WWE really needs to lockdown Zilla Fatu. Dude is getting noticed big time for his GCW work. They do not pull the trigger, someone else will offer him cash and a contract.  Lock him down then things can get interesting doing GoD / Next Gen Bloodline / OG Bloodline.  Then if united that is a large enough group to do a true split roster style story.

The don't get Sami.

They get Roman.

Jey returns to Smackdown, and goes head to head with The Rogue Bloodline. Sami comes to Smackdown a week later to make the save as these two are " Blood Brothers " after all. Still against the odds, Jimmy returns and makes the save a few weeks later and finally... when the top is about to blow on this pressure cooker, Roman returns in GOD mode and destroys The Rogues.

The sub plot is " Can Reigns be trusted? " as you know, those 4 years of being a warlord and all has people on edge. This time around he's a tormented, brooding Reigns - a Chief in exile - without friends, without family trying to prove himself.

I cannot wait for Roman to return. It’s going to be epic. He will come back as the babyface Vince always wanted.

And hey, I was right about Drew being here tonight!

WWE is absolutely cooking right now.

I was thinking this time last week, maybe WWE isn't thaaaaat good and things might be simmering down. But having watched RAW and Smackdown this week... nah, yeah.. it's pretty damn good.

Is this the best week of Raw, Smackdown, and NXT in company history? Like.. has any thee consecutive shows matched up to these three before?

I don't of late, but every week during the late Attitude Era it felt like RAW, Smackdown and Heat were killing it.

That triple threat Chelsea shockingly won was fucking great for five minutes. And the pop for Chelsea winning was amazing!

Amazing show. So many cool things happened. Drew vs CM Punk hooked me the most, with the whole Bloodline saga being a close second. The Solo Bloodline has not been the most compelling at times but all the foreshadowing is beginning to pay off, all in the name of given Roman the biggest pop possible on his return. Brilliant all around. I've never seen Jacob Fatu before, he's a monster. I assume he came from NXT?

The Bloodline held their Acknowledgment Ceremony, and poor Paulie wouldn't acknowledge Solo as his Tribal Chief.

So, you guessed it, he got fed to the wolves.

That pop for Heyman was massive.

I'm predicting some massive moments over the next few months. Jey should confront The Bloodline, Jimmy should return and realign with Jey, the obvious, the big one.. Roman Reigns returns as a babyface.

The day Reigns returns it will be like Triple H in 2002.

I said the same thing in a group chat this morning. HHH had been on the best heel run in years when he got injured. Fans were dying to show him love. Parallels here to Reigns, and Heyman.

Holy smokes. What a segment. That was a mighty bump taken by the elderly non-wrestler!

I would have thought this storyline would have ran out of steam without The OG Bloodline, but credit where credit is due, they've continued going from strength to strength.

Is The Bloodline storyline the best storyline is all of professional wrestling?

It's cemented Roman has a first ballot HOF, it's " made " The Usos, introduced Solo, who has become the biggest villain on Smackdown, resurrected Sami's career, made Cody so much more important and has generally delivered more " moments " than any other storyline in history. On top of introducing 3 guys the wider audience had no clue about, who will all main event something over the next few months. Then consider the influence it has had over the entire roster, from McIntyre's entire personality change, Rollins' motives, The RKO alliance of Kevin and Randy and of course delivering the biggest and best Wrestlemania matches, or atleast the most engaging Wrestlemania main events of all time.

It's incredible to think this started back during the pandemic.

Heyman tried to be useful to Solo but is bent on craving the new crew into his image. Great storytelling.

Well that was certainly an episode of Smackdown.

DIY win the titles in Toronto with a throwback finish and Canada moves on to the semis in the Copa America.

A great day for Canada, and therefore, the world.

Oh it’s 100% happening. I think it will happen before Mania though. Maybe at the Rumble?

My fantasy booking would be:

-Cody beats Sikoa @ Summerslam with Randy’s help
-Randy RKOs Cody to close the show
-Slow build to Cody vs Randy @ Rumble
-could even have Randy keep helping Cody retain because he wants to take the title from him
-Cody beats Orton in the opener
-Orton enters the Rumble to try and get the Mania rematch
-Cena last eliminates Orton and challenges for the WHC at Mania

Mediocre Smackdown, with some lazy writing in the final segment.

Is a top babyface picking a fight with four guys, known to be ruthless killers, supposed to be heroic? An act of a role model? No. It's just dumb. Cody is an idiot and Randy Orton is no better. Be smarter. Pick your battles. But that's rasslin', I guess.

What did interest me is how they're booking Jacob Fatu. He did all the heavy lifting, and I mean all of it. Solo and the Tongans would have been whooped if not for Fatu. He looks way more credible than Solo right now. I guess that's the point?
