing your childhood heroes. Then Superman comes to save the world.
Bronson had his little moment but it’s only to give Rollins something to do until he faces Punk at WM. Until then Punk has a bracelet to get back.
Have the Wyatt Sicks told us why they’re after Gable yet?

I'm not sure if I like Woods turning heel eventually unless The New Day reunites down the line & the power of positivity prevails in the end. That being said I love Odyssey Jones being brought into The New Day. At least the story is going somewhere now.

Did they attack the entire roster? I thought it was just the production team and other non-werestlers. Gable was the only wrestler I recall seeing (he was certainly emphasised more than anyone else) but I might be misremembering. But yeah, the lack of a clear motivation for targeting Gable is poor storytelling. Could be how he mistreats his "family".

Same with Strowman. They're probably targeting Gable, because... well, no reason... maybe they're working with Gable because he can make anyone look good in the ring.

Sheamus has always been willing to get the crap kicked out of him as long as it looks good on TV, and somehow that's gone overlooked forever

Sheamus was great with Claudio. All he needed was for others to work hard for him to really shine. And the bigger dudes in WWE all seem to love working hard. With the superior tech WWE has too, they should be leaning into Kings Road style stiff fights. Can ditch the head drops, but the strong striking in safe places they can make their thing and it does fit with their slower style.
Cannot believe WWE made Judgement Day work so well. They did really turn into a top group. I like this current version a lot.

There's certainly been a shift in the style WWE is working today, likely going back to seeing GUNTHER and Ilja beat the shit out of each other during the pandemic days in NXTUK and now everyone seems willing to chop and throw hands, where abouts just a few years ago, everyone was looking to fly. Yeah, Judgement Day on paper probably couldn't have worked without how close these guys became, and how much of that came across on TV. It's a land of misfit toys type faction, but by golly, just when it was looking a little dull, they swung for the fences with this break up and it worked.
