The fact that 170 dumb ass democrats voted NO for this law is also sickening and should be eye opening. They’re literally okay with allowing illegal immigrants to come into this country and commit crimes as long as ICE does not get involved.

Biden and Dems passed a bill to close the border with all the stuff in the Laken Riley Act in it and House GOP shot it down.

So why does the GOP want an open border?  Why do they oppose the Emergency National Security Supplemental Appropriations Act so much?

Laken Riley Act dead in the Senate as they do not want to detain immigrant who commit crimes but deport them as per their own bill.  Rather than play politics they can just pass the bill before them.  They will though as the GOP only has immigration to run on so they need that border open.

GOP getting very, very scared of Trump debating Biden now. Given Biden high energy last night, they do not want Trump on the stage with him, as it could expose that Trump is a far weaker candidate than he was. The slurring, mixing up facts, and weak voice he has now they think will expose him as everything they accuse Biden of being, a frail candidate with ailing memory. His lies can also be twisted now to point out his failing memory.

Given the RNC already pulled out of the debate at the insistence of Trump in 2020, people gonna push hard on Trump to hold to this.

Lara Trump put in as co-chair of the RNC. GOP strategy people advising candidates not to expect any money to come from the RNC as the bulk of it will go to Trump's legal fees, and what is left to his campaign.

Hard to give a rebuttal to the state of the union when your party not had a platform in years.

Biden's campaign pretty much starts now, his team will ramp up ads in coming weeks. He has 130 million to start with, compared to Trump 40 million that also goes towards legal fees.

RNC in bad shape too right now after paying for Trump legal fees with 8 million or so, while Dem have 21 million on hand. Lara Trump was also installed to make sure what little they have goes to Trump.

RNC last year had it's worst fundraising season since 2013 as well.  On the state level Minn, Mich, NC, Arizona, Nevada and others all noted their GOP originations are broke from misuse and election lawsuits, and many are in the negatives.

GOP needs to do this election being outspent several times it appears. Unless people raised cash themselves they should not count on seeing any money. Dems will be implementing spending patterns to maximize pick ups based on the GOP cash flow crisis.

Also surprising no one, more and more leaving MAGA and voting RFK Jr as Trump keeps reminding voters he created the covid vaccine and not Biden.

I cannot believe the GOP is really using the are you better than you were four years ago line. This time four years ago could not get toilet paper at the store and had trucks full of dead bodies as the morgues were full. So many people lost their jobs due to Trump's lockdowns we had to make a special unemployment payout for people to survive.

It is all  pretty grim.
Not seen anything specific, but there is a good chance that inflation was festering for 5 or 6 years and nobody knew about it because there was this weird Mexican standoff about raising prices.

Bottom line of the election is based on the ability and track record of both candidates, this election should have an atrociously poor turn out.

Looks like RFK JR is looking to run Aaron Rodgers as VP. Jesse Ventura also being talked about as his donors absolutely do not want him running with Rodgers on an antivax ticket and would prefer Ventura to round out a platform.

Trump money issues taking impact with his team now canceling planned rallies over lack of funds. Big Trump donors are cutting him off as the donations go to legal fees and not campaigning. They would rather spend on pacs supporting the election, than paying off legal bills Trump has. RNC also looking at this issue with big donors looking to give to down ticket and pacs, rather than the RNC that now has the primary goal of paying Trump's legal fees.  Opposing the 2020 election bankruptcy the GOP in several states as well and they will not recover for the election.

Biden and Dems meanwhile are at a considerable money advantage in this election, with no democrat group facing bankruptcy and not wasting money on legal matters.  GOP will be considerably outspent in almost all competitive markets.

Trump also keeps punting trials into the future.  Trump plans to use a DOJ 90 day rule claiming no legal action can be taken within 90 days of an election, but this rule does not exist and only refers to the DOJ self-imposed rule of not charging someone within 90 days of an election.  If charges were filing, there is nothing to prevent trials up to election day itself.  So while Trump does not believe he can be tried after July, the DOJ is fine holding a trial in Sept or Oct even they said.  They just do not want a trial in Nov before the vote.  Supreme Court will likely have to rule on this all though.

With that all said, should Trump not win the election, he is pretty much fucked as he is using all possible legal outs right now.  And he is rapidly running out.  He may be able to stall the rest of the year, but Supreme Court will not rule on every single aspect of the trial, and appeals courts will start to use rulings already made in Trump cases to rapidly decide appeals.  

Of course Trump knows this, and should he lose many predict his very last resort action will be calls for violence against capital again, then the courts.


On the dem side, Biden is still three years older than Trump.
